Aura Induction: Reverse Hallucination

"Are you Jyorta Bone?" An old Esper of the Bone Family, someone part of the senior generation to even Jyovic Bone turned around, gazing at the teenager that stood before him.

"Yes, Sir!" Jyorta saluted in response, seeing no other option to reply. The other party was older than his grandfather and was the sole person from the previous generation that was still alive.

And, he had been a retired Ground Controller all along, sporting a mysterious identity. He was also the head researcher in the creation of Bone Devour. Even though Jyovic Bone had entered the limelight for its creation, he had only been the head of the project.

Most of the grunt work, research, and the driving direction of the creation of the Unranked Skill was done by this man. But, he was a weird individual, living in solitude in a research lab of the family present in Sector 9, 10th Ring.

If not for the severity of the situation, he wouldn't have arrived at the Bone Family Mansion in the 7th Ring.

The moment Jyorta made eye contact, he shuddered, feeling as if the other party was capable of seeing through all his secrets. 'This feeling…!'

He was alarmed before understanding something, inhaling a sharp breath in shock.

Deific Inference!

The old man before him actually possessed the Unranked Skill of the Light Family and had comprehended it to an alarming level. That was why Jyorta felt the awful feeling that he experienced under Rhachis Ancestor Light.

'Just…who's this man? How come he possesses the Unranked Skill that is exclusive to the Light Family?' Jyorta wondered, watching the old man turn his head to continue staring at the bone cocoon.

"Give a try," He spoke, alarming everyone at the location.

"But sir, Jyorta Bone is only an Area Controller. He's inexperienced! If he messes with our intricate arrangement, then the entity within would escape." Another Esper interjected, stating in a flurry.

"There's no harm," The old man said casually, shutting up the others. He then gazed at Jyorta, raising one eyebrow, "Well, isn't that why you have come here? Go on, have an attempt at it."

Jitu Bone, the old man who shared an awkward status in the Bone Family. During Jyovic Bone's rise, he seemed the closest to becoming the next Family Head. But an accident wiped out his entire family line, making him the sole survivor.

Without a family line, he lost the qualifications to become the Family Head. After that, once Jyovic Bone took charge as the Family Head, he suppressed Jitu Bone, confining him to research, preventing him from interacting with the rest of the Family Elites.

For some reason, Jitu Bone too never resisted the suppression, going along with Jyovic Bone's whims. With Jyovic Bone's disappearance—and possible betrayal in the eyes of others—recently, adding onto the fact that Hubert Bone too had vanished, it caused the situation in the Bone Family to become messy.

Two of their three Transformers had vanished with the excuse of being on a long-term mission. Whether it was the truth or not, they were experienced with the way Central Command did things, understanding that the likelihood of Hubert and Jyovic Bone ever returning to Marble City was close to zero.

And now that Jitu Bone had returned, most of the higher-ups of the family were unsure as to what they had to do. After all, Havita Bone's influence was grandly lacking. She wasn't respected much in the family, despite her status as a Transformer.

As Jyorta was unaware of the turbulent politics brewing in his family, he nodded in excitement and gently placed his hand on the bone cocoon, feeling a vast, inexhaustible presence emanating from within.

He didn't attempt anything and just let loose his senses, feeling the presence within more and more.

'It feels like a rock, a mountain, and at the same time like a world, a blimp on our world.' He felt a myriad of sensations from the presence within, soon noticing that there was something amiss, stating, "I feel like the entity is hibernating in preparation for an evolution."

"And, how do you suppose it is evolving?" Jitu Bone asked, expressing no change on his face.

"By absorbing our presence scattered throughout this aura personification," Jyorta muttered, feeling a stream underground that was flowing into the bone cocoon, unblocked by it.

"What do you think? Is this change beneficial or harmful to us?" Jitu Bone asked next.

"I…don't know…" Jyorta shook his head, "I am unable to feel anything beyond this."

"Well, good work anyway." Jitu Bone said.

Suddenly, a voice resounded in Jyorta's ear. It was Jitu Bone's, "You are Vaika's successor, right? Use Aura Induction on it to establish a connection before erecting a reverse hallucination. You'll see something fairly interesting."

Even though his words didn't make much sense at the start, suddenly, Jyorta could feel thoughts clashing in his mind before an answer was derived, alarming him as he looked at Jitu Bone, concealing his shock.

Mind Path!

Jitu Bone had subtly influenced his mind to direct his train of thought in such a way his previous experiences clashed with one another to generate a new field of thought, allowing him to perceive something different.

'H-How?' Even though he was confused, upon seeing that Jitu Bone was casually looking at the bone cocoon, Jyorta did as told, seeping his psychic arm through the bone cocoon before activating his Aura Induction.

But, he didn't induce a hallucination into the entity but reversed the cause and effect. In Aura Induction, he established a path, making it seem like the entity within was placing him in a hallucination.

But, as to what the hallucination dictated, he was the one in control.

Basically, in this manner, he was making the entity show its memories to him through a hallucination. It was such an advanced application that he was surprised that he pulled it off.

The moment he thought of that, his surroundings changed as Jyorta noticed that he was inside a kitchen, stirring up the batter before pouring it onto a pan. Echoing behind him were sounds of children squabbling, the voice familiar.

But, even though he wished to turn around, he was unable to do so. After all, he was in a hallucination, only able to see everything that played out passively.

"Dear, I'm hungry. How long do I have to wait?" A familiar voice resounded from behind as Jyorta—the entity whose point of view he was sharing—turned around.

His mouth opened as a feminine voice resounded, "A couple more minutes. Jeez, your patience is even lower than your children, Hubert."

Updates will be a bit erratic for this and next week. But, I'll upload all backlog chapters by Jan end.
