285 Emily In Rehab

Emily sat on her bed staring at herself in the mirror she was holding. She looked so different, her hair was shorter because she had cut it when she was having withdrawal and couldn't stand its length. She couldn't pretty much stand anything at that time.

It was a dark and difficult time for her. She had to shut out her family and asked that no one visited her until she came out of it. Now she was way better and gradually getting through each day without carving drugs.

Her skin no longer looked pale, it was plumper, and her eyes were no longer sullen. She was making progress and she felt proud of herself.

There is a small knock on her door. "Come in," Emily called out, putting the mirror away.

"Your sister is here to see you," Nurse Anita said with a wide smile as she came in. She has been exceptionally helpful to Emily's recovery process since Emily moved into the facility.
