4 A Sinner

Chapter 4

One bad decision can destroy you in seconds, regardless of how long you've been working on yourself. A single blunder can devastate your life. even if it's a small one.

A single pinch can be painful. You may perish. It is not about the small or large, but about the pain you are experiencing.

The heavy pain she was feeling she was enduring without screams; she was enduring the pain Kim was inflicting on her with his blade. There were no complaints from her as if she wanted to leave.

The life she never chose must have been painful for her; she was committed to the man she never loved, and they both never chose each other; all they could do was accept that.

The time stood still. Every second was significant, even extended. Kim couldn't believe his blade was thirsty for her blood and that Kim had written her death.

Kim used to think that he wouldn't mind if she left him one day, but that was a prank, a joke that made him embarrassed at the painful unexpected moment.

With the truth, Kim had ended her life and crushed her soul. He snapped and pulled out his sword to add to her anguish. Her blood was on Kim's blade, and droplets of it were falling. Kim's trembling hands dropped the sword to the ground.

As she fell to the ground, Kim embraced her. His mind was completely closed at this point. Her eyes were sad as she looked at him.

She wanted to talk but couldn't communicate a word, but her eyes were expressing a variety of emotions quickly. Her eyes were welling up with tears.

"Mma Ju..."  Sun Ah's final words, spoken with her last breath

Kim nodded, but couldn't speak no matter how hard he tried. He couldn't inhale because he had lost his senses. Despondent tears streamed down his cheeks, leaving him frail.

Sun Ah smiled weakly and said, "T.. Th. Than..k you."

Kim began to cry openly for the first time that day, wanting to tell her everything he had been unable to tell her for years, and for the first time in his life, he realized how important she was to him.

Only loss can make you realize what you've given up in life.

It was difficult for Kim to see her in that state. At that point, the best anyone could hope for was to embrace her and let her tears soak his shirt. not knowing whether to be mad or give up hope entirely.

Kim could feel her grip on her clenched fists and hear her quietly yelling. He was running his fingers through her hair again and again, attempting to calm the war inside her head. There was no doubt that she had died.

He felt as if he had lost a piece of himself as if his strongest heart had been broken, and as if his eyes were the ocean from which his ocean of tears was falling. He'd never felt so helpless and sad in his life.

He lost her, but killing her with his blade was more painful for him; nothing, not even time, could heal Kim ever.

Kim was in the middle of a battle carrying Sun Ah's dead body when the military shielded him from enemies, and they were stunned to see the misfortune Kim was confronting.

That was the path Kim was taking.

She would follow him wherever he went, like a shadow, even if she was no longer alive. The pain seemed to have the potential to kill him one day.

How am I supposed to deal with this? How am I going to deal with the fact that she isn't yet present in my life? Every second, those words teased Kim.

Sub Ji was dazed as he witnessed Sun Ah's death. He foresaw what would happen to them. Subji chose to flee before Kim turned into a beast. Every criminal was aware of Kim's ruthlessness.

When his comrades were surrounded by the military, Sub Ji saw an opportunity and fled with some of his men.

A single tear streamed down Kim's cheek as he stared at Sun Ah's dead body. He kissed her on the forehead goodbye—the kiss he should have given her to express his love, which he only realized after she died.

Kim had committed a sin that he couldn't even tell his shadow about. He was at a loss for words.

What could I say to my family about what had just happened? Kim was thinking every second, trying to find the answer to the question that was bothering him the most and making him afraid to face his children.

Soldiers were killing the bandits. Their bodies were strewn about, lying in a sea of blood. Fear was in the air, and every exit was closed to them.

"Nobody is going to kill them. All of them are mine." Kim warned them not to eat shark meat.

The military remained on Kim's orders. He became enraged before turning around to face the crooks.

Kim could have killed all of them in a single attack, but he was playing with them right up until the end.

Present Day:

Back to the Burial Ground

As he sobbed quietly, Ma Jun's every tear was an arrow in Kim's heart. Lee Won, his companion, attempted to console him by placing a hand on his shoulder.

How will he confront his children?

Consider the possibility that they will one day find out. Throughout his daily life, he was terrified. Even when he was on the verge of death several times, he was never scared.

Kim would rather not uncover it.

However, reality will be revealed one day. Losing her caused Kim anguish as well as shame, and he was ashamed of himself.

That was his selfishness, or you could say he simply needed a break from his relationship for a while. That wasn't to say he wanted to lose her, Sun Ah.

They never intended to be together, but they were together for 18 years. never had a good relationship, but she was his peace.

Kim's own life was becoming a burden to him, and the guilt he was carrying inside was slowly killing him.

Why did she always come up with winning strategies? She needed to get rid of me again, and she did. Kim had been thinking about her.

Kim saw an orange butterfly on her grave. She used to chase butterflies, but they came to her after she died, just like him.

Once the body dies, so does the soul.
