1 A Lion's Mouth

The First Chapter may be a little dark but this is for the most part a light hearted lemony goodness. Lemons will appear from the next chapter. This chapter is only to tie loose ends. Pyrrha may appear a bit Out of Chapter but in my story There are no One Dimensional Characters. Every One will act in a realistic manner and not like Chess Pieces for the plot of story.
Opening her eyes, the first thing Pyrrha, saw was the sleeping form of her partner. She still remembers last night, when her Crush and Partner told her about his fake transcripts. In a way she already knew that Jaune wasn't properly trained, even a blind person can see that. She thought that he must have been trained late or maybe he did train but didn't succeed because of lack of talent. She didn't mind, talent may give you an advantage but hard work is far more important. But when she heard that he was a fraud. She was Angry, she just found out that her sweet lovable partner, the only person who treated her like a normal girl, her first crush was just an illusion. Jaune may not have the most muscle but that was temporary. She had dreamed like every other girl, about her prince charming, about how she will train Jaune, the nice noodly boy into a Nice Hunky Man, someone who will always stand by her side like a true friend. About how she will help him to fulfill his dream of being a Strong huntsman and he will be so grateful that he will stop chasing after his "Snow Angel" and realize that his place is at her side(and also her bed). About how she will make him chase her( just a little bit) and then throw him on her bed and take everything from him like a Strong Woman. That's how Nikos women found and conquered their men. They weren't weak girls who threw away their self respect and chased after handsome disloyal trash, instead they will find a loving and caring boy and then train them up into Loyal Hunky Panty-Dropping Men and conquer their hearts and their body as well so that they never even think about other women.
That's how her mother and grandmother found their husbands. That was her plan of getting a partner/boyfriend/lover/future husband and father of her future children. If something is worth conquering, then you should conquer it by any means necessary. To her two things were important : Strength and Character. Instead of trying to find a guy who has both these qualities, she will find the one who has a good personality and then help them become Strong. Jaune was that plan. He was perfect. She was Pyrrha Nikos, The Invincible Girl, everything she did, she always planned ahead. And now all her dreams were shattered because the boy she put her trust into, had broken her dream world.
She was Angry at Jaune for breaking her dreams. She was just like every other teenage girl, dreaming about her Prince Charming, but Jaune had broken her dreams. Ohhh... She was definitely Angry. She knew that she was being unreasonable but she deserves to be unreasonable sometimes.
That's why when Jaune woke up she ignored him and started doing her morning routine. Ren and Nora could sense that she wasn't in a good mood and that's why they avoided her hoping that she will cool off after some time. Pyrrha didn't care, she prepared herself, took her breakfast and went towards the classroom with the rest of the team following her. Nobody said anything.
In the classroom, Pyrrha ignored the Professor Port's lecture and thought about how she could salvage her situation. She glanced towards Jaune. She could see that Jaune was depressed and that scene took every drop of anger out of her body. She wasn't going to throw Jaune to the wolves, Jaune may have stolen his way into Beacon, but he wasn't a bad person, in fact he was one of those rare people who will always use their strength to help others. The world needed more people like him. He already had the heart of a Huntsman, all he needed was physical and mental training and he will become what a Huntsman is truly supposed to be.
He gave her what she had always wanted. He never tried to manipulate her( after spending years as a celebrity , she could spot the manipulative people from a mile away). And also there is no point in reporting him. If she reported him then that will break up the team, destroy Jaune's dreams( she wasn't a heartless bitch) and waste every one's time.. Jaune may have stolen someone else's spot and it will be unfair to that person but she didn't care.
Many people will call it nepotism and unfair but they are just hypocrites. They can answer this question, "If you have to choose between the life of your mother and the lives of a thousand strangers, who will you choose ?" Jaune may have deceived her, but he did treat her like a true friend, he wasn't someone who wanted to use her fame. She cared more about her friend and partner then some nameless stranger. No, reporting Jaune will be in no one's benefit.
It will be better instead to keep quiet and train him up so that he can earn his place through hard work and become worthy of his position. Ooohhhh... She was going take out all her frustrations on him during the training. How dare he stole her heart and then lie to her. She will forgive him but he will have to earn it. By training him, she can give this world a True Huntsman who will use his power to protect people, a True Leader for her team who will sacrifice even his life for them, and also most importantly she will help Jaune to achieve his dreams And...
