The dagger descended as fast as lightning and was about to touch the throat when it disappeared all of a sudden much to her surprise.

Her pupils dilated in surprise at the sight of the dagger's sudden vanishment. She raised her chin and stared at Leon wordlessly for a moment.

"The dagg…it vanished."

A myriad of emotions flashed in her eyes and with a smile that bloomed subconsciously, she asked with a parched voice, "Leon! Did you forgive me?"

Irina, unable to hold in anymore, collapsed on the floor as her leg buckled. A sense of weakness washed over her.

"Forgive my ass!"Leon spat with a distorted expression. He thought that she wouldn't dare to do this and using this opportunity he would just leave but….

It seems she had a few screws lost.
