I'm In Bad Term With The Sun!

The crowd already dispersed and start talking about how great the bloodline awakening was. The excitement was evident on every youngster face. Many people congratulate Lindan Trio for their excellent performance. As for Lysa, she only cares about whether she could test her blood on Blood Monolith or not. Although Elder Tonpa already told her that the Monolith needs to rest, she still had a glimmer of hope to be able to use it.

"Uncle, can I test my blood on Blood Monolith?" Lysa innocently asked.

Hearing Lysa request, Elder Tonpa startled for a moment. If it were another person, he would immediately tell that person, "In your dream!" but since it was a mysterious lady who saved Yanto, he bit hesitant. Since Yanto value can be considered one year worth Blood Monolith rest, Lysa request was not overboard. Anyway, there is still one quota available from the previous batch; hence Lysa request could be granted.

Seeing the conflicted look on Elder Tonpa face, Lysa immediately waved her hand, "If the quota can't be gifted, it's fine."

To be honest, Lysa didn't feel the need to awaken her bloodline urgently. She was even suspicious the past her already awaken its bloodline, but the current her couldn't grasp her ability yet. That's why she needed Blood Monolith to confirm whether it's true she already awakened or not. But it seems to obtain the quota was a bit difficult. Maybe the only solution for her was searching for another monolith or waiting for her memories to come back for unknownst time.

"Your request was not impossible." Elder Tonpa speaks after much consideration.

"Really?" Lysa eyes immediately sparkled upon hearing that.

Elder Tonpa smiled, "Don't be happy yet, because I need other elder consent."

"It's more than enough." Lysa nodded enthusiastically. Lysa was not genuinely expecting her request would be accepted by Elder Tonpa, so hearing that Elder Tonpa would bring the matter upon other Elder, she felt delighted.

"Thank you, Uncle!" Lysa sincerely thanked Elder Tonpa.

"Haha, don't mind it, you already did good enough by rescuing one of our Bloodline User."

Lysa merely smiled at the compliment.

"By the way, you still didn't have a place to stay, right?"

Lysa nodded her head. The reason she agreed to Elder Tonpa proposed earlier was because she in need of a place to stay. Now being reprimanded by him, Lysa wouldn't refuse his offer and gladly accept it.

"Let's head somewhere. I knew a quiet place that suitable for you." Elder Tonpa immediately set off toward a particular direction, followed by Lysa.

Lindan trio exchanged glances before glancing curiously at Lysa back.

"Did the two of you knew her?" Obviously the person who got asked was Yiying and Hugo.

"I never saw such beauty at here before, but from their interactions, they seem close enough." Hugo answered.

"Hmmm..." Lindan pondered with his finger propped his chin. No one knows what's on his mind.

Lysa who calmly followed Elder Tonpa, didn't know that her close interaction with Elder Tonpa causing many people to become more curious regarding her identity.

Elder Tonpa initially wants to introduce Lysa to a few important places of Lewin City, but Lysa shook her head at his suggestion because her head grew dizzier each time passed. Her previous blurry vision was worsening, and now she could barely see the thing in front of her. Noticing the lady beside her getting paler, Elder Tonpa quickly brought her to an unused guest house.

Arriving at the doorsteps of the guest house, Lysa stopped her stride and turned to Elder Tonpa gratefully, "Thank you, Uncle. I'll manage the rest."

"Are you sure?" Elder Tonpa doubtly asked. He could sense that Lysa condition wasn't in a healthy state and most likely gone sick.

"Yes, it's okay. I'll just rest for a while, and my body will become fit as before." Lysa smiled reassuring to him.

"Okay then. If you need anything, just contact me. I'm staying in the house beside you."

Lysa didn't refute his kind offer and quickly nodded her head, "I'm going first."

The moment Lysa went inside the house, her dizziness slowly weakening. Her previous hazy vision gradually turned into normal.

"What's happening?" Lysa was bewildered by the sudden change that occurred to her.

Clearly, she was almost falling ill earlier, but now she could feel that her state was in a better condition than the first time she tasted blood. How could it be? Lysa then surveyed the room to find something that stimulates her condition. But after a minute scanning, she couldn't find anything strange.

However, she found one thing that astonishes her more. Before, she didn't notice at all. Only after she looked it carefully, she realized that there is no source of light. Then how could she manage to see the insides of the room clearly?

Throughout her journey, she finds her body getting more and more mysterious. From the blood thing and now an ability to see in the dark thing. Well, not she minds it, but every person has desires, including Lysa who was becoming more curious regarding her identity.

She got an idea for what's occurring to her recently, but she needs one more experiment to confirm whether its true or not. Without hesitation, Lysa strode toward the windows house and opened it.

The window was tainted black, so previously Lysa barely could see any sunlight. Presently the sun was at its peak, so the moment Lysa opened the window, the sunlight quickly landed on her place. Her vision immediately blackened by the sudden light, Lysa even almost panicked because of the blinding light.

Sweat started to form on her face indicating that her current condition doesn't look good as it seems. Dizziness slowly crept up on her head, but before it continued, Lysa swiftly closed the window.

Lysa vision gradually returned to its normal condition, but her breath still at a rapid pace. A joy expression cannot be concealed from its sparkled eyes. Evidently, Lysa was excited because she resolved one of her mysteries.

"I'm in bad term with sun." Lysa muttered softly.

Yes! She was afraid of sun! She didn't know if some people also had this kind of illness, but she was confident that her own body rejects anything from the sun, especially that sunlight. She almost fainted earlier because of that light.

A smile started slowly crept up on Lysa face. This was like a major breakthrough for her. She had always been curious about her identity, and now she is successfully discovering one of its mysteries.

"HAHAHA" She couldn't help but let out a loud laugh because of satisfaction, but her laughter slowly turns into a sobbing one.

"Who am I? And where's my family?" She mumbled between her sobbing. Even a powerful woman like her felt a little afraid of staying in a strange place like this. She knew no one and can rely on no one.

After venting out all her frustrated emotions for a while, Lysa feels her heart a bit lighter. She knew that her parent must be searching for her tirelessly, and she knew that there is this person that would look for her in his own way. With that reassuring thought, Lysa eyelids grew heavy and soon, she went to dreamland while hugging both her knees.
