I'm doing this fanfic because I was very interested in an idea of mine, what would happen if someone using the Black Mist met the shadow monarch, the two literally deal with the immortal undead.
The biggest difference would be that the Mist corrupts anything and the shadow monarch only takes the shadow of the deceased to serve as soldiers.
So if you have any tips there for me to put in the story just say it.

"I might as well explain my current situation." Diana thought looking at her situation at the moment, she was there in soul form floating in the middle of what appeared to be space and in front of her a large ball of light beside a roulette wheel was floating.
"Congratulations mortal, you've just been given the chance to reincarnate." The ball of light spoke and her voice resonated inside Diana's spectral head making her a little dizzy, "Wait, wait, wait! First explain to me what's going on!" Diana said waving her hands in the air.
"You died, and you're getting a chance to reincarnate now spin the wheel!" The ball of light spoke again, Diana's mind stopped for a moment as she tried to reason out what had happened before coming here, "Eh? Can't remember?" Diana muttered incredulously and realized that other than her name she couldn't remember anything.
"Spin the roulette!" The ball of light spoke again only this time there was an impatient tone in her voice and Diana ended up turning the wheel at once before asking what the hell was going on.
The roulette wheel started to spin with a little slot machine tune and spun quickly, Diana saw several familiar names to her passing by but she couldn't remember them, "Where did I already have them." She wondered and watched the wheel spin.

And the list of names went on, after several minutes the roulette wheel finally stopped at a name that Diana felt extremely familiar with, (Solo leving.) The name glowed on the roulette wheel and the light seemed to give a little sigh before speaking.
"Very well, the world has been chosen, spin the wheel again to choose your power!" The voice of the light resonated over Diana who was a little slow to turn this time, "What do you mean by power?" She asked the light trying to clear a doubt and saw the images of the roulette wheel changing to different marks, some were marks in the form of fire, others had skulls and other sacred crosses as well as demonic symbols.
"Wait, what is a demonic symbol?" Diana found herself wondering something else she knew but didn't remember, "The power you get at roulette will accompany you on your journey into your new world." The light told her to again and Diana despite being dubious and confused turned the lever again.
The noise of the slot machine returned and the machine spun crazily past hundreds, if not thousands, of options per second attracting Diana's curiosity as she placed both hands together and prayed instinctively.
"I don't know what this power is for but let something good come!" She said mentally as she maintained her prayer pose and soon the roulette wheel started to stop spinning and she started to have a little shiver of nervousness.
Slowly the roulette wheel started to stop until the final tick was heard and she stopped, Diana slowly opened her eyes and looked at the roulette wheel that stopped on top of a symbol she would never forget.
It was the symbol of a dark green flame over a chalice (I think so) and conveyed an aura of eternal death and agony, "The power of the Black Mist, great luck you have little child." The light spoke and there was the clicking noise of a finger.
"Good luck on your new journey." He said and a portal opened behind Diana, "W-Wait!" She screamed but the portal pulled her in the next moment and she lost consciousness.
