Episode 11

Lesker felt chills deep in his body. It was fear and excitement mixed together. He couldn't pinpoint what was causing such reaction as he drew nearer to the red door.

He found himself in front of the door randomly. It was strange and disconcerting but he felt a sense of familiarity while facing the door.

He would get no answer standing in front of the door so he pushed it. It opened quite easily and he went inside. Inside was a typical room but it had a regal air. He walked further and smelt a peculiar smell. It pricked at his nose and scattered his senses. It smelt like something that didn't exist but it was still there.

The source of the smell was coming from an incense pot beside a woman who lay on a couch comfortably. When he laid his eyes on her, the only word he could use to describe her was-

"Succubus" he let out unconsciously. He covered his mouth immediately and stumbled back. The woman let out a dainty laugh, one which made his groin tighten lightly.

"At first I was surprised. The audacity on you to run from me, it's astounding really...."

"I'm sorry, have we met before? I've lost my memories so I can't recall...."

She raised her hand to silence him. His instincts warned him to obey, no matter what.

"Then, I got really angry. You dare tell me you've lost your memories?! It's not your memories you've lost, it's your damn mind! If you came back in a few days, I would've forgiven you but to leave home for 8 months, you're really brave"

His breath seized all of a sudden and he began choking. As she drew closer to him, swaying her hips unconsciously as she approached, the pressure on him increased until it was hard to stand up straight. His head was bent and he was on his knees. Blood dropped his nose and his head felt faint.

She grabbed his chin and jerked his head till their eyes met. In her beautiful hazel eyes, he saw a pool of emotions. Anger, longing, sadness, guilt, disappointment, and expectation. He coughed and blood spewed on her face. She didn't flinch, just kept staring deep in his eyes.

"I'm sorry miss, I truly don't remember you. I didn't mean to hurt you or make you angry"

"You...have you decided to finally abandon me? You said we'll always be together yet you run off the first chance you get? You left our home and our children! Did you truly use me and throw me away like the others? Tell me!" She screamed at him. Tears dropped from her eyes as she screamed at him.

Finding the last vestiges of his strength, he lifted his hand to caress her face.

"Don't..be...sad...miss...I...truly...am..sorry"

"Dammit Lesker!"

With a final cough, Lesker lost consciousness. Kohra held his unconscious body and cried for what seems to be an eternity. When she finally stopped her tears, she carried his prone form and laid it on the bed. She destroyed the truth incense she had prepared and prepared to return him to where she had picked him up.

She heard a rustling sound behind her and she looked back to see Lesker sitting up, staring at her. He smiled gently and all his wounds healed in an instant.

"You know, the first time I saw you, I remember thinking you were such a succubus, seducing me with your very breath. You were effortlessly beautiful, charming me with only your existence. Seeing you again, I feel the same, even without my memories. Why then, are you sad my queen? I told you already, that I was born for you, I live for you and I'd die for you"

"You fucking idiot! If your life belongs to me, would it kill you to tell me where you're going, when you're going and why you're going?"

"The first two questions, I don't have an answer to them. The spell I created was like nothing ever seen in the universe so I didn't know exactly how it would turn out. After I completed the spell, it just activated on its own and I found myself stranded on a mountain. My powers were sealed alongside my memories. Even now, I can only maintain this form for a few minutes. After finding what I'm looking for, the spell will fade away on its own"

"What is it that you'r looking for?"

"I don't know that either. I guess I'll know when I find it"

"You took such a huge gamble and ended up on such a deserted continent?"

"It's not that deserted. It's not as good as ours but it's okay"

Kohra sighed and embraced him.

"Lesker...I'm worried about you"

"I know but I cannot control it at this point. The pull of the spell is drawing me back to my focal point. I have to return soon. I love you, my Queen"

Kohra grabbed him and kissed him until she ran out of breath. With a smile, Lesker disappeared, leaving speckles of golden and red dust in his wake. Kohra's hand bunched up in a fist and she released it.

"I hope you didn't think you're getting away that easily"
