Vampire / 2.1&2 : This Eden is the holy Drasan

When Eden opened his eyes he was in the middle of a gigantic stadium and it was packed to the brim. Everyone was screaming in excitement. He looked at the man in front of him, he had long hair and was wearing dark robes. Eden look down at his clothes and saw that he had robes on too. He touched his long hair confused and looked at his sword. He knows that they are in a modern era since every single person in the seats was dressed normally.

There were even huge screens showing what was going on in the field from the camera directed at him for those who were too far. He turned around and looked up. There was a high-end tribune with three thrones. In the middle was a man in his early twenties and next to him was a man and a woman in their forties. They were wearing hand-crafted beautiful robes, they had long hair and a crown on their head. Eden looked at the tribunes next to that center one and they were all dressed like him except that their clothes were far more valuable.

He turned around when he heard:

*The battle will start in 90 seconds.*

Eden looked at the huge screen where there was a countdown. He closed his eyes using Versem and an interface appeared. He looked at the specs of the universe then he selected receive and felt all the information of this universe pouring in.

This Eden is a 19 years old vampire. In this universe, everyone became a vampire once the god Xaekar escaped purgatory. He thought if humans were to never die it would be chaos and that they would follow their worst instinct. As he thought they all started to fight to try to impose their dominion on each other. The goddess Chuicya descended and after blessing one outstanding family peace returned. They were part of the few who didn't succumb to their dark urges. They became The Supremes and ruled the Ocaithia Empire.

Before ascending to heaven the goddess Chuicya left The Supremes with the holy charter. The holy charter was a body of fundamental principles the empire had to be governed by. The holy charter also mentioned the birth of the Drasan. The Drasan was said to be the most powerful vampire of history and had to rule hand in hand with Emperor Supreme. With both of them ruling the empire would prosper more than it ever had before and they would never be in times of war again.

Over the years the Drasan became more and more revered like a prophet and the whole empire waited patiently for it to be born. Every parent dreamed that their son or daughter would be the Drasan because it would mean that they would live in the Imperial palace and that their child would be wed to Emperor supreme. Their child would be worshipped by the entire empire and their whole family would live a life of opulence.

Every parent would make a small cut on one of their children's fingers when they turned six to know if they are the Drasan. There was a number to call if they were then they would be celebrated by the entire empire. People waited for the coming of the Drasan for a long time but it never came and they started to lose hope. Eden's father Han Duyun knew that the Drasan would never come so he decided to move closer to the Imperial city so his daughter Han Yanyan could seduce Emperor Supreme.

The Imperial city was inhabited by the Supremes and the richest vampires in the empire. Living there meant that you made it and everyone wanted to live where the goddess Chuicya had descended. After trying to organize a meeting between them and failing Han Duyun decided to sign Eden to the annual imperial battle. Every year a battle would take place in the Imperial city and the winner would get to move there free of charge with his entire family.

He knew that Eden would never win but it would allow him to see Emperor Supreme. The Imperial battle happened in a packed stadium and all the Supremes would watch from their royal tribunes. It was filmed live and it was the only time the empire could see and hear the Supremes speak. Eden entered the stadium despite his reluctance because of his father's threats. As soon as the round started he forfeited and was humiliated in front of the whole empire.

The entire family went back home humiliated and after beating Eden Han Duyun realized that his son was actually the Drasan when he saw the gold color of his blood. Every child would have their finger cut when they turned six because this is when their blood would change color if they happened to be the Drasan. After bleeding Eden dry and burning his body Han Duyun performed a transfusion changing his daughter's blood.

He called the special number and when they saw that Han Yanyan was indeed bleeding gold she was crowned the Drasan and wedded Emperor Supreme. Because of the Drasan's blood being soiled the prosperity promised by the goddess Chuicya never came. The Empire changed and five hundred years later the only thing left was ashes.

When Eden opened his eyes again they fell on the countdown and he had 89 seconds left. He turned around looking at the middle tribune again. He looked at Emperor Supreme Shenzhi with narrowed eyes, the white wolf. He had a chiseled jawline with almond-shaped grey eyes and a well straight nose with full red lips. He was wearing dark robes with a gold dragon and gold belt matching. He was looking at the arena expressionlessly his head held high.

Eden didn't stop looking at him even when Shenzhi met his eyes. The reason why the Supremes and all the people living in the Imperial city dress that way is to pay homage to the goddess Chuicya who walked the streets of this city with robes. All the contestants must make their hair grow and wear robes if they want to compete as well.

When the countdown reached zero Eden's opponent immediately lifted his sword to cut his head. He couldn't understand why Eden would give his back to him just to look at Emperor Supreme. Just because the first vampire to lose is the one who bleeds doesn't mean you're not allowed to kill him. Since he was so foolish he'll cut his head. Eden felt him coming and ducked. He flew behind him at the speed of light and tapped his back. The vampire turned around surprised while the spectators laughed.

