Later that evening, Ben was on his way for an interview with a popular Youtuber who reached out to him. He didn't want to go at first but his PR team thinks this will help his publicity as the Youtuber was also a social media influencer.

On his way for the interview, Ben decided to stop by the police to file a complaint about his wife not being back home for the past twenty-four hours.

He already disposed of her body, he couldn't go on with the plan of implicating Mason with her murder because there was not enough time to do that. The police seemed to be watching him too closely.

"Good evening Mr. Franklin, we were just about to give you a call," the male detective who had come to his house the previous day said when he saw Ben walk into his office.

"Well, I came to you instead," Ben said with a smile. "May I?" He asked pointing at the chair that was across the detective's desk.
