"My Lord, a letter has arrived for you," Butler lee told Adrian.

"A letter? Does it state which one sent the letter?"

"Yes, it does My Lord. It's from Lady Bright."

Adrian smiled and instructed Butler Lee to open the letter. When Butler Lee tried to open it, it was not getting ripped. He tried and he tried but it does not seem to open on his command.

"My Lord, as ridiculous as it sounds. It does not open. I tried so many times."

Adrian looked at Butler Lee. "It's just a paper, how can you not open nor rip it? Give it to me"

As soon as Adrian took the paper, he ripped it. The paper instantly got ripped. Adrian looked at Butler Lee, confused. "What's so hard opening a paper envelope" Adrian chuckled

He opened the letter with anticipation. It was the first time his fiancée wrote a letter to him. I guess their relationship is getting better. When he started to ignore her, she suddenly changed. At first, he thought she was a different person but it was just he doesn't know her at all.

Then, he fell for her again. He tried his best to talk to her or come near her but she always pushes him away. He understands since he pushed her away at first. He wished he did not believe his brother's words and also listened to her side.

He read the letter and as he read further it, the message started to confuse him. He put down the letter and caressed his forehead,

"Are you okay my lord?" Asked by Butler Lee

"Yes but Lady Bright's letter made my head hurt"

"Was her sentences wrong? Oh dear, do not judge your fiancé My Lord" Butler Lee sighs.

"No. It's not like that. The letter keeps mentioning '3 days from now, go to Lady Jones House and find me'. To be honest, I don't know why I have to go there." Adrian said

A knock interrupted them as Adrian and Butler Lee were talking.

"Who is it" ask Butler Lee

"Mr. Lee, The Crown Prince wants an audience with the second prince. It's an urgent matter he, the Crown Prince said." A guard announced.

"Tell him to come in" Adrian replied.

The door opened and they saw Liam's serious face.

"We're going to talk. Butler Lee, please get out" Liam told the butler.

"I can't-"

"Get the fuck out. I have an urgent matter to discuss with my brother ONLY, thank you" Butler Lee looked at Adrian asking for permission. Adrian gave a smile.

After Butler Lee got out of the room, Liam sat down and looked at Adrian seriously.

"Did you receive a letter from Lady Bright?"

Adrian's moods suddenly change. He thought he was the only one who received the letter, why did she give the letter to someone she hates!?

"Yes. What about it?"

"My butler tried ripping the paper but it didn't work, only until I tried it. And the letter keeps mentioning 3 days from now that I should go to Briana's house. What will happen?! I kept reading the letter to gain some clues but none. Just none." Liam sighs.

Adrian sat there thinking. What will happen in 3 days? Will something bad happen? A surprise? Just what?

"Should we go there now?" Liam asked Adrian.

Adrian didn't answer for a couple of minutes

"No. Let's wait for 3 days. If she says 3 days then 3 days."

Liam just looked at him.

"Brother, I'll be going to The Bright dukedom. Do you want to come?" Adrian asked Liam

"No, I and Briana will be having a date. Besides, Duke Bright hates me." Liam laughed awkwardly

"You're still dating that girl? Weird. And yes the Duke hates you." Adrian laughed.

Adrian got his things and head over to his carriage. "Butler Lee, Let us go to the Bright Dukedom. I need to give these notes to Lady Briana"

After 30 minutes, they have arrived. When Adrian got out of the carriage, he saw a lot of knights. It was strange, there was no trace of assassination attack yet all knights are all over the place.

"Good Afternoon Sir Adrian. Because of some circumstances, The Bright Dukedome does not allow visitors. Please come again later" A Knight said

"Can you at least tell Duke Bright that I have Lady Silvia's notes?" Asked by Adrian. The knight Nodded and told Duke Bright.

Duke Bright, got out of the house and called Adrian.

"Second Prince. Please enter, we are going to discuss something serious." Adrian looked at Duke Brights face. He saw that the Duke was tired, the bags under his eyes were visible enough to be noticed by Adrian.

When they entered the house, Duke Bright led Adrian to his workroom. He then told his Butler to bring refreshments as they will have a long conversation.

"Duke, can I ask what happened to my fiance? She hasn't been able to enter class."

"My daughter is missing. She hasn't gone home since 2 days ago. We don't know where she is, We searched everywhere but no sign of her. Even her maid is missing."

Adrian looked at the worried parent. If Silvia hasn't gone home, won't she naturally send a letter to her parent like she did to them but why didn't she? Is there any reason why? Was the letter mean something else?

Adrian is now inside his carriage. Silently thinking. Whether he could have told the letter to Duke Bright. Whether he told it or not he knows Briana has something to do with it.

"Brother" Adrian knocked at Liam's door.

Liam opened the door and let Adrian in, they both sat on a couch.

"Silvia hasn't gone home since 2 days ago. I think Briana has something to do with it."

"You are right."

Adrian looked at his brother, dumbfounded. He didn't expect that he would agree with him. His brother is overprotective towards Briana, he expected that his brother would shout or make a scene but he didn't

"Why are you looking at me like that? I did not eat anything weird. I just noticed it too. Briana started to act differently after she hosted a tea party 2 days ago." Liam sighs

"What? What did you say? Two days ago"

"Briana held a tea party"

"That's it!"

Adrian stood up and clapped at himself. Why didn't he notice it first?

"Brother, the tea party happened 2 days ago, Silvia sent a letter 2 days ago. Both activities will turn 3 days old tomorrow. It means Briana did something to Silvia." Adrian laughed

"It doesn't make any sense, maybe it's merely luck " Liam was utterly confused

"No, it does! Silvia won't mention Briana's address in her letter if she doesn't know what's going to happen. She included Briana's name because she knows she won't be able to come back on time! Her maid is probably with her."

"You're right...you're right! We should save her! Right now." Liam stood up and about to change his clothes

"No! Not right now."

"Why? Silvia's in danger, we know she's in danger. Why do we have to wait? The faster we save her, the better it is." Liam said

"You don't get it. There's a reason why she said in the letter '3 days from now.' I know she's in danger, both of us don't know what Briana is capable of but we have to wait." Adrian replied

He is worried. But he would follow Silvia's instruction. Since he tried to win her again, he gradually knows what she loves and what she hates, including following instructions. No matter how he wants to save her right this instant, he can't yet.

" okay. But what's the plan" Liam asked

Adrian smiled and immediately told Liam the plan.

'I can't believe, I and my brother who's fighting for the throne would work together just to save one girl.' Adrian said to himself.
