Cat Cafe

Although it took a while eventually I got to the little cafe

I was still a bit early so I new she wasn't here yet

She always makes it either right on time or ten minutes late

It's the most annoying thing

While looking at the cafe I smiled when I realized the place my friend wanted to meet up at was a cat cafe

'Such a funny idiot'

I went in to get a table to stay at so I could wait for her to arrive

I tried to keep a straight face as I saw the inside of the cafe but I just couldn't

I broke out laughing once I saw all the cats and how all the tables were on the floor so the cats could easily get to us

With a floppy smile on my face I quickly got a table and sat down waiting

But it didn't take long before cats came over to me I sat still and didn't touch any of them until one burrowed into my lap like I was a couch

I started petting the cat just enjoying myself

'I wonder if I should get a cat?.... never mind my dad would never let me... but once I move out I can try and get one'

I was having so much fun just playing and petting the cats that I only noticed my friend had arrived when I heard the snapping sound of her camera

I jumped up off the floor in fright and instinctively kicked my friend and her camera away

I quickly relaxed and stopped back to my cats while grumbling

"damn you short dwarf"

She glared at me and then went back to looking at her phone after doing who knows what she looks back up to me and smiles while saying

"Long time no see Donut"

Nice to see you too

I look her up and down to see if anything's changed but she looks almost the exact same except for her hair getting longer... sadly for me she got a bit taller

"Mia I didn't even think it was humanly possible but I think you managed to get shorter over time" I lied while laughing

I didn't think her expression could get worse but I was proven wrong after she heard what I said her whole face distorted in anger

I couldn't stop myself from rolling all over the floor laughing almost rolling on a poor cat

Mia sat down on the pillow chair on the floor right across from me looking angry but in a hilarious way

Unlike when I first sat down all the cats stayed as far away from Mia as possible and the few that did try and get close to her would immediately scurry off when she tried to pick them up

"If you want them to come to you, you shouldn't keep moving around you know" I laughed looking at her struggle

After a few minutes of Mia scaring off cats a waitress in a cute apron came over to ask what we wanted to eat Mia just ordered coffee and a cupcake

I simply ordered the same thing as her but with water instead

As we waited for the food Mia just glared at me because of all the cats coming over to me

But if she were to just STAY STILL she could also have cats coming over to her eventually

We eventually started talking back and forth about things not having a specific topic we talked about all sorts of things but we both somehow knew that we wouldn't talk about anything really important or Interesting for that matter until we at least have one shot of alcohol in us which will come later... a lot later

Once we get are food and she eats her first cupcake she just takes off the outside wrapper and consumes the whole cupcake if you hadn't seen her eat before you might be surprised but don't let this weirdos small figure fool you she eats more then any person I've ever seen

When I first saw her eat like this I wondered writhed she was human or not

After her first cupcake she just continued asking for more cupcakes one after another by the time I was finished with my first cupcake I'm pretty sure she already consumed ten

At my forth cupcake she finally got full or at least her teeth started hurting because of all the sugar And had to stop

I quickly finished and asked with a smug look on my face "You paying?"

Oh dear lord just seeing her face fall brought a huge smile to my face

It only took her a moment to recompose herself and give me those fake puppy dog eyes I hope of me letting her off

"Lizzy, my favorite friend you wouldn't do this to me right~" she tried to keep her voice from stuttering but soon real tears formed in her eyes at the thought of her having to pay for all the cupcakes she ate

I just broke down laughing I couldn't take it

I had to hold my stomach because of the pain that came with laughing that hard small tears had already fallen from my eyes

When I finally calmed my laughing a bit and tried to sit back up normally I saw her glaring face and I just couldn't take it and went straight back to dying from laughter

It took what seemed to be minutes before I finally calmed down and told her that I'm paying

After I payed she pushed me out of the cafe faster then what should have been possible with her strength

She looked the most excited she's been sense we've started while dragging me

And that was because she was about to take me to her most natural environment a club
