*Ring! ring!*

*knock knock*

"Kaezi? Are you awake?", a man's voice. "A moment, 3rd brother". She opened the door to her room.

"I thought you were still asleep. Get down for breakfast and we'll leaving".

"Yes, brother...".

I quickly take a warm bath and dress myself. I'm ready!

I quickly ran down the stairs and greeted my family. "Morning, everyone!", I cheerfully sat down at the family table.

"Zi, you're excited for today's first day of school?".

The smile from my face can be seen. "Yes, dad! I am now in my 9th grade. It's obvious I would be excited since it will be the last school year".

"No, you're just excited to see your dear friends", a sarcastic remark from my twin brother.

I pout my face. Stupid Jeremy always ruin my excitement. If not for the fact that our parents are present, I would have already smacked his head.

Jeremy Iura, my older twin brother. A sleepyhead and a gamer. He's very good in programming services and very skilled in technology. A game addict in short. He's like that but he's my brother so I don't feel embarrassed by his personality.

"Zi, did you already pack your stuff? Is everything in your luggage?".

"Yes, mom. Don't worry, everything is in the order".

"Good, cuz I'm worried that you won't fit in. It will be a whole year of schooling and you'll be living in dormitories. Just thinking about missing my children already".

Mom, cut it out. And why won't I fit in?! My older brother lives in dormitories too and we're in the same school. "My brothers are in there so I won't have any trouble fitting in".

We moved our ass and got inside the car.

"Sis, don't forget to call us everyday! And if you decide to visit home, you shouldn't forget to bring back something for me!".

"Yes yes, little brother. I won't forget!".

Noah Iura, the youngest in the family and our nightmares. This little devil always loves to play a prank on us. Ever since he was born, we have had a hard time cleaning the house. And did I mention that he also tried to light a fire in the house?! Totally freaking out just thinking about it. My parents and brothers even stayed up late for him. But ever since he started attending school, he began to mature a bit, that he put aside his mischievous self. And that is like heaven to us! The family even prayed to let him stay like that forever.

Right now, we are planning to go to school. No. 1 Academy, the best school in all of Kyoto. It's said that after attending the first day, the school will give us a free allowance. 5, 000 every month! Can you believe that?! I mean duh~, It's totally amazing.

I glance at my twin brother beside me while at the front sitting with the driver is my 3rd brother. "Brother, will 1st and 2nd brother meet us at the entrance?"I asked, trying to reach him.

He put down he's sweets and turned his face on me. "I don't know. They didn't say anything".

Klein Iura, my 3rd older brother. He is fond of sweets and carries a lot everyday. If you want to beg him or please him, you can just give him cookies or lollipops. Unlike us, he didn't inherit our parents' looks and said his blonde hair and yellow eyes came from our grandpa.

"I see", I respond.

I looked outside the car window and rested my face in my palm.

It's a sunny day.

The three siblings arrived at the school early. The other older brothers are waiting for them and have met them.

"Brother Lewis and brother Derris?!".

I ran towards them. My 1st brother, Lewis, hugged me back. "Good to see you, Little Zi!", smiling as he patted my head.

Lewis looked at the others. "Klein and Jeremy! You have decided to study here too?".

Jeremy responded, "Yes. I can't just let that brat cause you trouble".

"Who are you calling a brat?", I yelled at him.

Klein and Derris were quiet. Klein offered 2nd brother a cookie. "You want some?", he asked with a blank expression.

"I'll pass".

Derris Iura, my 2nd older brother. A quiet person but a doting brother to me. He always comforted me when I cried when I was just a kid. We often go to the amusement park with Jeremy. He may not look like a caring person but he is. Dark blue silvery hair like mine and Jeremy. A handsome brother but is really hard to approach except us, his family.

Lewis Iura, the eldest child in the family. He is said to inherit the family's legacy. A mature and handsome brother of mine with dark purple hair and yellow eyes inherited from our beautiful mother. Yeah, he is handsome and I'm proud of it. He always teased me but loves me deeply as a little sister. He loves sports and is rumoured to be popular in school.

Now that I see it, most students look at him when entering the gate. He sure is popular.

