22 Chapter 21 - Confrontation

Andrew's P.O.V

My senses picked up Charles' vast amount of psychic energy as it ridiculously oozed out of him in an incredible amount and power.

Truly an Omega-Level Telepath..

Unfortunately. the user was undeserving of such a magnificent power.

My amazement and disappointment at the same time was cut short as i began to wonder what this baldie is planning to do.

Though, I got my answer a while later..

Most of the students' facial expressions began changing and after a while, most of them settled with a frowning and some with betrayed expressions.

With a simple use of my Telepathy, i shuffled through what they just experienced and couldn't help but roll my eyes.

I turned my gaze lazily to the bald dumbles and asked with a slight smile "What's with all this animosity, Charles?"

Scott who was frowning for a while now took a step forward and shouted in an accusatory tone "You're actually a murderer?.. H-how could you just kill that innocent people at Seattle like they're nothing? Y-you–.."

3rd Person P.O.V

Scott Summers righteous speech was cut short as Dani also voiced out her opinion that surprised them "I am sure that Andrew didn't mean to hurt those people.. He was just confused a-and scared just like the rest of us when we awaken our powers.."

Andrew raised an eyebrow at her, a bit surprised that she would actually still defend him. Truly a hero in the making.

The other new mutants also has understanding and trustful look on their faces, agreeing with Dani's opinion while the rest of the students like Bobby, Kitty and the rest has a complicated visage.

Since they don't really know Andrew that much, they can't give their honest opinions, but what Charles made them watch through his Telepathy are starting to affect their mindset and was beginning to lean to the possibility of Andrew really being dangerous.

What Charles transferred to their minds are his memories when he watched the footage of Andrew fighting his cousin; Matt, in Seattle as the former destroyed uncountable public properties and reaped numerous lives in the process like its nothing.

Charles' plan was as simple it can. He would give them the footage of the fight and after all the doubts that will begin breeding in their minds like a locusts. Charles will use this doubts and transmit suggestions to their minds to sway them more against Andrew.

Though, what he is doing is technically wrong and was leaving a bad taste inside him for manipulating them like this. Charles still steeled through his plan as he knows that this is for the greater good of them and having Andrew any more further around them will only make him worry as he don't know what's running through his mind–literally–which is one of the reason for him antagonizing Andrew–not that he would admit that..

Charles Xavier controlled his wheelchair to move forward for a bit as he still sported that defeated but determined look on his face "Andrew.. This is hard for me.. For us.. But for the safety of the students.. Please go with them.

For the sake of the kids.." Charles tried to use the fact that Andrew genuinely likes the kids to sway his mind but he was wrong about one thing.

While Andrew was fond of such pure and innocent creatures and appreciates them truly, One thing was sure that he wouldn't let this kinds of emotions intervenes when it's necessary and would even butcher this kids if he somehow find himself fighting for his very life..

"So please, Andrew. Surrender to them and i can assure you that they won't do anything harmful to you if you just cooperate..." Charles continues with a soft tone and then telepathically communicates with Fury..

Fury who "heard" Charles signaled his men to prepare for any situation that may unfold right now..

Andrew brought his hands to his hair as he ruffles it and couldn't help as a smile appeared on his face "You're so paranoid Charles, but.. surprise surprise, you're actually not wrong this time.."

At that Andrew began walking ahead of the group of students as he was three meters away, he turned back and said to the group "It was nice meeting you all.."

He turned Fury "I don't want to go with you so.. bye I guess?" Saying that, he began levitating from the ground and was about to fly away when a bang resounded.

His reaction that has been surprisingly enhanced passively by his parallel processing – that has also been progressing nicely for the past two months – made him react quickly. He whipped his head to the direction of the agents and saw one of them with his gun pointed at him as an object came out of it.

The object was definitely not a bullet as the thing was abnormally large and it was circle-shaped and was emitting sparks of electricity.

He looks at this calmly and didn't put up a force-field whatsoever. The "bullet" slammed at his body and released high voltage of electricity that would have paralyzed him but all it did was brought him a strangely good feeling as a memory surfaced from his mind.

Fury, Coulson and the agents was startled at this as no known mutants or superhumans was able resist their control disks.

Fury signaled once again as all the agents pulled their guns in a fluid manner – showing their professionalism and trained selves – and all of them shoots it at Andrew.

Andrew lets all of this hit him as he felt something inside him awakening and was on the verge of unleashing itself.

BANG! BANG!

Though. To his disappointment. The agents emptied out their guns and lost ammo and the awakening inside him was not fulfilled to his distaste.

"Tch"

Andrew clicked his tongue in disappointment as he began lifting his hand to the direction of Fury and the agents.

Fury's expression took on a solemn one as he barked behind him "Prepare yourselves!"

Andrew's outstretched hand began clenching as the agents' expressions began taking that of pain and agony as they began dropping their guns and falling to the ground at the same time as their bodies began producing sounds of creaking bones as if their limbs was about to point in different directions if it continues.