Eden looked at the microphone strapped to his robes and said:

"I was just going to injure you but since you want my life I'll take yours."

The vampire laughed.

"Do you think a kid like you can kill me?"

Eden said like a teacher scolding a kid:

"You shouldn't judge vampires by their size."

Everyone laughed again.

Han Duyun looked at Eden in anger. He didn't send him here for a one-man show. He needs to die already so the Supremes will come and pay homage to him at the end of the Imperial battle. Once the Emperor lays eyes on Yanyan he will immediately fall in love with her thanks to the artifact he found. If Eden has to die for the family to have a good life then so be it.

The vampire looked at Eden with dark eyes. They exchanged a few blows and he looked at Eden astonished. Eden started to counter his blows harder and he took a few steps back. He felt humiliated that a kid was holding his own for so long against him. He flew to the other end of the stadium and ran at full speed toward Eden. He flew high in the air his huge sword aimed at his head to cut his body in two.

When the sword was near his head he had a bloodthirsty smile on his face but it disappeared when Eden flew behind him and he fell to the ground. Eden let him stand up and turned around. Before the vampire could react to his speed Eden's hand was in his chest and he had pulled out his heart. The vampire looked at him wide-eyed and he immediately said:

"Please don't crush it."

Vampires can live without a heart in their body for a few days as long as it's intact. Eden tilted his head.

"You were about to kill me why shouldn't I?"

The vampire begged:

"I know I know I'm sorry. You already won, please don't kill me."

The entire stadium fell silent. Eden took a step forward and the vampire stayed in place looking at his every movement in panic. Eden pushed his heart back inside as he said:

"Just because you have the strength to do something doesn't mean you should do it."

Eden pulled out his free hand and the vampire said:

"I understand."

A gong resonated in the entire stadium.

*The winner of this round is Eden Han.*

The entire stadium became loud again with vampires screaming and applauding.

If Eden wasn't the Drasan he for sure would have crushed his heart but It would look bad if the prophet killed a vampire when he could've spared his life. The vampire looked at him thankfully and Eden smiled. He took a seat in the fighter's tribune waiting for his next turn. He could feel his father's look directed at him but he ignored him and closed his eyes.

The rounds went on until they were two fighters left. Eden looked up at his opponent with a smile. The man was so tall that he had to look up and he was muscly. His arms were the size of two of Eden's legs, you could even see muscles on his face.

The entire crowd looked at Eden worried. With his dark hair, his aquiline nose that complemented his prominent cheekbones, his pale skin, and his red lips he looked even more beautiful than a girl. Even if they never thought he would make it this far they knew now that he is sure to lose. They were worried that his beautiful face might get ruined and in the worst case die.

Han Yanyan looked at her brother with a smile. She can't believe that he even managed to ruin their full-proof plan by defeating all his opponents. There's no way he'll defeat that vampire, she's never seen someone as strong as him. Finally, she'll meet Emperor Supreme and he'll fall in love with her. She looked at her father and Duyun smiled.

He never thought Eden knew how to fight. To be fair he lived on the other courtyard even if his mother was his first wife. It's not like he loved her so why would he live with her? He looked at Zhaoyi and she looked back with a beautiful smile. His eyes soften and he held her hand. She's the only vampire he ever loved and today he'll finally have the family he wanted. Their daughter Yanyan will be Empress and that bastard Eden will be gone.

The vampire smiled at Eden.

"I admire you for not killing your opponents but I'm not that merciful."

Eden laughed.

"It's okay I'll still have mercy on you."

Everyone laughed and their hearts lighten a little. They've come to like the cute youth with the big heart. Every time he could kill his opponent but he wouldn't. He would only make sure they would bleed so they can be eliminated. It doesn't matter the amount of blood a vampire loses as long as he does he will be eliminated.

The battle started and Eden gave back every blow full force. The vampire frowned, he flew to the edge picking another weapon. Eden looked at the heavy flail expressionlessly. The vampire ran toward him while it spun. When he reached Eden he aimed it toward his arm. Before it could hit him Eden held onto the chain but one of the spikes prickled his thumb.

The vampire looked at Eden wide-eyed and he immediately let go of the weapon and kowtowed multiple times repeating:

"Please forgive me holy Drasan I didn't know."

Eden looked at him confused then he looked at his thumb in shock. It was bleeding abundantly but the blood was gold.

The entire stadium became silent all you could hear was the vampire begging since he had a microphone on. Eden covered his thumb and he look around panicked. When he realized that the camera had already caught him he swallowed with difficulty.

