The cold wind bit at Karma's face as she ran. Jumping over fallen trees, dodging standing ones, and racing through the woods. She soon had to shift to her advanced form, her normal was tiring out.

Soon, she was at the edge of the forest, 'Where are you?' She thought to herself.

She took a big sniff to the air, but there were too many other wolves. Smelling the air again, she realized she was surrounded, by male wolves. 'What a pretty, big female' one wolf thought.

Another growled his approval. One howled trying to impress her, another dug his claws into the dirt to try to be the first to her. She grabbed him by the neck, and slung him into a tree. "I never said I wanted to be your female!" She barked at them.

'The female talks in her wolf form?!' A few said in confusion.

Karma remained quiet, like she should have anyways. A smell caught her attention. One was the wolf she had met with, the other Prophecy wolf. The other, faintly different, was Cayden. Karma growled a warning to the males that surrounded her. 'Im not afraid to tear your heads off.' She thought this time.

'Tough, just how I like it.' One thought before digging his claws into the ground.

Again, she grabbed him by the throat and slung him into a tree, just as if he was a house cat. 'Anymore?' She thought in a growl.

She sniffed, she smelled three males, Cayden, and the other Prophecy wolf.

She starred at where the two wolves she knew where standing. They looked very similar, they both had blonde fur, and they were about the same height. The other three males had scampered away, terrified.

'Karma, I found my brother!' Cayden thought happily.

'He's your. . .' Karma trailed of shock. 'Does that mean I'm his. . .' This time she thought to herself, but still didn't finish before she got interrupted.

'Yup! That means he's my brother.' Cayden gleefully thought.

Karma looked at the other wolf. 'Hi, I'm Asher.' He though to both of them. She knew his gameplay.

'Im Karma.' She smiled at him.

'Karma, tomorrow you turn eighteen, correct?' Cayden asked.

Karma frantically looked at Asher. 'Does that mean that I will be mated to. . .' Karma thought to herself before finally being able to fake a smile and nod her head.

Karma shifted her weight, getting ready to morph. She grabbed her clothes and took a deep breath, before getting ready to head back to the boys. "Wait, I wanted to talk to you." Asher's voice came from the bushes. "I told Cayden that I was going to get you to help me get water."

Karma smiled, "Do you have another sibling?"

Asher nodded.

'That doesn't help.' Karma thought to herself.

Continuing in silence, they finally came across a stream of water. "If I remember correctly, you said this was your territory?"

"Yes. I could have any territory I want. So can you."

"How? Why?"

"We are ten times stronger than an army of ten thousand wolves, we can see every move we need to make, before the enemy has a chance to take another breath. It would be hard to win against us," he paused in thought, "actually its impossible to win against us."

"That seems unfair."

"It is, but if we weren't the way we are, then there would be no use for a Prophecy wolf."

"What exactly is the use for us?"

"I'm not sure exactly, it is said that there is only one ever one thousand years, but there have now been two for 17 years. It is almost as if our gift is a genetic, that is passed down every few generations.

I do not understand the entire reason that there are two in one lifetime. We are supposed to be spaced out to keep peace, and to change things. With two, it complicates things, it is almost as if we are meant to completely change the wolf's world." Asher paused, "I do not understand it, though I wish I did."

Karma nodded. "Me too."

Heading back was pretty quiet until Asher spoke, "Sorry if I made things awkward back at camp, I didn't know what else to do."

"No, it is fine. I was confused at first." Karma nervously chuckled.

Asher looked down at her without her noticing. He smiled, and continued down the path without speaking again.
