1 No, Thank You. I Didn't Ask For A Reincarnation

-Story Start-

In a surreal, white void, Alex found himself—his existence abruptly cut short by a fatal stabbing.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Alex couldn't resist a dry chuckle. "Indulging in pizza on the mean streets of East London gets you killed. Lesson learned," he thought, infusing a touch of irony and humor into the dire circumstance.

His attention was abruptly seized by the exuberant voice of a grinning, bearded old man, "Alex! How would you like a chance to reincarnate in another worl-"

'Ah, it's one of those.' Alex concluded quickly.

Only to be bluntly cut off by Alex's immediate refusal, "No."

The old man fell into a stupor, "Wha-?"

Shaking his head, Alex replied, "Look, Old Man, God, Buddha, Being X, Alien, or whatever you are, from that, I can already tell where this is going. I've seen my fair share of Anime. Let me pass on in peace."

Collecting himself, the bearded old man scratched his head as he mumbled, "They usually burst into tears from happiness... Guess the report on him is true."

"Hmm? You say something?" Alex waved at the old man.

Coughing, the old man replied, "Oh, it's nothing. But I see. Do you truly have no desire to reincarnate and live a blissful and happy life in another world?"

"No, thank you. I didn't ask for a reincarnation," Alex responded immediately.

"To be a worshipped and decorated hero?"

"Nope."

"Erm... A harem of beauties beyond your comprehension?"

"Hell, no."

At that, the old man got a complicated and hesitant expression.

"Are you an idiot?" he asked hesitantly.

"No, I'm depressed," Alex nodded, his expression the definition of neutral.

"THAT JUST SEEMS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE THEN, DOESN'T IT?!" The old man screamed in utter bewilderment.

"I guess," Alex shrugged indifferently.

An awkward silence enveloped the white void housing both of them.

A few seconds passed until...

"WELL, TOO BAD, YOU INDIFFERENT UNGRATEFUL ASSHAT! THE PLOT MUST GO ON! YOU'LL BE REINCARNATING WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. BAHAHAHAHAHA!" Doing a complete 180, the old man roared with glee at Alex, giving him whiplash and a heart attack as he laughed.

But since he was already dead, the heart attack proved ineffective.

Taking a moment to process the information, Alex shrugged, "Okay."

'He'll reincarnate me, and I'll chill somewhere, look for a nice spot or something,' Alex formed his immaculate plan.

The old man then stopped his laughing as he grew a sly smirk, "Oh~? In that case... How about reincarnation in a world set to collapse, and you having the only solution. The burden of saving the world on your shoulders as you wield... THE Excalibur from the Fate Universe!" He dropped the bombshell.

Freezing, Alex digested the information once more.

A moment passed, and another immaculate plan formed in his head as he nodded his agreement to the old man, "Okay, sure."

'I'll just chuck it into some dirty alleyway, let someone else worry about the Fate of the World or whatever.'

Truly, an outstanding move.

The old man, having peeked once more on the thoughts of the indifferent gremlin, gritted his teeth, "Okay... If you're so reluctant, how about you have no choice in the matter?! I'll be forcing on you the "Savior System." Punishment for not completing the tasks adjusts to the user. So you better adhere to it! BAHAHAHAHA!" The old man burst into another fit of laughter.

This time, Alex clicked his tongue, "Tch."

At Alex finally showing a somewhat displeased expression, the old man's laughter only increased in volume, echoing throughout the white void.

Amidst the laughter, Alex sighed, "Look, I'm no stranger to being a slave to unwanted rules or circumstances. Just get it over with." He raised his arms in surrender.

The old man ceased his laughter as he hummed, "Gave up quickly, have you?"

With a questioning look, Alex asked, "You said it yourself - "YOU'LL BE REINCARNATING WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA," something like that. If I have no choice in the matter, might as well give up." Alex imitated the old man's words and tone mockingly.

With a snort and a wave, the old man supplied his final words, "Fair enough, Alexander. Enjoy your privileged life! It's more than you deserve, you indifferent and ungrateful worm! But, an unwilling clown is still a clown! Dance for me! And enjoy your new life in the RWBY Universe."

Out of the old man's words, Alex only filtered the hint at where he was supposed to reincarnate.

And unfortunately, it didn't ring any bell.

"The heck's a RWBY?" Alex asked, only to be met with a white flash and not a proper response.

As Alex spoke, the void around him shifted, its white expanse giving way to a surreal scene of floating geometrical shapes.

-Scene Change-

Inside the bullhead en route to Beacon Academy, an atmosphere of mixed excitement and anxiety permeated the air.

Excitement pulsated at the opportunity to be admitted to the finest Huntsman Academy in the whole of Remnant.