King Yang stood up and walked to the edge of the tribune looking at Eden shocked. Emperor Supreme Shenzhi frowned. The king ordered the guards:

"Bring the holy Drasan and the Imperial physician here."

The guards nodded and left.

Eden looked at his father in fear and Duyun looked at him bewildered. He never checked if Eden was the Drasan because he knew someone like him could never be. His wife even told him that she checked and that he wasn't. He wasn't surprised why would someone so useless be?

If anyone should be the Dreasan it should be Yanyan the daughter he had with the vampire he loves. Eden is the Drasan. If he knew he would've never brought him here, he would've bled him empty and transferred the blood to Yanyan. Why wouldn't his useless wife tell him? And why did Eden keep the secret?

Eden followed the guards to the Imperial tribune is head down. When he entered he knelt in front of the Emperor, the king, and the queen. Before his knees could hit the ground the king said:

"Don't kneel."

Eden stood up before his knees hit the ground. Shenzhi looked at Eden who's been looking down since he entered. He ordered:

"Look at me."

Eden looked up.

He went straight to the point.

"Why did you keep secret the fact that you are the holy Drasan?"

Eden looked at his bleeding thumb as he said:

"I didn't think she was serious, I thought the words she said to me on her death bed were just it."

The queen asked:

"Your mother?"

Eden looked at her and she smiled at him reassuringly.

He said:

"My mother raised me alone in our courtyard. She never wanted me to go out or do anything that might bring any arm to me. She kept me there hidden from the world and I never understood why. On her death bed, she said that I was the Drasan and that I mustn't tell anyone. At the end of her life, she was delusional so I thought that it was part of it."

The entire empire listened stupefied.

They were cameras in the Supremes tribunes because it was the only time anyone could gaze at them in public and hear their voices. It's a way for them to give the people what they want and be tranquil the rest of the year.

Eden looked at his bloody hand again and said his voice trembling:

"I didn't think she was serious."

The queen looked at Eden and she felt the need to hug him. She stood up and did, Eden hugged her back his eyes sad. Despite being one of the Supremes she's a good person so he's fine with hugging her.

The queen pulled back looking at him with a smile. When the Imperial physician was here the king ordered:

"Check on his hand and make sure he is okay."

When they think of the fact that the Drasan could've died they feel petrified.

He is a prophet sent to them by the goddess Chuicya and they had him fight in the arena, that's crazy. The Imperial physician approached Eden but he took a step backward and said:

"I'm fine my wound has already healed and I wasn't hurt anywhere else."

He doesn't want some random person touching him. He thought that being with Chen for a lifetime would make him less averse to touching but he somehow feel more than he did before.

The King and Queen wanted to ask Eden to still let the physician check him but he is the Drasan they can't command him. They both looked at her their son. Shenzhi stood up and grabbed the medical box of the physician. He pulled Eden's wrist and he sat him on the large arm of the throne. He opened the box and started to clean the blood on his hand. Eden looked at Shenzhi curiously. He knows he is the white wolf so he doesn't get why he is acting that way.

In the original timeline despite his sister Yanyan becoming the Drasan Shenzhi didn't love or even like her. Shenzhi never wanted a partner and every time his parents would find him one he would sneak into their chambers at night as the white wolf and they would run away scared. The Supremes all have a wolf in them courtesy of goddess Chuicya but Shenzhi is the only one to have a white one.

White wolves are considered bad luck and everyone fears them for some reason so he would use that so he wouldn't have to marry. Before his daughter went to the Imperial palace Duyun did his homework. He'd been getting information about the Supremes the moment Zhaoyi gave birth to their daughter to make sure she would become Empress.

He found out rumors about the white wolf. He found an artifact left by god Xaekar that would be able to control a white wolf and Yanyan had complete control over Shenzhi and by extension the other Supremes since he is Emperor Supreme. The entire Empire paid for it because all his father, sister, Zhaoyi care about is being in charge and living affluently.

When his hand was clean Shenzhi looked at the physician and he took everything back and left. Shenzhi looked up meeting Eden's eyes.

"Were you hurt somewhere else?"

Eden shook his head. Shenzhi reached out brushing the hair out of his face. The king and queen looked at their son stunned.

Eden looked at him tilting his head.

"What's wrong?"

Eden simply said:

"Nothing Emperor Supreme."

Shenzhi frowned at that.

"You can call me Shen-Ge."

Eden's eyes flashed with something unreadable and he nodded with a small smile.

They looked at the door when a guard said:

"Emperor Supreme the holy Drasan's family is here to make sure he is okay."

Eden looked at Shenzhi and asked:

"Can you let them in Shen-Ge?"

Shenzhi looked at him for a few seconds then at the guard.

"Let them in."

