The next day.

I was planning to visit Ming Yi Fei again, but as I was going to her palace, when I rounded the corner, I once again bumped into a person.

Luckily this time, I didn't fall. It doesn't feel nice to plop once again when my butt had just recovered.

The impact of the collision was yet again great, but before I could fall butt first again, the other person managed to catch me.

And who would've known. I bumped into the same person I did two days ago. He's alone this time, though.

His arm wrapped around me, hand on my waist. I was surprised to see who I bumped into when I looked up at his face.

"G-General Li?!"

"We meet again, Imperial Consort." Li Ming smiled. "For us to have ran into each other again, is this destiny?"

My maids were just about to rebut that that's inappropriate, but before they could, I

"General Li, I'm sorry for bumping into you again. But this is definitely not destiny. I'm a married woman. Please don't make jokes like that."

And then he laughed. He laughed! Is there something wrong with this person's head? ...Perhaps, craziness runs in the family?

Then Li Ming answered,

"Perhaps this is definitely not destiny. Maybe, Imperial Consort Ye really did just run into this General's arms?" Then he brought his head down and whispered closely next to my ear, "Are you perhaps dissatisfied with your husband?" His hand on my waist tightened.

He then leaned back, now smiling brightly while looking at me, his arm still hugging me close to him.

"Please let me go." I only answered such.

If I ask, I think he'll definitely take me, no?

"System, what kind of man is this Li Ming?" I asked the system in my head.

"What does host think? Which information does host want to know?"

"Then... is he kind of like, a lunatic? Is his way of thinking different from the others?"

"By lunatic, if host is asking if his way of thinking is different, then this system would have to agree to that. Li Ming is a person who likes 'interesting things'."

"Interesting things? What kind?"

"...Retrieving world data... Li Ming finds killing interesting. Making people suffer by his hands is interesting for him too. Currently though, Li Ming has the greatest interest towards host."

W-what? I shuddered, thinking I don't want a lunatic to think of me.

But then, come to think of it, isn't this my chance to collect his male essence?

His hand still on me, eyes still staring intently, I repeated,

"Uhm, please let go. This is very inappropriate."

"Hmmm..." He finally let me go.

I immediately distanced myself from him.

"Imperial Consort Ye doesn't need to be that wary." He chuckled. "I'm not going to eat you."

...Your eyes are telling a different story, though.

"That was inappropriate of me. I'm sorry for overstepping my boundaries. I just found Imperial Consort beautiful and interesting."

Oh yes you do. Once I'm done with you, I don't want any more of your attention, though. If only I didn't need anything from you, I never would have wanted to get involved with such a dangerous person.

I didn't really know how to respond to him anymore for now since I ran into him so suddenly, so I thought of going ahead.

"I-I need to go. Excuse me." But as I was rounding him, my arm was suddenly gripped and I was once again pulled into his chest.

Li Ming then brought his mouth to my ears again and said,

"I can take you if you want. I'm good at it." His low, seductive voice resounded in my ear.

I shuddered. I don't know if I'm scared, or if I'm suddenly excited. Maybe a mixture of both?

Li Ming then let go of me. I didn't look back at him anymore, but I could feel he's smiling, his smile definitely one hiding his real intentions.

I half-ran away from him.
