Chapter 4 Amber's POV

"Only you

Again, I'm acting weird in front of you

You're so pretty pretty pretty

But why am I like this?

I sleep and kick my blankets around

Why did I do that? My head is spinning

I keep kicking my innocent blankets"

The night is still young when the Lights Show ended. It was an unforgettable moment for me that would be encrypted in my memory for a long time.

"Are you already tired? Do you mind if we go to the Night Safari?" I asked Vince after seeing him browse some stuff through his phone.

"I'm not yet dead tired. I can still manage to accompany you," he replied as he was caressing the back of my hand.

"Okay, if you say so."

We rode in a cab to get to the Night Safari. We were welcomed by the Poy Dancers. Singapore's already a hot country, but with the Poy Dancers performance it was even hotter. Vince ushered me in so we can take our seats and watch the Creatures of the Night Show. Yet another show lol.

The facilitator asked the audience, "How are you? How's your night? Brace yourselves for tonight's show in 3, 2, 1... Let's begin."

Right after the cue, an owl came out of nowhere and flew above my head making its way to the facilitator's side. I remembered Hedwig, Harry Potter's owl. How cool would it be to have an owl as a pet? Lol

Then, beavers roamed around the stage. They were so cute! They performed some tricks such segregating the trash, and the basic ones (sit, stand, wait, roll over, etc.).

Other animals which I've never heard or seen before entertained us as well. The show ended with an applause from the audience.

After the Creatures of the Night Show, we went for a tram ride. A tour guide educated us regarding some of the animals which can be spotted during the ride. The surroundings emitted an eerie vibe, since it was already night time- dark, indeed.

When the ride was over, Vince and I decided to walk around the area hoping to see more animals. We saw a giant flying squirrel, bats, and a leopard. It was really dark in some parts of the zoo. That's why we agreed to put an end in exploring the area further.

"That was interesting. Do we also have night safari back home?" I shoot him a question the moment we exited the zoo.

"I don't know. Are we going somewhere else? I think I'm about to pass out from exhaustion," he said.

"Were done for the day. Let's go back to the hotel now," I immediately responded when I saw his resigned look.

We took another cab on our way to the hotel. Silence sprung throughout the ride.

Vince sighed when he got out of the cab. He hurriedly went for the elevator. I followed suit after paying for our fare.

Hotel room...

As I entered the room, he dashed past me and flew into the bed.

I laughed at him saying, "Haggard lol."

He responded, "Look who's talking."

I sat next to him and touched his hair.

I asked him, "Is it okay for me to do this? Some people don't like it when someone touches their hair."

"Its fine, but I might pass out if you continue to do that," he mumbled.

I said to him in reply, "Before you pass out, how about you take a shower first?"

He asked me jokingly, "How about we take a shower together?"

I grabbed a handful of his hair and snapped at him. "You wish. You...pervert!"

He then went to the shower area smiling like a fool. I was sitting in the bed removing my makeup when i heard him sing in the shower. So he can sing? I didnt know that haha. After a few minutes he came out of the shower with only a towel hanging from his waist.

I immediately covered my eyes and yelled at him, "Omg wear your clothes! Did it become your habbit to step out of the shower with only that thing on?!"

He went closer to me and backhugged me.

"I want to sleep naked"

I glared at him saying, "No omg."

I break free from his hug and quickly entered the shower.

"Oh gosh was my face flustered when he said that? Omg. He's so good at making fun of me. Arghh!" Those were my thoughts throughout my bath time.

When I came out of the shower he was already wearing his clothes. He saw me staring at him.

He smirked and asked, "Do you want me to take them off?"

I snapped at him, "No don't you dare."

He smiled at me as he was saying, "Alright I won't tease you anymore. Come here."

I sat across him and stared at him. He leaned in closer to my face we're nose to nose, then he kissed my nose. I crinkled my nose.

He muttered, "Ahhh control it Vince! Dammit, why do you have to be so cute and pretty at the same time?"

I retorted, "Why do you have to be so handsome and sexy at the same time?"

He smiled naughtily then asked, "Oh you think I'm sexy?"

He put his hand on my shoulder and his other hand tilted my chin. He kissed my lips gently making me feel that tingling sensation. I let go of my inhibitions and lose myself whenever he's taking over me. I didn't want to end up like this but, he's just so good at kissing. What else is he capable of? Omg.

His hand that was in my shoulder suddenly went behind me caressing my back. He seemed to be in a haste. He pried into my mouth more roughly than before. I unintentionally and unexpectedly moaned from his advances.

He paused and grinned, "Am I too good with my lip service?"

"You-"

I was not able to continue my sentence then. He pushed me down. The next second he laid flat on top of me.

"What are you doing? You're quite heavy. Get off me," I barked at him.

He said arrogantly, "I don't mind rendering my lip service for a whole night. But, I'm afraid you would not be able to get up tomorrow from embarrassment due to your swollen lips."

"You, idiot!" I snarled at him and pinched his ear.

"Ssshhh let me hear your heartbeat." He positioned himself closer to where my heart is. It's kind of embarrassing at this moment that I am flat chested. Guess he will really hear my heartbeat lol.

After a few seconds he muttered, "Your heart's beating fast because of me."

I pushed him then turned my back to him.

He hugged me and whispered in my ear, "I love you."

I turned to look at him and said, "I love you too."

I embraced him while I position myself closer to his heart, "My turn. It's payback time."

I closed my eyes while listening to his beating heart. I felt secure whenever he's with me. He seemed to dote on me so much that I tend to rely on him more often.

He called my name but there was no reply. He looked at me. I was already dozing off.

He mumbled, "Ahhh she fell asleep. Alright, guess we'll sleep with the lights on."

He kissed my forehead before tucking me in the blanket that we shared. He closed his eyes and in just a few seconds, he too was already sleeping soundly