Anticipation filled the air, the chance to experience Huntsman Team And Campus Life.

To hone one's skills, let loose the adrenaline, and kick Grimm butt as some would say.

The final destination for all those who attended rigorous Combat Schools like Signal Academy for the mere sake of passing Beacon's brutal Initiation.

The generally accepted prerequisite to be officially recognized as a high-quality and proper Huntsman in Remnant was to complete education in this very Academy.

Of course, all those amazing qualities and privileges offered by said Academy are only provided once you actually get accepted.

Oh, and getting accepted is the whole issue.

Anxiety was heavy, for some of the less confident individuals all 17 years of age on the Bullhead.

So heavy was it, that some blonde guy was puking his heart out!

...In hindsight, it's probably airsickness.

It was in this very bullhead that a certain blonde, unassuming student, who was taking a nap on a chair, regained the memories of his past life.

With a gasp, he opened his eyes as he stared listlessly at the metal interior wall in front of him.

His presence, so underwhelming that no one has noticed his troubled situation.

He surveyed the interior of the bullhead, a mix of excitement and anxiety lingering in the air.

There, amidst the other student's anticipation of Beacon Academy, Alex's thoughts raced, trying to grasp the sudden change.

'Alex Andrite... That's my name in this World. Did I just possess this poor guy? Meh, unlucky I guess. We aren't too different anyway.' Alex thought to himself as he quickly dismissed the prospect of possessing his current body.

The similarity was truly uncanny.

Same first name, Orphans, Rough Life, few if no friends at all, and floating in the air current that is life.

'Although this guy had hopes and dreams. So guess we aren't the same after all.' In a rather edgy manner, Alex dismissed the previous owner of the body's similarity with that one, perhaps a key difference.

The original Alex Andrite had wanted to become a Huntsman, a great one. And not just cruise by.

Something Current Alex would clearly disagree with.

'Beacon Academy huh... At least I didn't start in a womb or something. That'd be pretty annoying.' Alex thought optimistically

A ping rang out in Alex's mind as he was currently processing the 17 Years' worth of otherworldly memories.

It was followed by a cheery female voice.

[Greetings And Welcome!]

[To The Savior System!]

[Master Alex Andrite!]

'Can I mute this thing?'

[I can mute you're life!]

The "Savior System" snarked back.

Nodding his blonde head he said, "Please do."

Ignoring him, the System continued.

[Anyway! Here's an introduction!]

Upon saying so, Alex was greeted with a Menu, with multiple sections that were open.

[The Savior System]

-Main Quests-

[NEW!] - Don't Die -

None for now... You have no friends <3< p>

[The Savior System]

'Okay... Could you explain everything?'

[Sure!]

[Main quests are pretty self-explanatory. Some chain into other Main Quests, but mostly these types of quests are rare and are of vital importance, both the reward and the punishment for them are accordingly more severe. Especially the Punishment, Hehe~. Please click on any one of them.]

Clicking on the "Initiation" Main Quest, Alex was met with...

-Main Quests-

- [NEW!] Initiation↓

Requirements - Must pass the Initiation of Beacon and be officially accepted as a Student.

Rewards - 5000 Lien & Gacha Coupon.

Time Limit - Until the End of Initiation.

Punishment For Failure - 100 Years Of Torture Adjusted To The User.

Difficulty - E

'Okay... Cool. 100 Years Of Torture for... 5000 Lien and Fucking Gacha?' Alex thought in annoyance, eyeing the 100 Years' worth of torture with a seething glare.

Clicking on the other Main Quest he is met with...

-Main Quests-

- [NEW!] Save The World↓

Requirements - Stop the destruction of Humanity or the World by any means necessary. Either halt it from ever happening or stop it in its tracks.

Rewards - 1000000000 Lien & ???????? & ??????? & ????????

Time Limit - Until the End Of The World.

Punishment For Failure - Eternal Damnation.

Difficulty - ???

"Eternal Damnation is rather harsh isn't it?" Alex began to find it hard to keep up his indifference as he rapidly lost patience, even more so than with that Old Man.

He never believed it would be THIS determined to force him to act against his will.

[It is the most lenient form of punishment in order to motivate Master to complete the Quest.] The System supplied for Alex.

Huffing, Alex gestured for the System to continue, 'Alright, next.'

[With pleasure~! I'll be explaining everything in rapid motion. You may then ask questions when checking things out on your own!]

Nodding stoically, Alex provided the signal for the System to continue its explanation.

