The title Pyromaniac was the strongest title Ron had currently. Even the apex human couldn't compare. It wasn't easy to get this tilte in his previous life. Even in his strongest state, he had suffered countless years of torture, to finally be free of the pain. The system at that time had deemed it an impossible task, but he finished with his willpower and drive.

It granted complete immunity and control over any flames he encounters. No matter how high level it might be. And so he absorbed the devil's HellFire.

When the explosion occured, he knew that the events had transpired the same way they did in the previous timeline. The soul explosion was strong enough to decimate the town above and everything in a huge radius.

The force of the explosion was blocked by the devil slayer, but the flames themselves would've burned anyone else to cinders. But it encountered Ron; the Pyromaniac, completely immune to the fire and even capable of controlling it.

While Ron was busy checking the changes to his title.. the others were still reeling in shock from the sudden anticlimactic turn of events. The flames had stopped in place at a single command, then gathered in the masked person's palm and vanished completely.

If the aftermath wasn't so clearly visible, they'd have thought they had hallucinated it all. The devil slayer particularly was quite bewildered. He knew, no human could control hellfire as it was exclusive to the devils only. He also became intrigued about the masked person who seemed so weak, that he could be blown by his sneeze yet he could accomplish such a feat.

Still wounded and burned up, the devil slayer walks up to Ron, feigning nonchalance.

"Hey kid, Impressive feat there." He praises him first to get him to open up. Afterall which youngster wouldn't like praise.

"It was nothing much." Ron calmly responds. He'd have ignored him but remembering that he needed something, he responds.

"What's your name, kid?How about you join the devil slayers?" The devil slayer asks Ron eagerly.

'There have been fewer recruits as of late. I should get him to our side.' he thinks to himself while looking at Ron. He shows off a bit by making poses and showing of his armour and sword, while grinning and asking with his eyebrows' how's this'....

[A chain quest detected(Epic.)... Would you like to continue?]

Ron ponders for a bit... It seems this guy wants to recruit him. Ron ignored his antics and responds.

"I'm Ron, what's your name, senior?."

" Heh, Good! we got a polite one. You can call me Spero. So how about it Ron? Wanna join my team?"

"I'll think about it, for now I'm busy with certain things." Ron responds showing a reluctant expression.

"Alright kid, if you ever wanna join come find me at our headquarters." Saying that he throws a Silver token with a sword drawn on it. The token gives off some kind of aura that is hard to detect.

[Chain quest initiated...]

[Quest: Devil Slayer's Recruitment.

Details: The devil slayer seems to have acknowledged your potential and wants to recruit you to his cause.

- First Task: Find the Devil slayer headquarters.]

Ron catches the token and keeps it.

He has got some business with them, so he didn't refuse him outright. It seems they were interested in his ability to control HellFire.

The devil slayer just up and vanished like that after handing him the token, not even sparing anyone else a glance.

.....

Ron finally has time to take a breather, he has been on edge because of the sudden events that keep springing up out of nowhere.

He needs time to gather his thoughts and make plans for the future.

He checks his status and everything else. He still hasn't explored his class and it's possibilities. Nor has the mask tried to do anything.

So he leaves it as it is for now. He glances at Fin and Anabelle still hugging eachother while looking at him. He glances away and walks towards the door. Leaving them there, he'll not be traveling with them as Fin was a trouble magnet. Which he didn't need at the moment.

Ron has now finished his first objective, he needed to be atleast at level 10 to get out of the beginners town. It was a safety net for players but he didn't need it. He had reached level 11 and the silvermoon kingdom was the closest kingdom to here, so he chose to travel there.

....

..

After a while Ron had arrived at the town gates. There was a large wooden gate to go out of the town. The carriages were parked and cost 1 gold coin. It was a hefty price. Because the current players would only be using some bronze and silver coins. While Ron didn't need to grind for equipment and money. He had his inventory and the things in it, were enough to last for a while.

He left the aftermath of the demonic cult incident for fin and Anabelle to handle. It'd be a hassle to do all that. And they seemed eager to help others so he simply left them to their devices.

Ron paid the driver.

"To silvermoon kingdom."

The driver replied.

"Alright sir, it'll take about two hours so bear with the shaking."

Ron nodded and sat down, while the carriage started moving. The horses neighed and the driver used his whip.

"Hyaaaa." The carriage got out of the gates and onto the road to the huge kingdom walls.

The portals would only open when the players average level was almost ten. And Ron didn't have the patience to wait for others.

He was already level 11 and it was time to do something about the curses.

"The silvermoon kingdom...Vampires huh!." Ron recalled the info about the silvermoon kingdom.

It was a human Kingdom, in alliance with certain vampire clans, who had been here long before the humans arrived.

The alliance kept them form antagonizing each other.

The vampires were a race that had given up the supremacy wars and hence all their rights. Their territory had been anexed by other races. Some vampires were enslaved while others holding enough power and deterrence to form alliances like those in the silvermoon kingdom. While others became rogue wanderers... Their history was tragic enough..yet..

The vampires held great power in this kingdom, even the name of the Kingdom was named after the vampire Queen, Aura Silvermoon.

Ron needed to pay the vampires a visit, although the chances for hostilities were quite high, he didn't care nor could he. These curses were currently holding him back, and being marked by both temples was the biggest problem.

He had chosen the mask, because of its skill the Heaven Deceiving veil, it'd protect him from the marks. Although those people can't pinpoint his location, but if he was unlucky enough to run close by any of those people, he'd definitely be eliminated.

So he needed to get to the vampires. This particular clan had their sacred treasure intact. And he'd heard it was a potent cure for curses. Although it was only rumored as such. He still needed to check for himself.

"I'll need their sacred treasure... Guess it's time to steal.." Ron mutters as the carriage passes through a forest towards the kingdom.
