Welcome Princess

Trembling Celesti clenched her hands over the skirts of her dress. She could feel a tension in her shoulders and she tried to calmly take deep breaths in and out. Her fingertips already feeling frozen from the lack of control. The empire Soleil and Celestia were drastically different in the ways of temperature. Her people were used to being able to withstand the coldest temperatures. If they traveled to any other neighboring lands they would most likely catch a fever from the different environment conditions.

This was would fall differently on the royal family more so on Celesti and her two oldest brothers. Their difference laying in the crystal embedded into their bodies. During their life in the Silver doe's forest their bodies where unable to adjust to the celestial energy in it. No normal humans would be able to survive in a guardian spirit realm like that. In order to do so each relieved a ice crystal seedling from the silver doe. Once swallowed their body temperatures dropped and their growth speed accelerated. Children reborn into the bodies of teenagers with their appearances matching kin to the silver doe's human form.

Now traveling in Soleil governed by the Golden Phoenix her body felt tense and weak against the thick air and hot sun. It would take quite a while for her to be able to control the ice seedling inside of her in order to comfortably be able to keep her temperature at the same level.

The last time she had been here, she had failed to concentrate easily and the heat had become too much that it classed with the ice seedling. Collapsing later that day and becoming bedridden for days after. The emperor had made no gesture of visiting her out of concern even granting her an audience at her arrival. The first time they had officially met was the day after she had recovered, their wedding ceremony.

Her clenched hands tightened over her skirt and she thought back to the cold hatred look I'm his eyes that day. Appearing as if she had been nothing but vile creature he wanted nothing but to crush with his foot.

Letting out a breath she shook her head placing a hand on her chest. It would do nothing to think about now. She had to focus on stabilizing her core. If she would have to wait until the wedding ceremony to see the emperor would take advantage of the time to stratgize her plan. A plan to survive one year in this empire before stepping down from the throne. Her family and empire would remain unharmed.

"Princess."

A voice muttered out from the outside of the carriage. Lifting her head she met the gaze Juvel's warm gaze as he sat on his horse besides the carriage.

"We've arriving at the palace shortly." With a nod she watched as he moved to the front of the escort guards. Her eyes widening slightly in awe city in front of her. Celestia was known for its white and silver blue buildings. Soleil the buildings were beautiful as well. The walls of the homes and shops seemed to be built with a sort of sand color. Some built with stones or shiny red-brown wood. The rooftops were red or honey brown. The streets seemed busy as the people carried on with their days in a lively manner. They seemed happily. As she glanced around her eyes met few curious eyes staring at her appearance in awe. Because of the different environments, the people of Soleil most likely have never come across a person from Celestia before. Moving away from the window she took in a deep breath closing her eyes for the remainder of the trip.

As she felt her fingertips slowly growing warmer with her breaths the halt of the carriage altered her of her arrival.

With a small sigh she frowned trying to calm her mind to what was to come next. She would survive this place and return to her family.

Turning her head at the sound of the carriage door opening a hand stretched out to her. A shiver ran down her spin as a voice spoke out. A voice she had only hear in dreams. A voice she had not dreamed of hearing in this very moment.

"Princess Celesti, It's an honor to welcome you to Soleil and to be in your presence. I dreamt of this day for quiet some while."

The emperor.