"1st brother, I think we should go inside now. The ceremony will soon start", Derris said, grabbing his shoulder.

"Now then, we should go inside. I'll take you there", Lewis smiled at me.

"Sure brother!".

We followed him as we entered the school.

Outside the school gate, a person carrying a bag and luggage arrived.

"Dear, don't forget to take your medicine regularly!", his mom said.

The boy smiled. "Yes, mother". And entered the school.

And right now, we are waiting for the ceremony to start.

"Kaezi, it's good to see you!".

"Oh, so you attend this school too. It's great that we're together again!".

"Likewise, Kaezi!".

Lucy Akatzumi, my friend since middle school. We are like the best of friends. She also came from an influential family, the well-known Akatzumi Family. They've been doing fashion business. Since we became friends, our parents always met and decided to do partnership.

A voice from the speaker was heard. "Please form two lines in every class section. The ceremony will soon start".

"Oh, it's starting soon. We should hurry and join our class queue", I said abruptly.

"We should go to our designated class queue", Jeremy said leaving my side.

"Uh.. sure. See you later, you two".

Jeremy went first and Klein waved at me saying, "Later, Little Zi", with a loud voice.

"I told you not to call me that here!".

A boy not far from them heard it. "Little… Zi".

I join my class queue and wait for the ceremony to start. I'm not much of a talker but mom said I need to make friends.

"Later, Little Zi!".

"I told you not to call me that here!".

A voice that was so familiar and an unfamiliar voice I heard from the crowd.

"Little.. Zi…?".

Is she here? Will I be able to see her in this school?

I tried to find where the voices came from but since it's crowded and full of students, I guess it was not meant to be. I can always find that voice later.

The ceremony ended quickly.

I went to my class and found a place to sit. A female student approached me. "Hello there. I'm Melody Nakamura. Hope we get along well".

She smiled at me. It was awkward to talk to a female student whom I only met once. "S-sure. Please meet you, too. I'm Claude Kazuya".

After that, she began to talk to the others and make some friends. I just sat down without doing anything. I only hope to meet her.

10 years ago,

"Hurry up, hurry up! The kite is flying low. Up! Up! Up!", she giggled as she watched the kite fly up.

"Little Zi, I can't do it. The wind is too strong!", the little me said, huffing so exhausted.

She went near me standing in front of me. "But the kite is gonna go away!", she whimpered.

A man's voice suddenly called her. "Young miss, we should go back now!".

"Give me more time!", she yelled.

I stand up and remove the dirt on my shirt. "I guess you need to go home. We can play again next time", I smiled.

"But I wanna play more!", she cried.

I gently touch her head and pat it. "We can meet again next time. And at that time, we should exchange introductions. I hope that we give our real names at that time".

"It's a promise?"she rubs her eyes.

"Yes. I promise!".

We swore a pinky promise under the cherry blossom. She went home after being called and was escorted. While I..

"Student Kazuya, please read page 11!".

I snapped out from thinking about the past that I forgot I was at class. "Y-yes, teacher!".

It was lunch time and later we will have free time to get to know people in this school. Lucy and I went to the dormitory where we settled down.

"Good thing that we're roommates. It's hard to adjust on the first day of school", she said and lay down onto her bed.

"Lucy, don't be so lazy. We need to have lunch after this".

"Uhhh… of course!"

She feels alive again after hearing the food. I should have brought it up earlier. "Then you should order some food for us. I need to go meet my brothers first".

"Sure. Oh right!", she suddenly raised her voice and hurriedly got something from her bag.

What's happening to her?

She brought out her camera. "What is that for?".

She rolled her eyes. "I mean, we need to take our first photo together! And I know a beautiful spot!".

I was speechless. "Order some food first and we'll do it!". I loudly hit the desk with my palm.

"Jeez, alright! I'll go now. But don't forget our photo together, okay?".

"I know". I mean, we always do that every school year. And I will never forget it.

I left the room and went to find the student council. That is where my big brother is.

But on the way there, I suddenly got my attention on a cherry blossom at the back of the school building. "I should go here later. This is a perfect spot for our first photo!".

I was motivated but recalled something from my past. Under those cherry blossoms, it reminds me of him and his broken promise.