Phil Coulson wasn't spared as he also fall to the ground and was experiencing pain that far outstripped his own pain tolerance that he honed through his life as an agent.

Most of the students and teachers of the mansion's expression all took on a frightened one at the horrifying scene they are currently seeing.

Whoosh!

Andrew was calmly looking at all of this when a blast of red energy beam struck him square to the chest and was thrown away.

Alex Summers a.k.a Havok attacked.

The teachers didn't say anything to scold their fellow or anything as they also thought that they should interfere.

Alex Summers who has an angry countenance began walking forward as red ominous energy swirls on his hand up to his wrists.

Andrew who lied on the green grass of the yard has a smile once again surfacing on his face as he lifts his two feet to the air and took a jump and lands on his feet fluidly. His body having no trace of injury while his clothes also being in the same state just like before.

The moment he stood was the signal for Alex as he pointed his right hand to Andrew and once again blasts a beam of destructive energy.

The red energy traveled at an amazing speed and quickly reached Andrew but stopped at two meters away from him, Andrew's force-field stopping it

Whoosh!

Alex clicked his tongue and then brought his other hand and joined the two as the red swirling plasmid destructive energy he was emitting doubled in its intensity.

"Oho?" Andrew was surprised at the power of Alex Summers blasts but also countered with his own. He punched and a wave of psionic wave passed through his force-field and the destructive blast and then hit Alex.

Alex who was hit felt himself getting dizzy as the energy he was emitting gets extinguished as he falls to the ground. Unconscious.

"Alex!!" Scott shouted and immediately ran to his brother worriedly. Seeing that he was still breathing, Scott was relieved but his anger didn't diminish as he removed his ruby-quartz glasses and looks at Andrew.

"Oh, c'mon, don't even bother.." Andrew scoffed and formed an invisible wall in front of him. While Scott's concussive blasts was powerful, it still can't compare to Havok.

"You murderer!" Scott's anger skyrocketed after seeing his beam getting ignored and the look on Andrew's gaze that ultimately looked down on him ticked his nerves as he unconsciously increases the output of his power.

But all was futile in face of true might as his concussive blasts was still having no effect as Andrew using his Telepathy, flicked his fingers – for aesthetic purposes – to his direction and he immediately felt himself getting dizzy as he also fell to the ground. unconsciousness.

Andrew seeing them like this smiled in triumph but was interrupted as deep footsteps rapidly approached him from behind but he was alert as he flew away from the ground as a silver figure smashed his previous location.

Colossus' punch caused a relatively large crater to form on the ground. He lifts his head to look at the floating Andrew but his vision was suddenly turned upside down as flew in the air and smashed through numerous trees – destroying them in the process – and dissappeared from sight.

'That was close..' Andrew chided himself for not activating his [TK Domain] and was near getting smashed into the ground from Colossus' abnormal strength. 'I should get out of here before this flaming bird's anger skyrocketed and i get incinerated into nothingness.

One look at Jean's expression was enough to bring fright to those knowledgeable that they shouldn't mess with her lest her true power is unleashed.

He was ready to fly away when a voice interrupted him "Take me."

Andrew turned around and looked down and saw Illyana Rasputin walking towards his direction from below.

'Huh?' Andrew was confused by her and thought that maybe she was being controlled by the baldie but one peek inside her mind revealed what she really want.

""Illyana what are you doing?!"" The teachers tried to stop her they found themselves being rooted to the ground as they saw her stopping just below Andrew.

Andrew smirked as he lifts her from the ground and came face to face with her.

Illyana was silent as she looks at the location where Piotr was thrown with an expressionless face.

"Wait, wait don't leave me here!" A voice once again interrupted Andrew who was about to go away.

John "Pyro" Allerdyce walks to his direction and lifts his hand comically like a baby as he also said "Take me.. I can't stand being here anymore."

"Johnny! What are you doing!" Bobby "Iceman" Drake who was also rooted to the ground shouted in worry at the prospect of losing one of his friend to what he thought of as a deranged killer.

Andrew thought for a moment and then willed Pyro to his side and formed an invisible force-field around the three of them and turned to the ground and said with annoyance "Okay. Who else?"

All was silent as even the rest of the new mutants has a complicated look on their faces. They like it here.. So why should they go to what they now assumed as a mess of a person.

Andrew looks down at the mutants and Fury who was helping Coulson to stand up and was about to fly away when something entered his field of vision from a far.

Charles Xavier and the rest of the teacher took on a serious countenance as they heard the former "telling" them that their mortal enemy has arrived at the scene.

Fury who also "heard" Charles immediately helped Phil Coulson who was limping from the pain that has long since passed since Alex distracted Andrew to get on their cars. He kicked some agents – who fainted from the pain – to wake them up in the process.

The "something" that entered Andrew's field of vision quickly managed to approach the mansion as it turns out to be a group composef of five people being led by an old man wearing a dark violet and black costume with matching cape and metallic helmet on his head.

The old man the same age of Charles ignored the the floating Andrew, Illyana and Pyro and turned to the latter and talked with a slight smile "Hello Old Friend."
