36 CHAPTER 36

PART TWO

Y/N POV

My alarm rang.

I washed my face as if it depended on it, it kind of did. I had an important presentation that day, and guess who was getting late? Me. I quickly put my red dress on, with a soft white jacket. The mornings of October were always cold.

I ran downstairs, the smell of toasts, butter, strawberry jam, orange juice and tea filled up my nostrils.

"What do you want for breakfast, we've-" My mum started.

"Nothing, I'm late! Bye mum, by dad, by sisy."

I put my converse on, running towards the door.

"What took you so long?" Ashley asked me when I was inside the car.

"Sorry, I didn't wake up when the first alarm sounded." Ahsley laughed.

"Come on. Today's an important day."

"Don't say that, it makes me more nervous."

"We'll do it great. You know we'll both win."

Ashley and I decided to sign up for an international project. If we passed the presentation, we would win, but we didn't know exactly what.

Soon we arrived at the campus.

That day was going to mark a before and after in my life, but I didn't know it yet. Would have I still done it, if I knew back then what was going to happen?

* * *

Ashley and I were in the middle of the corridor, opening the envelopes with the marks.

"I passed!" I yelled. "I passed!" I did my happy dance, not minding the weird looks of everyone.

"I also passed! Yay, we did it Y/n!" Ashley screamed.

We hugged each other as if we would never see us again.

"What do we have to do now?"

"I think we've to wait, they'll send us an email." I said.

"That makes sense. So, do you want to go for a drink?"

"And also a piece of cake."

We went to our favourite cafeteria.

"Do you know something about them?" Ahsley asked, before finishing her orange juice.

"Yeah. Jungkook and Hobi talk a lot in the group chat. I know that Taehyung is doing better and Yoongi is still ignoring my messages. Ugh, that boy." Ashley giggled.

"He sent me a piece of what he finished. Do you want to listen to it?"

"No, it's alright."

"I wonder what are we going to win. It has to be something related to this university, but I'm not sure what." I scratched my head.

"Me neither, they're crazy."

"We're more to sign up to something we don't know what it is."

"We can always say no at the end." Ashley said.

"Touché."