If he wants to submit to her and become her love-slave...ahem...her boyfriend, then that's just her reward for her dedication and hard work. Ohhhh... She can just imagine it.. Jaune's head between her legs as he shows his gratefulness to her for her understanding and patience. Okay planning first, fantasies later. She spent all her time planning her moves, ignoring everything else. By the end, all the classes were done and it was time for cafeteria.
While sitting there and ignoring everyone else, her scroll beeped. She opened it up and after seeing the message her heart skipped a beat...
" I know about Jauney boy's transcripts, Come to the empty classroom near the east wing. Don't tell anyone. - Cardin"
She panicked, if Cardin leaked the information, Jaune can face some resentment from other students. He won't be expelled, by completing the Initiation he had already earned his place, according to school rules. Jaune didn't know that because he was an extremely irresponsible boy and never read the rules( She will have to beat his every bad habit out of his body). In worst case, he will earn punishment from the staff in form of detention and homework. No, the real problem are the students, they will feel resentment against Jaune and try to hinder his growth. No, she will have to nip this problem in the bud. She quickly got up from her seat and announced to her teammates and her sister team RWBY, " I have some important work to do, please excuse me."
No one tried to stop her, they could see that she wasn't in the mood to talk today. Jaune felt extremely gulity for betraying the trust of his partner, the girl who saved his life and unlocked his aura. No, she deserved better, that's why he told her about his secret. If she wanted him to get expelled, then he won't complain. She had already done a lot for him. But he will never throw away his dream no matter what, even If he had to take his training outside the Kingdoms. He didn't jump off a cliff just to give up. Before coming to Beacon, he didn't knew much about Huntsman, but now even if he was expelled he knew that he can become a Huntsman even outside the Beacon. He could train himself in the woods by fighting Grimm, there was a great chance he could die but Jaune Arc was not a going to give up his dream. He may be a little noodley and may act like a pushover most of the time but when it came to his dreams and his friends, he was willing to jump off a cliff without aura. Jaune Arc rope-walked on the line between bravery and foolishness. Maybe after becoming a Huntsman or die trying, he will come back to his partner and his friends to beg for their forgiveness. Now only Pyrrha can decide whether he deserved to be in Beacon or not and he will accept that decision.
While on the way to her destination, Pyrrha planned for every scenario to solve this problem. She had spent her life fighting against many opponents. Spotting their weaknesses and taking advantage was instinctive for her. A True Warrior wasn't the Strongest or the Fastest one, being able to analyze every situation and creating a solution within a fraction of a second, that was the sign of a True Warrior. Pyrrha was a True Warrior. She knew that just like every opponent has a weakness, every problem has a solution. Only a patient and experienced mind can find that solution.
Cardin leaking the transcripts wasn't much big of a problem. The Beacon couldn't expel Jaune, not while the Vytal festival was so close. It would ruin their reputation. By trying to expel him, the Staff of Beacon will have to admit to the media that even an untrained civilian can enter their school, deceive their security check and complete their Initiation. That will be put a Dark mark on their Beacon's Reputation. With the Vytal tournament so close and being held in Beacon this time, every Kingdom's eyes were on Beacon, even if they tried to expel Jaune quietly, every media reporter will ask questions about the Invincible Girl's partner, they can't take that risk of being found out and ruining their reputation before Vytal festival. Even after all this, if they still tried to expel him, she can always threaten them with leaving the school. Atlas Academy or Shade will gladly take her in, even if they have to take an untrained civilian and her team along with her. Winning the Vytal tournament was more important to the Kingdoms compared to someone's fake transcripts. She would take Jaune with her, Nora and Ren would likely follow her as well. They may show some anger towards Jaune for lying to them, but they will never abadon a person who has always treated them with friendship and affection. Hell, She would rather choose to go to Vacuan Academy over abandoning her partner. Her honor and loyalty wouldn't allow her to abandon her partner. Jaune may have lied to her but he never tried to take advantage of her.
