Reminiscing The Past

I was on the balcony, staring at the busy streets. From the countless buildings nearby, and to the skyline overhead. I was looking at all of it, but my mind wasn't registering all of them. It was filled with thoughts of the past.

I felt someone approaching and did not try to turn, for I already know who it was, even without looking. Keith then wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. It was Thursday, so technically, we both have work. But I decided to stay at home and recuperate more, just as Katrina and Keith told me to. Keith also made up his mind to not go to work as well and stayed with me instead.

It was making me happy. Seeing as how he was still so worried about leaving me alone, even though I had already reassured him that I am completely fine now. Well, not completely. I was still a little in denial about everything. It was all too unexpected.
