I sigh and smile at Sialeeds, who stands beside me with a worried expression.

"How is it?"

I nod my head and say.

"It was working. There is no more poison inside my body."

She nods her head and says.

"That's good."

I look to the side and see Doctor Murad looking at the liquid inside the basket and taking the vial of the Flushing Draught. Feeling our gaze, he looks at me and says,

"I'm sorry for not congratulating you, mister Jacob. I need to do some experiments with this potion residue inside the vial. I hope you don't mind."

I shake my head and say.

"I don't mind it. Go ahead."

"Thank you. Anyway, you can go now. I can check on you but I have a feeling it comes like before, normal. Only you know your body, I guess. However, I need to make sure. Is the poison gone?"

"Yes."

I nod with a serious expression and see him smile.

"Good. Be careful out there and have a good night."

After saying goodbye, Sialeeds and I walk out of the palace. When we are at the gate, Sialeeds stops me and says.

"I should probably go back, Jacob."

"Yeah. Thank you for your help, Sialeeds."

"My help? What help? I don't do anything."

"You take me to Doctor Murad."

"And he cannot cure your poison. Anyway, you should lay low, Jacob. I have a feeling Gizel will not let you go that easily. If not for this blasted Sacred Games and his connection I will take all the Queen's Knight and arrest him."

"Don't worry about me, Sialeeds. I have a perfect place to lay low."

And I'm not lying. The perfect place for me to hide was in the dungeon. They cannot come to the dungeon with me.

"Very well. I trust you."

I widened my eyes when she suddenly took my arms and hugged me.

"Don't die on me, okay? If Gizel sent someone to 'convince' you to give up, please give up. I don't want to lose you."

I slowly put my arms around her and hugged her back.

"Don't worry. I will not die, Sialeeds. I promise you that I will not die."

She nods her head and looks me in the eyes for a few seconds before walking back to the palace. I turn away and quickly run across the street of Stormfist. I need to go to the dungeon as fast as possible.

While running, I can see a movement on the roof. They are following me. Five? No. More people are coming from the left. Ten… twelve people are coming at me. Troublesome.

I take a deep breath and use all my strength to push myself forward. I enchant my leg with Wind mana and get even faster. Finally, after running for a few minutes, I managed to get out of the city.

However, I can still feel people following me from behind. I look behind me and see a group of people wearing black cloaks following me, and they can keep up with me.

I activate my Lightning Rune.

"Soaring Bolt!"

Eleven lightning balls come out from my body and fly at my enemy. I can hear a scream coming from my back, but I ignore it and continue running. I go to the forest, where I go to the nearby cave where the dungeon is located.

This is one of the lower-level dungeons near Stormfist. I quickly get inside the dungeon and get teleported into another world where I will be safe. I release a sigh and look around for a few seconds.

"Now, what? This dungeon is only a level ten to twenty dungeon. It will not give me much EXP."

Well, I guess I can train here. So I take out my sword and start to practice my sword technique.

I can only stay silent as I feel the pressure my father gives me. This is not my father. This is Lord Godwin, the militaristic man who holds three thousand Armes Army with only two hundred men for a week. This is the most powerful noble Lord in the entire Queendom of Falena.

"Your action can lose the momentum that we have been building for a long time, son. So what if he wins the fight? Your pride will be wounded but our plan will still be in place and when we take control over the throne, you can then get your payback."

My father leans on the sofa and looks at Childerich, one of the strongest assassins in Nether Gate.

"Childerich, can you kill him in the tournament?"

"Kek, easy my lord."

"Good. I will make sure the referee is paid well and look over a few things. I also make sure the transportation magic and sound magic in the arena malfunction. "Good."

My father gets up from the couch and walks out of the room. However, before he gets out of the room, he stops and says.

"And Gizel."

"Yes, father?"

"I will take care of your problem this time but make sure not to disappoint me next time, son."

"Of course, father."

I give my father a bow and see him walk out of the room. I cannot help but smile at the future.
