A Rather Regular Day

Details about the Unranked Skill, Marble Sonata was known to the general public. After all, everyone would have stared at the walls protecting the city innumerous times. So, they were aware that it was Psychic Ancestor Marble's Unranked Skill.

It was not to mention the battlefield where the Graduation Ceremony was conducted. Every student would have seen their respective military's Sky Controller belonging to the Marble Family setting up the battlefield right before their eyes. So, knowledge about Marble Sonata was commonplace.

Though, except for the related parties, everyone else didn't know of any details beyond what they witnessed through sight, i.e, the colours of the marble created by Espers at different Tiers.

Plenty of their products were typically created by Espers with Marble Sonata. After all, production costs were cheaper, the precision of the item's quality was hard to be matched even by the most sophisticated of machines, and finally, the durability within the sophistication.

Everything meant the items created using Marble Sonata had the highest quality and material integrity.

Jyorta went around, looking through the various marble gift boxes before picking up a plain blue one. It was created by a Wave Controller. But, there was no design on it. So, it was the cheapest of all blue marble gift boxes.

Paying the money with a swipe of the credit card, Jyorta returned home, locking himself up in his room as he stared at it, slowly unleashing his two psychic arms as he created a construct. He continued to change and modify it until its design was complex and looked spectacular.

The design he picked was a landscape of the Nilgiris, viewed from its peak. It was a scene from his previous life. He had picked it because mount Nilgiris was now Circle Zero—the Central Command. It had long since been modified by Psychic Ancestor Marble to serve as the city's core, having long lost its natural beauty and symbolism.

So, he wished to showcase a scene from when it was before the Frenzy/Wisdom Parasites changed the entire world. Finally, after correcting the construct to the minute detail, Jyorta took in a deep breath as the blue figure of his past life within the blue soul opened its mouth, unleashing a jet-black ink.

His psychic arms turned jet-black as Jyorta watched the surface of the box now possess the detailed engraving of his construct. As it was marble created by a Wave Controller, his corrosion didn't affect it too much, allowing him to carefully engrave the details.

Though, as he had already prepared the construct, he finished engraving within a couple of seconds. Retracting his psychic arms, Jyorta touched the gift box, grinning as he could feel the gentle impression formed on it.

The created scenery was indeed a work of art. After all, he had also varied the effect of corrosion, faintly changing the colour of the inscriptions at various places, painting a realistic scenery. Adding onto its impression, it was a work of art. "This looks great!"

He then placed the gift box in a bag and carried it with him towards Sector 9, 10th Ring, entering the warehouse in the Bone Family's research institution. He stuffed the gift box with as much of the compressed Healing Salve as he could, finally muttering as he looked at the gift box with a capacity of a litre, "Thanks to them being compressed by Henrik, this one litre now contains Healing Salve worth the energy of five Wave Controllers. This should be a good gift."

"Based on what Haesha has talked about, her family isn't well off. All of them had only managed to reach Tier 2. So, a lot of things rests on her shoulder. And, it seems one of her family members have suffered an injury that they have been unable to completely treat due to the costs involved." He muttered, recalling everything he had conversed about with Haesha.

Normally, he wouldn't have been able to conclude things with this level of precision. But, using the blue soul, he lived through the related memories many times, taking note of each of her reactions, choice of words, expressions, etc.

Only after that did he arrive at such a conclusion. And, Haesha was a headstrong individual. If he simply gifted her money, she would simply refuse it. Moreover, her impression of him might even drop. After all, Jyorta didn't have any means to earn money now, since he had yet to begin his job.

So, giving her a gift that would allow her to treat her family members better using her Regen would be the best outcome. And, the Healing Salve he gifted her was something he earned himself. So, she won't be able to refuse it.

After stuffing it to the brim, Jyorta closed the lid, carefully gift-wrapping it with a casual cover. It was just a piece of paper sporting an ivory colour. It neither seemed special nor expensive. He placed it in his bag and returned to his home, arriving when it was time for dinner.

"You're back, Jyorta Bone." Ravis Bone smiled, watching television while seated in the living room. Jyorta casually glanced at the TV, eyes twitching as he noticed Ravis watching Tom & Jerry. For such a burly grown man to see a cartoon meant for kids was a strange sight.

After all, he wasn't watching it with his kids. Rather, he was watching it alone.

Upon seeing his reaction, Ravis Bone laughed, "This always gets me cracking. It is a good remedy to maintain mental peace. I'm sure your teachers in the academy would have recommended it too."

"They did," Jyorta nodded, thinking, 'I've watched it so many times that I can't even smile while seeing it anymore.'

'Anyway, if I want to experience the time when I laughed the hardest while seeing it, I can simply live through the memories of my childhood.' Thinking as such, Jyorta placed his bag in his room, returning to the living room as he joined Ravis Bone in watching the television. Immediately after, Heima shouted from the kitchen, prompting Ravis to hurriedly run into their bedroom to take care of their kids.

It seemed that one of them had pooped, a normal situation for a baby.
