Kian and Lucian walked out of Magnus' office hand in hand. When Lucian stopped, Kian looked at him. He pulled him into his embrace and said:

"You can tell me anything, there's nothing you can do that will change how I feel about you."

Kian wrapped his arms around his neck.

"I won't keep anything from you ever again, I promise. I can't wait for all of this to be over, so I don't have to deal with them anymore. Serena will not be happy when she finds out we're together, and that marriage is no longer on the contract."

Lucian said:

"I don't care how she feels. All I care about is you. I will not stop myself from being with the person I love, just for her ego. And the person who's going to lose it when he finds out you and I are together is Elian."

Kian said:

"You're my soulmate. It's just the way it is."

Lucian smiled.

"And you're mine, bunny. I would do anything for you. If I could give you more than half of my life, I would."