Once coming near the classroom, She stopped near the door and took a deep breath. While standing outside the room, she used her semblance in order to sense the metal inside the room. She could sense 4 different sets of armor, their weapons, the metallic door, the metal inside the wall and most importantly she could sense the metal in the shape of a extremely small camera hidden inside the room and another camera hidden inside the wall. The first camera was most likely hidden by Cardin to record whatever happened in the room. Unfortunately for him, he didn't knew about Pyrrha's semblance. Her semblance allowed her control every piece of metal around her, even the non-magnetic ones such as aluminum. With a simple manipulation of her semblance, she broke the circuit boards inside the camera and nobody noticed. Now the second camera in the wall was most likely installed by the staff. Given the fact that Beacon was filled with super powered teenagers with weapons and going through puberty, then camera surveillance system in every part of this school was a must. She knew that Beacon would never expel Jaune in order to protect their own reputation, but still it was better that there was no evidence of whatever happened in the room. In worst case scenario, if she is attacked then she can just crush Cardin's legs by manipulating his armor and then use every piece of metal inside the room including Cardin's mace to beat everyone black-n-blue. Even if they weren't wearing their armor, her semblance is strong enough to rip the metal support out of the walls and use that as a weapon to beat them around. She wasn't going to give any serious injuries, Team Cardinal may have been a team of Cowards and Bullies but they didn't deserve to get crippled. With that thought, she crushed the other camera's circuit boards as well. After mentally preparing herself, she opened the door and went inside.
"Well Well, look who decided to grace us with her presence. "
There he was, standing smugly in the room in his armor along with his over-compensating weapon, surrounded by his teammates, all of them trying to look tough. Pyrrha can see that Cardin was trying to intimidate her by bringing his weapon and his team while she was bare handed . The Overconfident fool thought that he had the advantage in this situation. Even if he went ahead and told the Headmaster, he will find himself threatened into silence in order to save the reputation of the school. She can also easily take her entire team and switch their school to another Kingdom if Headmaster tries something. If Headmaster had to choose between a team of incompetent racist bullies, average at best, pathetic excuse of huntsmen and The Invincible Girl: The candidate most likely expected to win the Vytal Tournament... Well he will most likely threaten CRDL into silence, maybe even expel them.
Cardin may act like he's the best thing in Beacon and goes around bullying those who can't fight back, but in the end he was a delusional coward who would instantly roll over when threatened by someone stronger then him. Like seriously, he was an average at best Huntsmen-in-training and one day he will have to fight Grimm outside the walls, One day he will most likely meet his match and then he will have to depend on other Huntsmen to save his life, the very same people that he's bullying today.
Every Huntsman and Huntress knew the rule, "Never fight your comrades for stupid reasons, One day your life may depend in their hands."
Even she wasn't arrogant enough to think that she will never need anyone's help. She wouldn't be surprised if one day he is attacked by a Grimm stronger than him, and abandoned by his loyal team( there's no loyalty among cowards ). After facing the reality of the world for the first time, Instead of standing on his feet and facing his death like a True Mistralian Warrior, he will most likely crawl on the ground like a pathetic worm and beg the very same people that he bullied to save his pathetic life. Pyrrha can easily picture this scenario, she had spent her life analyzing every person around her. She wouldn't be surprised if that's his future.
She had once heard a dialogue in a movie, " When people are closest to their death, that's when they show their true face." Cardin lived his life like a Weak Coward who wasted his time bullying others instead of training himself and one day he will die like a Weak Coward. After spending with Jaune, she could read her partner like a book. Jaune is brave enough to sacrifice his life for others. Physical Weakness is temporary, it can be removed with time and training but there's no solution for the Cowards who abandon their friends. Pyrrha had no respect for Cowards. But still in order to make him underestimate her and give her the advantage, she had act like a weak defenseless girl. Acting in front of people was a skill she had perfected. She slouched her back, hugged her arms and spoke in a meek voice :
"W..what do you want, Cardin? "
" I would suggest that you keep your mouth shut, Nikos. Today, I am going to say and you are going to listen. " Cardin sneered at her.
" We both know that Your wimpy partner is a fraud, and given that you haven't already reported him, you most likely want to help a fraud. Your partner stole someone's spot and you want to protect him. What would your 'fans' think about you, Ms Nikos. Hmmm.." Cardin finished with smirk looking smug.
Pyrrha wasn't afraid at all, she had already thought about every scenario. Jaune wouldn't be expelled. As for her reputation, it was the Word of Invincible Girl against the word of a No Name Racist Bully. Every student will take her side and gladly throw Cardin under the bus. But even then if Cardin thought that he can try to ruin her reputation, he clearly didn't know what happened to people who tried to throw mud at a National Treasure. She was jewel in the eyes of Mistral, The Mistralian Government will gladly silence Cardin with a few bullets instead of allowing him to disgrace their Celebrity. This delusional kid clearly didn't knew about the dark side of celebrities. Celebrities weren't naive children, they were Experienced Manipulators who used their charm and smiles to control the public. Behind every Celebrity there was a team of trained professionals who had lot of means in silencing mud throwers. International Celebrities had more than enough power to ruin someone's business with a word, they are supported by their own country and their Government will easily silence someone who tried to throw mud at their Reputation. Her own media agents had contact with shady people and had taken care of people like Cardin before. Just because Pyrrha never said anything to her Agent doesn't mean she was blind. She never liked the darker side of celebrity life but she knew that it had to be done so she just left it all to her agents, focused on her training for tournaments and acting in front of camera.
