[Some time before the shit went down]

A man in a pseudo-military uniform stood in front of the men in black.

"Okay, folks. You know the drill. Einstein will remain here to monitor the situation as usual," Einz hummed and leaned back on the seat, saying an inaudible 'roger that'-- 

"The alpha team will perform search and destroy as soon as the recon team gets back. The elite will then join the fray and aid the young master, " he announced, all the while appearing formidable.

"Honestly, why are we talking as if we are in the military or something," Jacob mumbled almost jokingly.

"Because we are," Ella rebuked with a roll of her eyes.

Jacob bit the bait, "We are? I didn't know that…"

"Jacob, please shut your mouth," Einz groaned.

He has not taken proper sleep since two days ago and he felt really irritated right now. He just wants to finish the mission as soon as possible so he could get that precious sleep he's being deprived of.
