1 Love (Author's rambling )
As February is gonna start the author wanted to write something about love because after all, it is the month of love.
Love might happen at first sight, but it also might happen after knowing each other for years, after all, love is like a pickle the more time passes, it becomes tastier.
Love might be like those films where the hero saves the heroine and then they fall for love instantly. Maybe it is as passionate as those Bollywood films where you have to fight with dozens of people to protect your girl, but that's not the only love.
Love is seeing a person every day and still missing them when you're apart. Love is listening to all the boasting and fake stories of that person still finding them cute. Love is smiling at them while they're sleeping, or by only remembering them. Love is picking up their favorite treat on the way home so they will be surprised when they get there. Love is respect, but not submission. Love is care.
Love is challenging each other to be the best people you both can be. Love is knowing each other's shortcoming, still accepting that person completely. Love is asking for forgiveness. Love is forgiving. Love is learn to love our own self too. Love is letting them be their own person and always being your true self with them, too. Love is committing to them and mean it.
Love is addressing problems and challenges, not avoiding them. Love is holding their hand when they are sad or scared — or just because. Love is the kiss on the forehead, just like the kiss on the lips, love is that hug when the other person is in their worst situation.
Love is the absence of judgments. Love is compromise. Love is remembering them when you see that person's favorite things, or just their name anywhere.
Love is arguing, but not attacking. Love is honest, even when it hurts. Love is letting them know you'll always be there for them. Love is finding a balance and work for that together. Love is recognizing the value of the other person and telling them. Love is selfless but same time it is selfish too, it is like giving that person everything, but wanting that person only for ourselves.
Love is saying "I love you" on any chance you get. Love is support and encouragement. Love is patience when things don't go as planned. Love is not only sharing mutual feelings but it also means sharing home, feelings, books, food, and so on.
Love is laughing at inside jokes no one else will ever understand. Love is something that makes you both happy. Love is losing sleep because they haven't come home yet. Love is sometimes admitting you're wrong. Love is also fighting when the other person doesn't take care of themselves. Love is supporting their passion, even if you don't share that passion. Love is never, ever watching a new episode of your favorite show without them.
Love is chemistry. Love is trying to love their friends and family. Love is being partners. Love is listening to some music when you are apart.
Love is boring and at the same time it is exciting too. Love is sometimes imperfect yet beautiful. Love is letting the small things go. Love is laughing at stupid things together. Love is not just talk, but action.
Maybe we don't have romantic love in our life. ( The author is single for a long time) But it means having those people whom you care about, whom you wanted to see happy, it may be your friends, family, relatives, colleagues or might be celebrities, or even might random crush. ( which the author have a lot). Or it just simply means loving ourselves more. After all, Oscar Wilde once said " To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance"
You may also love things, or plant or your pets and that is okay,(Author is also in love with food ) loving someone or something, make us more human, after all, love is all that matters at end of the day