Pyrrha Nikos wasn't a name, it was a brand. There were many factions that stood behind her name : Her Country, Her Agents, Her Sponsors: People who had invested money in her name, if her name was threatened they will gladly take some steps to protect their investments. And Killing some no name kid wouldn't make them hesitate a single second. This was the dark of a International Celebrity and a National Treasure. Cardin may have his family's name but that was useless against the Might of an entire Government, hardcore businessmen who weren't afraid to dirty their hands in order to protect their investments and assassinating a kid would be a child's play for them. But she didn't want that to happen to Cardin, he was a Bully but he hadn't done anything that warranted death. Hell, even if none of the scenarios worked she can just take her team and go back to her country. Her family had more than enough money for her to live her life comfortably and that's not counting the money from tournaments and sponsors. If she had to choose between fame or friends, she would choose friends every single time because only your friends would stand at your side when you truly needed them. She can train Jaune by herself and gain the experience by going to the woods under the care of experienced Huntsmen. Even without her fame, she can easily become someone's bodyguard or Pyrrha and her team can make money by taking missions. No one cared about your education if you were competent enough to kill Grimm. The only reason she was listening to Cardin was because she wanted to know what he wanted from her.
After bragging some more about what he can do with that information, Cardin came to the important topic, " As I said Nikos, I can easily destroy your partner's career before it starts. But if you want to protect your partner and your fame, there's one thing you can do." Cardin finished with a malicious smile and his team chuckled behind him.
" All you have to do is to take off your school uniform and show us your beautiful body. That's all, once you do that, you can wear your clothes again and we can forget this ever happened. You can go back to Jauney boy, no one will ever know and I'll never bother Jauney boy ever again. Buuutttt... if you don't do that, well... I'll have to go to the teachers and tell them about our secret, I might even go to the media and tell them about how you tried to protect a fraud. You will lose your fans and your partner. But let's not do that, just fulfill my only wish and I'll never bother you again. " Cardin finished gently with a smile.
Pyrrha knew that he was trying to manipulate her, making her think that this will be a one time thing and then everything will go back to normal. But what he didn't know was that Pyrrha wasn't a fool, she was a bit naive and shy when it came to friends but when it came to Manipulative Predators, she had a lot of experience. She had spent years surrounded by people like that . Allowing them to take even one single advantage would lead to a downward spiral until she hit rock-bottom. No, she wasn't going give into a single demand. He was a disease, with he will into the entire body. She knew that he will most likely use his hidden Camera(that she had destroyed silently) to record everything and blackmail her more... Until she was nothing more than a toy for him and his team. The thought filled her with dread, sickness, disgust but after all these feelings went away there was only one thing... WRATH...
This pathetic piece of... Trash thought that he could blackmail her and defile her... She thought that that Cardin was just a Bully but now she could see that he and his team were worse.
Cardin wasted away his time bullying others instead of training. He most likely wasted away his earlier years bullying those weaker than himself or using numbers against those who were stronger than him. Calling him a Huntsman would be an insult to every Huntsman of Remnant.
Cardin used his strength to hurt those weaker then him and never trained to push his limits, only passing by through his family's influence. A pathetic piece of trash who has to blackmail a woman just to get laid. Calling him a Man would be an insult to Every Man.
But now, she could see that he wasn't even worthy of being called Human or Faunus. For people like Cardin, there's only one category: Trash. He exists only to spread misery, stink and diseases to the rest of the society. Before coming into this room, She was going to be lenient with him, she thought that he can still change. But now she can see that he wasn't worthy of Mercy. If Today she took a step back and let him go , then he will most likely try to blackmail her through some other way. Maybe his next target would be Ruby, Nora...her friends.