Duyun, Zhaoyi, and Yanyan entered and they immediately knelt. Eden narrowed his eyes at his father. You're going to pay dearly. Shenzhi looked at Eden then at Duyun. He ordered:

"Stand."

They all stood up and Duyun looked at Eden worriedly.

"I'm sorry for coming unannounced Emperor Supreme we just wanted to make sure that Eden is okay."

Eden murmured looking down:

"I'm okay."

Shenzhi pulled Eden on his lap and he asked caressing his head:

"What's wrong?"

When Eden didn't look up he lifted his chin and he looked into Shenzhi's eyes.

"My mother kept secret the fact that I'm the Drasan to everyone and I don't want them to be punished when they did not know."

"I won't."

Eden smiled his eyes softening. Shenzhi felt his heart beating faster and he smiled.

The king and queen were gaping at their son. What is going on? They thought they would have to talk to their son for hours before he agrees to even talk to Eden but here he is smiling. They always told him that if one day they found the Drasan he'll have to marry it whether he likes it or not. They didn't say anything when he sent all their candidates running in fear but they'll never accept that when it comes to the Drasan.

Yanyan looked at the scene her eyes flashing in anger. She should be on the Emperor's lap and he should be caressing her head. Why does Eden always ruin everything? He can't have him, she has to be Empress. Yanyan bit her lips and she said not able to control herself anymore:

"Don't worry Eden I'm sure you'll fit in and you won't go crazy like your mother."

Everyone gaped. Duyun looked at her daughter wide-eyed. She should know better than to say something like that no matter how angry she is. Of course, he'll never let Eden become Empress but they need to finesse that situation.

Eden looked at Yanyan and his hidden hand tightened into a fist. In this universe, his mother lost her mind because of how she was treated by his father. He only married his mother to inherit her family business and once his grandparents died he tossed them in a different courtyard.

He brought Zhaoyi the woman he's been having an affair with the whole time to the main house as the lady of the house. His mother was treated worst than the help when she was the reason they lived the way they did. She knew that Duyun would bleed Eden dry if he found out he was the Drasan and she was right.

He is going to make sure that they all pay. Silent tears ran down Eden's face but he quickly wiped them looking down in silence. Everyone felt heartbroken seeing him like that, they all fell all love with him as the cute fighter, and now that they know that he is the Drasan they love him even more. They all started to boo when they saw the prophet cry. Yanyan looked at the crowd looking at her with hatred in shock.

Shenzhi pulled Eden in his embrace and he laid in his chest. Seeing the tendency reverse Duyun slapped Yanyan. She looked at him wide-eyed her hand on her cheek.

"How dare you say something so cruel to your brother?"

Zhaoyi stood in front of her daughter and pleaded:

"I'm sorry I should've taught her better I promise it won't happen again."

They all looked at Shenzhi when he said:

"She should apologize to Eden."

Eden looked up and he said:

"Shen-Ge she doesn't have to apologize it's fine I'm used to it."

Shenzhi narrowed his dark eyes at Yanyan and she took a step back in fear.

"She'll apologize and kneel to you."

Eden sat up looking at Yanyan.

She cursed inwardly but she knelt and looked at Eden.

"I'm sorry Eden."

"It's fine I stopped being angry at your words or actions the day you laughed while my mother's lifeless body was being taken away. There's nothing you can say or do that will be worst than that."

Everyone looked at Yanyan horrified. The worst is that it happened, she was laughing while Eden was crying as she pointed at her lifeless body. Duyun was starting to get worried if Eden paint a bad picture of them they won't be able to enter the imperial palace and be near Emperor Supreme. For his new plan to work they have to be close to him. Before he could say something Eden asked:

"Are you okay?"

He looked at Shenzhi but he was looking down. Eden could feel anger from him and not just a little. He felt like he was close to tearing everyone apart. The king and queen looked at their son worried. They can't have the white wolf come out now when they are live in the entire empire. Eden held Shenzhi's face and he said:

"Look at me."

Shenzhi looked at Eden his eyes red. He was breathing loudly and Eden's eyes flashed with worry. He caressed his cheek and said:

"It's okay breath."

Shenzhi took a breath and he focused on the feeling of Eden's hand on his cheek.

Eden smiled.

"You're okay Gege."

Shenzhi's eyes turned grey again after those words. He grabbed Eden's hand and laced it with his.

He looked at his parents and said:

"Let's go."

They stood up and left.

Duyun looked at Eden leaving in worry. If they don't come back to get them he'll go to the imperial palace. It says in the Holy charter that the Drasan's family must be honored. Once they are there he'll do everything for Yanyan to become empress. He looked toward the door Eden exited his eyes flashing with determination. He didn't work his ass off since Yanyan has been born to see Eden on the throne. I would rather watch the empire go down in flames than have you take my legitimate daughter's throne.
