The real difference between realms

Shi was analyzing the battlefield like his father told him to do, he could see some familiar faces but most people were just clenching their weapons and watching the fight between two-spirit awakening cultivators.

There were only two people fighting beside the two sect masters. A middle-aged man clad in a black outfit from the Blossom Lotus sect and an old man from the Evil Cloud sect. Shi could see their weapons clash from time to time.

Using his celestial eyes to watch the fight of Meng'er and Evil Cloud. Shi could see the difference between a Body Refining cultivator and a Spirit Awakening one.

Meng'er would use her black square sword to control the flow of Evil Cloud attacks with her right hand and with the left hand, she would make hand seals and control the little lotuses making Shi stunned.

He could see those little lotuses blooming were made of pure energy and she could use them to dominate the terrain or to explode it and this was just to attack, if she was using it for defense she could make them orbit her body.

But the way Evil Cloud fought was more of Shi like, he would use his cloud arts in a way to make his moves unpredictable and smooth. Shi couldn't see his moves at all, he could only analyze them from the way Meng'er react.

"Do you see the difference between you and them? It's in their spirit qi control, they can transform it and send it out of their body, the body refining cultivator can only hold qi and use it inside its body or on a spirit rune, that's why you can use weapon and tools but can't make alchemy or use arts like them" Long Shi explained the basic difference between the two realms as they kept looking at the fight.

Every time Meng'er got an advantage and exploded one of her little red lotuses, Evil Cloud's little clouds would absorb the damage for him. That was one of the big reasons the sects are in a deadlock.

Suddenly the course of the battle changed, Evil Cloud stopped his tracks and with a smile, he said in a provocative tone "Why don't you take this widow robe off and marry me Meng'er? We can easily overcome Ming Luo city and become the strongest force in this valley".

Meng'er replied with a 'Hump' coming from her nose as she narrowed her eyes trying to understand why her enemy stopped at this time, she couldn't see the state of the battlefield, in a fight of that level any distraction was enough to be killed.

"Look at this kid" Long Shin got out from the circlet and then shouted "HEY ARE WE GOING TO SURRENDER? WHY THE ELDERS FROM OUR SECT ISN'T FIGHTING THE ONES FROM EVIL CLOUD SECTS? BESIDES WHERE IS THE YOUNG MASTER YUN AND THE STORM CLOUDS?"

Almost having a heart attack Shi hid as fast he could behind the giant tree.

Meng'er and the others narrowed their eyes at Long Shin shout, the disciples who were watching the fight also started to think about his words taking a glance at the elders, and at the enemy camp, they started to become anxious.

"OLD MAN ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?" he shouted in his head, Long Shin who was swimming in Shi's mind let out a laugh and replied, "Haha, kid do you think the battlefield is a joke?".

"Should I go inside and save her?" he started to think about it, he was feeling his sixth sense warning him again, but he was in the middle of a battlefield so he couldn't make his head if it was about the tent or the entire situation.

He closed his eyes and started to chant inwardly the <Vipassana> and after some time as his mind got empty, so he started to cut a hole big enough for him to enter.

Entering the tent he got a better sight of the inside, it was full of luxury, a table full of meat and fruits, dozens of cushion chairs around the table, and carpets made of beast fur adorned the entire tent.

Walking his way inside the tent he slowly looks everywhere before getting at Cuifen, it was impossible for them to just let her alone inside this big tent, it looked like a big shiny bait.
