101 Night Of The Second Massacre.

Masked Hyūgas stormed into the compound by dozens, bypassing bloodied servants and slaying unmarked ones.

It was a mere 5 minutes, but it was enough for a bloody smell to fill the entire compound as the last of the elders and the main branch members soaked the wooden floor in their blood. An attack, an inside massacre executed in the middle of the night as the moon shined brightly in the sky.

Below it, the Hokage slowly made his way towards the Hyūga's gates as they suddenly opened, prompting a smile into his face.

'Would you look at that? Last time I had to sneak into a massacre... and this time it welcomes me with its doors open. Things have surely changed.' - The man chuckled lightly as his red eyes gazed at the kneeling figures waiting at the opened doors.

It was only when he took a few steps closer that one of them spoke, taking a small step forward, head still lowered and one knee on the ground, his voice containing nothing if not relief and dare he says, a little too much eagerness.

"Hokage-sama, the compound is ours. The young lord was insistent on personally keeping the head company until you arrived..." - cold sweat gathered into the shinobi as his words stopped for a moment. - "...and such could not come to see you personally."

The Hokage paid no heed to his nervous state as he simply smiled. There was a look of anticipation and expectation in his eyes as he simply looked towards the compound.

"Good, take me to him."

"Yes, Hokage-sama."

---------------------------

The sliding door went flying off towards the wall with force as the Hokage made his way inside smiling at the Hyuga head who was now forced down to his knees, gagged, two swords with their edges pointed at his neck, ready to slice upwards and claim it if need be and Neji standing off to the side with Hinata as they turned to look at Kei.

"Forgive me, it seems that I might have gotten a tad too excited." - Kei said as he made to sit in front of the Hyūga head, staring into his eyes as his smile only got wider. He could feel the confusion and anger in the eyes of the current Hyūga head

"You know, I was almost 'heartbroken' when Hinata decided to choose the right thing to do instead of simply bending to my whims... wow it sounds so bad when I put it like that! Either way, you'd think that love counts for something... but it is to be expected I suppose. Never did strike me as the selfish type no matter how much she strayed from her original type, so much time wasted on here... though I guess I did kind of half-ass it to be honest, maybe she needed more time, or more attention... well, water under the bridge at this point." - Kei said as he shook his head, leaning it slightly to the side as he stared at 'Hinata' who flinched at his gaze.

"I mean, experiment on a few thousand men, women, and children, and she starts plotting with Tsunade under my back... but in the end, she was as indecisive as before, confronting me on her own, putting poison into my meal... albeit nothing lethal, merely blocks my chakra for a few hours... or at least that how it should have worked on a normal shinobi... as I said, indecisive. She knows what I'm capable of, at least try something lethal, right? -As Kei raised his shoulders in question, only a questioning gaze was directed his way from the Hyūga head.

Kei's smile fell a little as he suddenly focused his attention completely on Hiashi, staring straight into his eyes.

As he observed the Hyuga head a while longer Kei's smile completely fell into a thin line, his Sharingan bleeding red color becoming more vivid as his expression continued to fall.

"You… have only the vaguest idea of what is going on here tonight don't you?... … … … I… I guess it is to be expected… from such caliber of a leader." - And despite his words stopping as his eyes darted towards the shinobi in the room, his thoughts portrayed his real feelings. - 'such caliber of a being… so slow, so single-minded… though considering he is not even a Nara it is to be expected… I can't expect every individual to be capable of butting heads with me based on their position.'

"So… disappointing. It's clear nothing will be yielded from a conversation with… you."

Rising from his place and turning his head towards Neji, Kei asked a question.

"Neji, what is the course of events that took place tonight?"

Not missing a beat, Neij immediately answered.

"Tsunade Senju launched an attack on the staunchest supporters of the current Hokage, the Hyuga clan. Due to her expertise in medical ninjutsu, she poisoned most of the main branch guards, allowing her to slaughter almost everyone inside the main branch compound, including the current head of the Hyuga clan, Hiashi Hyuga, and his oldest daughter. Suffering from grief, the current successor, Hanabi Hyuga took her own life, leaving the leadership to the closest surviving member of the main branch… myself."

As Neji spoke, the surrounding guards took out their bags, throwing multiple heads to the floor, each pertaining to a clan elder.

"Well then, since all the heads have gathered, shall we move on with the succession ceremony. Now Neji, I present to you your revenge. The man that sentenced your father to death, powerless to do anything in retaliation as your father once was. As for the interest, his children shall follow him shortly after. This is the reward… for your loyalty."

As the words fell, Neji's sword sliced through the air, immediately removing Hiashi's head from his body.

"Well… that was quick. Are you sure you are satisfied with just that?"

Neji looked at the headless body as he replied, his body not moving from its place.

"I… merely did not want to risk anything interfering. Nothing is definite… until it has already come to pass. Now I have taken my revenge, and nothing will be able to change that. Even if he comes back to life, it wouldn't undo the fact that I have already killed him once."

Kei merely smiled as he turned to walk away, his disappointment setting again as he thought about his failed expectations.

'Hinata' slowly pulled a Kunai from her pouch as she pointed it at her own throat.

-------------------------

As Kei made his way outside the building, Neji approached him from behind as he slowly spoke.

"Hokage-sama, about Tsunade Senju… should I…?"

Kei merely waved his hand as he looked in the distance.

"There is no need. She was to meet with Hiashi in the Forest of Death after Hinata brought him to her. It's almost the time of the meeting… let us let that forest finally earn its name. Loose the seals, let our test subjects hunt their fill of Senju. I would like to see how they will evolve from this, or in failure to do so, how she will try and combat the virus. We only stand to gain either way. Tsunade Senju's purpose is already coming to an end… and this will be her final act."

"As you say Hokage-sama."

--------------------------

(30 min later, outside Konoha.)

The Hokage was looking at his summon, Manda, and back at the ground where two bodies stood still, unmoving… dead. Looking at Manda again, the Hokage moved his gaze towards his other summon, a big crow on his right shoulder who was also looking confusingly between Kei, Manda, and the dead bodies on the floor.

As the 3 figures looked confusingly at each other Kei frowned slightly and then smiled.

"Well then… This… was certainly miles outsides of my expectations… Just what, could our friends from far away be planning this time?" – Kei said as he looked at the deceased bodies wearing cultivator robes on the ground.