If instead of her, it was Ruby in her place, Innocent Ruby who do anything to protect her first friend. This Trash would've taken her innocence and no one would've ever known. No, No, No... She dreaded to think what would've happened if it was someone else in her place. Some girl who wasn't mentally strong like her, who didn't had experience against manipulators. Even after graduating Beacon, he will most likely try to manipulate some other girl. Maybe he has already done this before, right now she had to take every single possibility into consideration. Maybe, he and his team will take advantage of some helpless woman outside the Kingdoms, where there is no law. No, she will have to take him down today by any means necessary. No mercy. Her entire life she had shown smiles to everyone no matter who. But even the most harmless girl will turn into a raging animal when threatened by this scenario.
This Overconfident Delusional trash had never experienced the wrath of a Vengeful Woman. Cardin wasn't worthy of his mother's womb. He was a threat to every woman of this world, even worse than Grimm and that's why she'll remove him today. Woman weren't weak creatures who would just roll over when blackmailed. They were capable of vindictiveness and hatred just like Men. They were even more vicious then Men when it to protecting what they loved.
She instantly created a plan in her mind taking every possibility into consideration. After a fraction of a second, she attacked.
With a simple use of her semblance, she manipulated his Mace and used it to hit every member of CRDL in one huge swing, all the while they were standing around looking extremely confident. That will give her some time, that left only Cardin. She instantly pulled his entire armor and used his metal gloves to attack her ownself.
Her hair was messed up, her clothes were ripped off a bit, she even weakened her aura enough so that she can get some bruises on her face. All the while Cardin was confused, scared and still dazed from the hit to his head. He thought that she was defenseless. She will either follow his demands or she will attack them. His team would be enough to take her down if she attacked him. She was bare-handed and without armor while His team was armed and armored. After beating up her a little bit, he will try to blackmail her once again by using the recording of her attacking his team(after removing his own words Of Course). In any case, she will be the one losing. He thought that she was a weak willed girl, who will roll over when threatened with Blackmail. But this woman wasn't the smiling shy girl that he saw everyday.
No, this was an Raging Animal , willing to hurt even her own body in order to win. This was extremely out of character.
What Cardin didn't know was that no matter how nice a person is, they will turn into animals when their love is threatened. All you have to do is push the right buttons. A Loving Mother would gladly turn into a Murderer to protect her child's life. By threatening her friends, her partner, and her innocence, Cardin had pushed every Wrong button of The Invincible Girl. With fame, there came a lot of power and today he had tried to blackmail an International Celebrity.
Once Pyrrha was certain that she looked like she was attacked, she then focused onto a specific part of the Armour. Every Man who ever partakes in any physical exercise has to wear one specific protection. Especially a Huntsman, he has to protect a specific area of his body by a metal covering: Crotch Guard. Before they could get up, Pyrrha focused her semblance on to the Crotch Guards of every member of Team CRDL and... Squeezed.
A person who uses his hands to hurt innocents doesn't deserve to have his hands. That was the rule of Ancient Mistralian Culture. Men were taught to defend their Country and Women were taught to defend their Homes. There was no place for weakness, Not in her Culture . Cardin and his team didn't deserve to call themselves Men, that's why she took it away from them. Even Aura can't heal this much damage.
Once she was certain that there was no chance of healing, she ignored the screaming pieces of trash and pulled Cardin's Mace towards herself. She activated the dust particle embedded in the weapon, ripped her clothes some more and then levitated the Mace into the air and brought it down extremely fast towards her. In a few moments, someone will hear the screams of Team CRDL and come to investigate the room. Her last thought before complete darkness was pride for having protected her teammates, friends and her beloved partner.
I know that many people will think that Cardin is bashed here but just think : if a person can Bully other people in broad daylight then imagine what kind of things he is willing to do when Nobody's Watching. I have added some realism to Cardin's character in order to show what an Arrogant Racist Bully will do if he had blackmail on a girl. As for Pyrrha, She is a Bloodsport Fighter based on the legend of Achilles. Any Normal Girl will not hesitate to take these steps if she is threatened with a situation like this. Pyrrha may be shy towards friends only because she has no experience but against a predator she'll show that there is nothing more dangerous than a vindictive woman. Especially, An International Celebrity who has fought in Bloodsport and has been surrounded by Ruthless Businessmen her entire life. This is the Dark Side of Celebrity Life. This Pyrrha has an animalistic wrathful side just like everyone else.
"There is no pact between Lions and Men." Just because a Character is Female and acts like a Nice person doesn't mean that they will roll over when pushed into a corner.