[Now for Abilities! Your bread and butter! You have Nasuverse Knowledge, so I will refrain from explaining what both of you're Main Abilities can do! Bluntly speaking, you will have only them for the remainder of you're life in terms of combat. Any other ability you get will pale in comparison or will be simply miscellaneous in the grand scheme of things and in comparison to both these Titans! You may get new abilities from Gacha and or set rewards from both Sub and Main Quests!]

Taking into consideration the knowledge he had gained from his body's previous owner, Alex surmised that in terms of power, Excalibur and Avalon were truly overkill for the world of Remnant.

Not even mentioning the "Dragon Aura Core", he assumes it gives him a mountain-sized Aura capacity.

He could be a toddler and he'd still be fine with 99% of the Grimm in this world with those two.

'Though didn't expect to get Avalon in addition to Excalibur. That's nice to have I guess, if I'm forced into this thing anyway.' Alex thought analytically.

[Now for Debuffs! These are mainly obtained through failing a Side Quest and or even a Main Quest! However, failing a Main Quest and being given a mere debuff wouldn't suffice as a punishment for you~!]

Out of curiosity, Alex Clicked on the "Show Your Hand" Debuff.

-Debuffs-

- Show Your Hand↓

The user is completely powerless and his monstrous Aura is sealed until he brings out "Excalibur The Sword Of Promised Victory".

Should the User be in an obviously life-threatening situation and still refuse to summon "Excalibur The Sword Of Promised Victory", it will automatically appear in the User's hand.

Rubbing the bridge of his nose, Alex let out a groan, "And here I thought I could just hide this thing as long as possible."

He really didn't want attention on him.

The mere sight of the Excalibur would literally bring him to the spotlight of the entire world faster than he can say "Papaya"

[As for Relationships! Once you begin to form bonds, you may check on them once a week to see how you've been doing! Unfortunately, the Savior System does not come with live updating on that function, so you will have to do your best and discover your progress once a week!]

'Got to be one of the more mediocre System.' Alex nodded to himself.

If he were forced into this thing, he should've been given something to make his life easier!

[Hey! That's rude! Stop being so ungrateful! You are literally set up to win! Stop complaining and get to work Master~! Any questions?] The System asked with a cheery tone.

'Why me? I hadn't even had the chance to ask the Old Guy' Alex was genuinely curious and annoyed.

[Hmm~ It's because it'd be funny! Isn't it ironic to give someone the "Otaku Dream" when he is completely uninterested and indifferent to it all? Then again! You may enjoy it! I know I will~!]

'Fair enough, I had an inkling since Old Man said it, but me being the butt of the joke seems to be pretty much confirmed.' Alex nodded sagely, swiftly and absurdly accepting his new reality.

Getting up, Alex walked past a few people, alongside a tall red-haired girl as he gazed through a window, seeing the beautiful cliffside that held the grandiose-looking Beacon Academy in its full glory.

Although the sight was indeed beautiful and quite breathtaking, Alex was more fixated on his more primal needs.

It seemed the previous host of his body neglected it before it handed over control to Alex.

'I really need to take a piss and there isn't a bloody toilet on this thing!'

To Be Continued!

-Author Note Start-

Yes, yes.

I've done it again.

Another Fic!

Don't worry, this is purely for fun much like my Gojo Fic.

As such, I have no obligation to update this, unlike my Ten Shadows Fic. (Freedom Baby!).

I was bored, so I wrote this. Enough said.

We'll see how it goes lol.

SO DOWN WITH THE PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES DAMNIT!

THE TEN SHADOWS SCHEDULE IS STILL THE SAME!

(Unless I binge read another few Manhwa's lmao)

Hope you enjoyed this thing, as It's been on my mind for a while.

I ABSOLUTELY adore the Nasuverse Excalibur!

The Sword Of Promised Victory - Forged from mankind's hopes and dreams at the heart of the planet is just too badass.

So I fiddled with a setting that would fit just right for it.

Now, I had to rely on the settings I am aware of.

Thus, the broken world of Remnant that surely needs it was the lucky winner of an Excalibur Wielding OC Insert!

Now, to make it more interesting, throw an indifferent cynical OC who wants nothing to do with it!

But... How to make him do stuff?!

Plot!

Or... A system that promises pure agony to those who don't adhere to it!

So yeah, Alex is a slave to the system - Clearly and blatantly.

But it ain't too bad.

Saving some people is fine in exchange for not getting tortured!

Right?!

Although this was executed slightly differently than initially intended.

In terms of Character, Alex may seem similar to Akira in the dry humor department and a tad more cynical.

But you may have noticed that he is clearly different. (Hopefully he came out that way lmao, it'd be bad if I could only write one type of character lmao)

Welp, see ya next chapter!

Whenever it'll come!
