While Acedia our "handsome" mc decided to turn his life upside down, another guy did something that turned his life upside down.

He "accidentally" fell from the top of the Burj Khalifa. How did that happen? Well, u see our dear Marc did some betting and lost a lot of money. His debt with some questionable creditors increased and he found himself falling from Burj Khalifa.

While falling there were a lot of things Marc thought about. The only thing that he truly regretted in life was that he never rested. He was working all the time and never took any time for himself. To get some color into his workaholic life marc started betting. At first, he only bet a couple of dollars, but he got addicted to gambling and he spent more and more money. He should have just quit his job instead of relaxing through betting. In the last seconds before he hit the ground he thought about what he should have done. He always dreamed to open a pub. He should have done that instead of gambling. Welp nothing to change now and then suddenly fricking truck Kun arrived and killed him mid-air.

Now our Marc before the pearly gate and had a ton of questions floating in his mind like: "Was that fucking truck-kun?" or "Where tf am I?", but he couldn't think about that for long, because some ugly dude shoved him away. But Marc didn't like that at all, btw he looked like the average isekai mc. He retaliated immediately and sucker-punched him. Our little demon tumbled and fell. This doesn't sound dramatic at all, but Heaven is pretty high up in the air and Acedia's power level wasn't higher than the average human. Actually, it was lower...

Welp and that's how the sin of sloth fucking died.

Because a demon coming to heaven was a pretty rare occasion, a lot of angels were already in front of the pearly gates and were pretty shocked. Now people who didn't know the importance of the bearers of the seven deadly sins would be neutral to this situation. But the seven deadly sins are like smurfs if the smurf of happiness dies happiness in the world dies. So in conclusion, if one of the sins dies their sin dies. Aww, man.

One may now say nice no lazy assholes exist anymore, but that sets off the balance in the omniverse, and that's pretty bad. (who would have guessed)

Marc looked smugly and murmured something like: "Serves that asshole right."

While the Angeles just looked at Marc weirdly. So Marc said: "Hi my name is Marc. What's up?"

An angel just replied to that with "Dude you killed Acedia, do you even know what that means? God will fucking kill you."

[Wait god will be furious at me aww man, but I thought demons and angels would have a hate relationship]

Suddenly a big explosion happened and a man appeared with a long gray beard, a gold chain around his neck, golden earrings, and black sunglasses, all in all, that dude looked like a rapper with a failed career.

Suddenly the guy started spitting lines in a raspy voice:

"Yo, I'm the big G and I don't know how to flee"

"Aye Acedia just passed, his life was like in the media"

"Were you the one who killed Acedia, cause he was in my mafia"

Marc was looking completely disturbed at the man and just thought:

[Who the heck is that guy?]

"I'm God unforgettable, unsubmittable/I go by G now, just one syllable"

[Holy shit, wait can he read my mind]

"You killed Acedia, so you are now Acedia"

[What the hell does that even mean]

"Acedia is the name of one of the sins and holds the power within"

"Even if one dies and can not be revived his killer gets the prize"

"The name Acedia will be given to you, to rebalance the universia"

[Is that even a fricking word?]

"My crib gets destroyed if the balance is not there, so u will now be Acedia to turn into an influence to be reckoned with"

"Bye-bye New Acedia, I will now Isekai ya"

A portal opened up and sucked Marc/Acedia in, the poor guy couldn't even say anything.

After that, the G left and the angels were still standing there and one of them explained to one of the junior angels what in the name of the christ just happened.

"There were 2 problems first of all, the sin of sloth Acedia died. Acedia though is more of a title and the omniverse needs a sin of sloth/Acedia or the omniverse would get out of balance and that would be pretty bad. The second problem was the "former Acedia", he decided to turn his life around and as a sin of sloth you can't really do that so, he was automately stripped away from his title and a random successor who's only goal is to be lazy in his next life was chosen. Then after that god did his magic and manipulated "former Acedia" into pushing marc and that gave him a reason to give the Acedia title/name to someone else aka the successor without offending the "Demons". This way the Omniverse would be safe without there being another holy war between angels and demons.

The only reaction of the junior was: "What in the name of Christ is that shit! Way too complicated!"
