At the same time as the woman had ordered her two bodyguards to go look for any information regarding Fabian, the later was beeing directed by Lei Jian somewhere. At first Fabian had wanted to just take the token for the 'Rolling Mountains ' secret realm and go on his merry way, but Lei Jian seemed persistent to be his host after he learned that he didn't have anywhere to stay for the evening.

Fabians brows furrowed his brows as he looked at the big and majestic wooden gate before him. Numerous people passed through the street the gate was located but neither of the seemed to walk to close to it. Maybe it was because they didn't have any business entering it or maybe it was because of the two armed guards that stood on each side of it. As they approached the two guards both bowed deeply and greated Lei Jian.

"Young master, welcome!"

"At ease!" motioned Lei Jian with his hand and the two guards went on attention once again. They didn't speak any further, but Fabian could feel their cold gaze on him. His eye twitched at this as those guards were much weaker than Lei Jian, not to mention compared to him. Still, Fabian didn't speak and in fact quickly forgot about it as the wooden gate opened slowly to reveal a bustling market.

Fabian was a little taken aback as he saw the hustle and bustle inside the gate."This...

"It is our sect sanctioned market. Numerous mortals, cultivators of the sect, and even rouge cultivators by and sell here their services and goods. It is quite a plentiful and diverse market for anyone on the road of cultivation. " Lei Jian continued to explain about the history, size and operation of the market to Fabian, but the later wasn't to interested in it. It wasn't his fault though as compared to the habitats of this world that usually cultivated their immortal Qi , he was cultivating his Nen or Vital Qi as they called it here. Lei Jian also saw that Fabian wasn't really interested at all his talking, so he decided to change his strategy.

"Senior Fa Bian, is there anything that has caught your fancy? If you need anything, please don't hesitate to point it out and I'll immediately send it to you....senior...?"

Fabian suddenly stopped walking and turned his head to the right as he noticed someone looking at him. He couldn't exactly pinpoint the location, but he was sure he was beeing watched. ' Oh, this is interesting! Someone is trying to sneak around me like a fly and expects to not get squashed like one? Okay then, let's see how big of a fly you really are?'

"Stay back a little." said Fabian as he got ready to expand his En when he suddenly remembered the danger it brought.' Damn, I almost let myself wide open. It seems that I've lost some of my common sense staying in that remote island for such a long time.'

Lei Jian on the other hand was a little surprised and concerned by the rapidly changing facial expressions of the senior, but he stopped thinking about it as he sensed quite the amount of Vital Qi emanating from Fabian. Even the other cultivators around them felt like a pair of eyes were plastered on their back as Fabian used Ryu and used 20% of his Aura on his eyes. Fabians eyes seem to hold a menacing gleem as he looked around himself with greater clarity, before suddenly stopping his gaze at a cultivator who was sitting cross-legged on the ground selling some goods. Right after his eyes landed of the cultivator he felt like he was beeing scrutinized by numerous people, but that feeling disappeared as soon as it came leaving the cultivator somehwat confused.

"Good day...

"Ah,ummm good day to you to. Are you interested in buying something?" said the cultivator as he saw young man had stooped just in front of him. The cultivator looked at Fabians clothing and saw that it was definitely not someone rich but who was he to complain, he was, but a small time rouge cultivator.

"Indeed ,I am interested on something. That small crystal over there, how much does it cost?"

"Ah, the crystal you say?" the cultivator lowered his head as he looked at a thumb size, uneven, black crystal that seemed almost like an obsidian , and then raised it again to look at the face of the young man before him. Young, about 20 years old, brown eyes, and an unassuming face. Seeing this the cultivator deducted that he was a rouge cultivator as himself that had come to do some buying and selling like himself so he changed his attitude somehwat.

"The crystal, indeed it is for sale, but I really don't know what it could be used for. It looks like a piece of obsidian, but it is very hard. It's not metal as it isn't magnetic at all...in fact I really don't know what it is."

Fabian looked at the seller and a faint smile appeared on his face. " Well, neither do I, It just caught my eye .So, for how much can I buy it from you? Hopefully you won't sell it for a high price."

"Hmmm...." the seller thought about it for a while, and finally he seemed to have arrived at a conclusion. " How about two low grade Qi stones. It it a fair price for such a thing."

"Two low grade Qi stones? Hmmmm...

"Ah, if you buy it, I'll give you a 10% discount on anything else you see here. " the cultivator motioned with his hand toward the other thing's he was selling; a rusting sword, some kind of red root, and some porcelain bottles. Of course neither of the other items interested Fabian, but the problem was that he didn't have any of the so called low grade Qi stones. At most he had some silver and gold.

Fortunately for him he had a benefactor " Lei Jian, come here for a second."

"Ah, immediately...coming..." hastily approached Lei Jian, and as soon as the cultivator selling the crystal he chocked on the words he almost said. " You said that you were selling the crystal for about 2 low grade Qi stones, is that correct?"

"Ye..yes, that is correct. "

"Here are three of them then." said Lei Jian as he took two slightly shimmering stones out of the small silk sack he had on his belt. With the transaction completed Fabian took the the crystal and then both he and Lei Jian left the place. The cultivator that was still left for words had a feeling like he had just been robbed.

......

Fabian and Lei Jian continued through the market without stopping anywhere anymore, and soon arrived at the inner part of the sect. The security was much more prevalent and the aura the guards had was much more potent, bust still they were small fries. It was Lei Jian who broke the silence.

"Uhhh....senior, if you don't mind me asking, what is that thing?" hastily said Lei Jian as he immediately lowered his head. He had been unable to hold his curiosity as the strong cultivator before him was intently looking at the thing he had just bought.

Fabian stopped walking, but didn't still move his sight from the crystal. He was intrigued as when he had used Shu to enhance his vision and aura detection by moving a good amount of his Aura to his eyes, something unexpected had appeared. Under his normal vision the crystal before him was just something ordinary, but under his vision enhanced with Shu, something different appeared. A dense and crimson aura seemed to be gathered at the center of the crystal, seemingly dormant.

"This thing? Nothing much.....it's yours."

"Ah....se..senior...

Lei Jian was caught by surprise as Fabian threw the crystal at him, and Jian barely caught it.
