70 Chapter 69 - The Freeman

[January of 2013]

3rd PoV

Three days passed after the emergence of the what the people eventually called as the American Kaiju and the government is already doing their usual job.

Spreading fake news..

The high echelon of the government that was involved with getting the kaiju was already their best to convince the president to let them experiment on it even though the creature used to be a human.

Obama had a headache with their continuous and persistent requests – whether they are through phone or personal – and so he turned to someone he trusted to get an opinion.

Andrew just casually replied – through the phone – that he should do what he thinks is right and he should also consider if this experiments would truly and entirely benefit them.

Obama nodded at his insight and then finally agreed to the persistent officials – who was overjoyed – as he then went back to their bedroom while his duplicate stayed and did all the paperwork in his office.

Yes, you head that right, duplicate.

To further influence and make good friendship with the president. Andrew actually went and check if the guy had meta-gene and surprise surprise, he actually got one.

The ability wasn't just a simple self duplication or cloning as when Obama's duplicate would merge back with him, he would actually receive all the memories of what the clone have gained throughout its lifetime; Much like a shadow clone technique from a certain ninja verse.

And so, as a good friend, Andrew first asked for his permission and when he got it, he activated the president's meta gene. Sasha – Obama's daughter – was overjoyed to find that her father is also like her as she quickly turned to her favorite hero and asked if he can also activate the meta gene of her sister and mother.

Andrew first asked if they wanted to be metas which was not needed as the two was very much eager to be so. He then activated their meta genes and their abilities was;

Mother: Healing Water Generation and Manipulation.

Malia: Water Constructs.

The siblings seemed to have mostly inherited what their parents' abilities as Malia quickly managed to mold her water to become a water clone and Sasha imitated and then managed to also do the same. With a little more exploration and guide from Psionix, they also managed to activate the healing properties of their water much like their mother.

But Andrew wouldn't just make his clone spend and waste its time on Whitehouse entirely as he also made a few more Psionix clones that would patrol several states of america.

His actions made some wonder just how many abilities does he really have while the normal folks was just glad and very much grateful that the strongest meta-human would patrol their cities.

A few more days passed and the smartest man alive was already free. Turns out, Reed Richards volunteered himself to be part of the research that the government will do on the American Kaiju and the former couldn't turn down the help of someone like Reed.

Reed Richards is known for many things, risk-taker, elastic man, not being a simp, and a man with a green hat in his head in the future. But he is known generally for his immense intellect and no one can deny that fact — not even the ever-arrogant Tony Stark.

And so, the government quickly struck a deal with the man with the deal saying that there will be no, as in no, experiments regarding the kaiju that will be conducted without the surveillance of the government.

In simple terms, Reed cannot experiment on his own and would need to always be with government scientists or personnels if he wants to continue experimenting with the kaiju and doesn't want to go back to his jail.

And of course Reed also gave his conditions, which was he wants everything that the government have confiscated in the Baxter Building at the time of his arrest and he also wants to make his group an official heroes which will go by the name of the Fantastic Four.

Then they finally finalized the deal and then Reed first went back to the Baxter Building to reunite with his friends before eventually coming back to where the Kaiju is being detained and would-be experimented on.

What he found funny about all of this was what were they using to sedate the creature and keep it in its unconscious state was a tranquilizer shot he developed in the past out of boredom. The shot was something that he was pretty sure would be effective 100 times over to a dinosaur but he didn't think that it would actually have its use.

On the other hand. The video of the Hulk and Juggernaut dragging the American Kaiju went viral. After the battle against the Kaiju and the refusal of Psionix to carry it to the research facility. The government actually requested – more like pleaded – to the Avengers and Meta Task Force to hire the time and strength of the Hulk and Juggernaut to help them carry the Godzilla-ripoff to the research facility.

It took a few minutes of haggling as Fury finally managed to make the two agree to help in exchange of one wish that Hulk and Juggernaut didn't immediately voiced out since they still doesn't know what they need.

On the other hand. Andrew was spending his time relaxedly and wasn't absorbing cosmic energy from the mind stone since it was currently useless for him as he would only be able to refill his reserve and nothing more.

He is also checking the state of his company from time to time and one thing got his attention when one night, a group of stealthy, red-ninja-outfit wearing people tried assassinating him, aldrich and maya when they were having a drink.

[Flashback]

Andrew, Aldrich and Maya are having a drink in the living room of the uppermost floor of the Celestial Building. The atmosphere was peaceful and lively as Maya and Aldrich would make eye contact from time to time with Andrew rolling his eyes at them as he felt out of place in this kind of atmosphere. Though something caught his attention but he didn't immediately made a move.

"Let's take one more shot!"

Aldrich loudly said with a blush on his face because of the alcohol, though these things shouldn't be able to affect him, he was actually suppressing his fast metabolism and inner hot temperature to make the alcohol affect him.

He then leaned forward to the reflective glass as he reached out to the alcohol bottle.

Though he quickly sobered up as the blush on his face immediately disappeared after he saw multiple red human eyes in the reflective glass table reflecting from the ceiling.

The owners of the eyes seemed to have sensed that Aldrich now knows that they are there as they used the ceiling and pushed themselves from it and to the three people at the ground — with their swords ready, gleaming and reflecting the moonlight from the window.

Andrew calmly raised his head to look as he watched in silence while Maya also looked up, panic appearing in her eyes, but quickly calmed down seeing the calm demeanor of the two male in the room.

Aldrich turned his head up to look at the attacking ninjas as he opened his mouth and a yellowish glow began appearing around his mouth and throat as a beam of concentrated flames came out and struck one of the ninja.

Pew

Aldrich moved his head with quick reflexes as he seemed to have turned into a plasma gun as small concentrated beams of flame came out of his mouth and struck all the falling ninjas.

All of this happened in under a few seconds and the reason Maya was also able to react to the attack was because Aldrich also gave her the perfected Extremis Serum which also enhanced her reaction time, reflexes, strength, speed, agility and gave her the same heat and pyrokinetic abilities.

Thud

The ninjas fell to the floor with a thud as their bodies sported numerous holes because of Aldrich's attack. There's no blood spilling since the heat have already cauterized the wound but some of the ninjas that fell had their swords piercing their bodies accidentally which made Aldrich annoyed as he has to change the carpet once again.

Aldrich sat back down on the couch along with his bottle as he chugged it and then turned to Andrew who was munching on a pizza. "Do you know them?"

"Hm, not really, *munch*" Andrew casually denied though he has a hunch on where this ninjas came from.

"Are they supposed to be ninjas just like in movies?" Maya drank from her glass as she asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Andrew replied.

Maya rolled her eyes at him while Aldrich chuckled as he then casually tapped a button under the table and spoke "Send in a cleaning crew."

Beep

[End of Flashback]

Now, Andrew is currently locating the hideout of a certain ancient organization through the mind of one of the ninjas that actually managed to live.

"Y-you will not g-get anything!" The ninja roared at him and then proceeded to bite off its tongue and then quickly died.

Andrew looked at the shit that just happened as he muttered to himself "That shit works?"
