74 Saved By The Foe Twice?

"Mical, can you fight?" Denzel spoke to the Beast in him that was already fast asleep.

'Oh, he told me he won't wake up for a month, how am I now meant to face these two monsters?'

Denzel looked behind him, he could see Sony grab the weapon that was behind him, normally, you would refer to it as a sword, but Sony claimed that it wasn't a sword, he referred to it as Geom.

"Wow, I am going to use my precious Geok to slay another Beast, Dad, how happy might you be? I even got better in my weave crafts work," Sony said, caressing the body of his Geom, licking the blade with the tongue of a snake.

"Sony, it would be better if you focused on this battle, because I am leaving him to you, I would watch how it goes, and interfere if there is need to," Ryder walked out of the house, strolling step by step to a corner to watch them.

Denzel smiled to himself, that was the only opportunity he had to escape, and immediately, he chose to run as fast as he could, still holding the side of his abdomen.

Denzel had already taken about five steps when he heard Ryder's voice just behind him.

"Where are you going to?" Ryder held the hood of Denzel's hoodie with two of his fingers, pulling him back to take a close look at his face. "You can't run away, we were asked to get you unconscious, but you are lucky that I want Sony to take care of you,"

Denzel was amazed by Ryder's strength, he was very strong, and it showed in his muscles, his speed was also not one to joke about.

Denzel turned his eye to look at Ryder when Ryder flung him to one edge of the gate that was concealing Ted's house.

"Sony, you may continue, and don't let him get away,"

"You didn't even have to interfere, do you think he can run away from me? Leave it to me, I would end it as fast as I can," Sony dashed towards Denzel, trying to stab his chest with the Geom.

Denzel was still grumbling in pain when he sighted the Geom coming towards his chest and he managed to force himself to evade it by shifting to his side.

'This is a very wrong time for Mical to be asleep, but it was the fault of these people, to begin with,' Denzel thought to himself as he kept groaning in pain.

"Wow, you were able to dodge that attack? You can still move, I am not even killing you, but you choose to be stubborn, we would have been friends though, and I would have thought you how to weave, but you just have to come with me unconscious," Sony said to Denzel, smiling when he stretched his hand towards Denzel and pointed his index finger at him, he inserted his Geom back into the case that hung at his back.

Denzel didn't understand why he stretched that finger, it was like Sony was accusing him of something, but then, something, most likely a thread, but thicker and stronger protruded from Sony's index finger and it sprung to wrap Denzel in it.

Sony lifted that finger, swinging it in another direction.

Denzel found himself flying in the sky, then towards the other direction, the wall of Ted's house. He couldn't bear the pain, but all he could do was groan, shrieking at the top of his voice.

"Ryder, you said to interfere? There is not even a need to interfere, I mean, this guy is just weak, how did those cops not even get him?"

"Focus" Ryder replied to Sony, his eyes glued to Sony's opponent.

"Okay Boss," Sony said, dashing towards Denzel immediately he was done talking.

Denzel didn't see when he vanished and appeared at his front, but he could see Sony's legs get hauled towards his face.

He was able to dodge the attack again, but as it happened earlier, the attack still had an impact on him, as he bled from his nose.

Denzel managed to get up, leaping towards the gate of Ted's house, and he was pulled back before he was able to get to the gate.

Sony grabbed Denzel by his neck, squeezing it extensively, "Ryder, do you think this is enough to make him faint?"

"Whatever you do, don't let him die,"

Grayson was walking towards Ted's house to check if Denzel was present there when he noticed a crowd recording a video of something, but he couldn't make out what it was, because of the crowd that gathered.

Whenever people gathered like that, it meant something interesting was going on, and what they always did after getting a video was to upload it on the Chirper app, where all trending news was always known about on social media.

Grayson took out his phone and went to the Chirper app and he could see what was going wrong.

When he got to the app, the first thing he saw on the trending page was #M.DvsZooKeepers#, and clicking on it he saw different videos showing the downfall of Denzel.

Grayson knew he had to do something, but he didn't just know the right time to interfere in the battle, he kept thinking until he noticed something fly past him.

It was actually Denzel, flung away from Ted's house surroundings.

Grayson noticed that Sony and Ryder were already moving, Sony spilling out spider webs from his finger, using it to grab something and then propel himself forward and Ryder walking out of the gate slowly.

While Sony was moving in the air, he used his other hand to form a ball of webs, and then he threw it at Denzel.

"Wait, if he uses Webs, that would mean that he has a Spider in him, meaning I should be able to do that also," Grayson thought to himself, and then tried it out. He had already synchronised with both Beasts that he had in him, but he never really tried shooting out webs from his body.

The first strand of Web that came of his finger was not strong enough to hold onto anything, but he didn't stop trying.

He kept on shooting them out, each time he did, he doubled the thread.

Then he noticed something when Sony sprung another out of his finger, Grayson noticed that he wasn't just shooting them out, he was actually weaving them together, weaving about a thousand threads as he shoots them out, and then rolling another hundred thread weaved together around it.

It wasn't something someone could learn in days or weeks, it would take months and even years before someone could come to the perfection of it.

"Damn, are all the Zoo Keepers this good? Well, that doesn't mean that I can't stand a chance against him, but I can't face him here..." Grayson tried Sony's move, shooting the webs out of his finger and then weaving them together, but it didn't seem possible, only a few threads came out, and it could take Grayson only a short distance.

But that short distance was long enough to get Grayson to Sony, and Grayson sent Sony a kick to his face.

The attack pushed Sony away, his mask almost coming off, Sony was shocked, that someone could actually do that to him.

"Who was that?" Sony twisted his neck, cracking it as he did, wearing his mask properly, he looked behind him to find who it was, but when he could see no one, he turned back to look at Denzel, and he could see Grayson carry Denzel up, running away as fast as he could. He looked at the face of Denzel, and he could see how brutally injured he was, he had probably fractured a few ribs.
