"This is Henry Robert speaking from the point where first ever 10.0 magnitude earthquake about to struck. To anybody who doesn't know about what is happening,2 days ago British Earthquake Locating Team or BELT has located a signal of 10.0 magnitude earthquake will hit the heart of Britain, London. The government surely has cleared all the museum and evacuate the King of British, but behind me there still around 70% civilians left. Me and my crew currently 10km away from London, but still, the effect might come until here. Let's pray on God that all this will end safely." reporting the Reporter from a fairly safe distance. It happens exactly 10 minutes before the earthquake struck the capital of British. But there is something the reporter didn't said at all, the way British Government corrupting. The British Government only evacuated 30% of the people who live there not civilians. All 30% of them is either Royalty or Nobles. And by the time the earthquake struck, only 26% of the civilians have evacuated to the safe distance.
On the first minute of the earthquake hit London, all everybody feel is small shake on the ground. The situation goes like that for 20 minutes. And then, the real misery begun. The earthquake hit really hard that every building on London crumbles to dust. There is nowhere safe, not even shelters or underground bunkers. The whole city that has been a memorial of war, full of history...destroyed. Even the historical and tourist center didn't survive. Everything...is destroyed into wasteland. The earthquake hit the London all day without stopping.
The next day. Finally, the earthquake stopped for good, and the Authority finally deploy the Search and Rescue Battalion to search for any survivors, and luckily there is. But with 1 survivor found, 600 dead bodies are discovered. And this for the whole morning, and by the time hit 12.00pm, the casualties hit 720,000 with more than 1,000 survivors found. For the people around the world, this is the end of the catastrophe. But what they didn't know is that, this is only the start of a war.
Shortly after the afternoon pass, the grounds all around London start to shake as if there is small earthquake hit them. The earthquake is surely not harmful because it only effect small things such as debris and small rocks, and this happen for around 2 minutes. After that earthquake stop, vehicles start digging out from underground using a drill. And after they reach the ground the door behind that vehicle opened up simultaneously and then human like soldiers start come out of the vehicle with equipment and weapon humanity never see before. They looks exactly like humans except that their skins resembles the dirt colo and are also bigger and more buff than a normal humans, they are equipped with assault rifles, sub machine gun and machine gun ranging from 27mm to 38mm and they are also equipped with various type of swords such as katana, knightly sword, sabre, rapier, tachi and even rarely seen sword such as long sword, double handed sword and zhanmadao are used by them. Not to mention, they also carry cannon that seems to be carried by tanks all around the world except their's are attached to the exo-skeleton that they are wearing and their cannon ranging from 45mm to 94mm.
And without any hesitation or mercy, they open fire at those survivors along with SaR Battalion which are lightly armed with no more than a sub machine gun. The SaR Battalion didn't even stand a chance and in the night side, it's reported all of SaR and survivors get killed. That night, all televisions all around the world get hacked. Then it broadcast a live
"Greetings, Upper World People, I am the King of Zygon, Kritan. And I'm here to give you, upper world one news. Today attack on London, United Kingdom today and planned earthquake yesterday is by us. And please look at this as a declaration of war from us against all of you, Upper World People. And the intention of us is not to destroy you for no reason, but to restore back the nature. We hope you will be preparing yourself." said the King of Zygon himself. After that all televisions go back to normal without any malfunction.
As the response to the Zygon attack against British SaR Battalion and survivors of "Crumbling of Death", British Government launched Operation Takeover where they deployed more than 300,000 soldiers and 4,000 tanks and AFV along with 400 bombers and 680 fighters to the Zygon controlled area which is on London, United Kingdom.
3 days after British deploy their task force to fight the Zygon, they finally returned from the battle with no more than 300 soldiers and 2 AFV, with all deployed aircrafts destroyed. Reports from few survived troops saying that all fighters and bombers are shot down 1 kilometer before they arrive on battlefield and even if they break through Zygon defense using few tanks, they couldn't go any further than 200m. Even when enemy doesn't have any tanks, enemy could outsmart the tanks and use their HCG or Heavy Caliber Gun to destroy the tanks. Some of them also said that enemy will attack the soldiers using swords rather than using guns.
Slowly but surely, the Zygon pushed the British and Ireland forces and civilians out of their land until they take the whole island in just 1 month and 2 weeks. The UNDF did launched multiple attacks against the Zygon using fighters and bombers, but the enemy missiles take them out in 20 miles before they even get to the island, and even a Pacific Fleet got taken out with only 1 frigate returned but crippled.
2 weeks after the fall of British and Ireland, the Zygon launched an attack on Germany, and in 3 weeks, the Mighty Germany, fall. And right after Germany fall, Zygon also launched an attack on Germany neighbouring country including Russia. In 3 months, the whole Europe and Africa fall with Russia trying to deploy all their troops to defend their motherland. South America continent also under attack with Brazil fell. After all the attacks, all the remain forces of the defeated countries has decided to collab under a name. Fallen Union.
The whole world is exposed and vulnerable against the Zygon attack. In a simpler and more understandable term, any country are and could be attacked anytime and from any direction, either from ground,from the sea and even from the air due to their newly invented air warships that drop kinetic-absorbing drop pods which contain 3 or 5 Zygonian elite warriors lead by often 1 Leadership. Leadership is a rank filled with soldiers which can be considered as the elites, and best of the best in both carrying offensive and conducting an attack as a capable strategiest. In most cases, 2 or 3 squad of these 'Drop-pod' soldiers are enough to take over a state and help the incoming forces to form a base and a safe place.
It has reached the point where the whole world has lost their hope. Even The US President, William Richford Clark seems to lost his hope in fighting this new threat. And that thanks to their rapid deployment, their strategical advantages, element of surprise they consist and their technological capability that struck the world in fear. But still, he gave a chance for General Kariyama Haruhato, the Head of Defense on UN and The Military Leader of UNDF to form a fighting force that is capable of challenging the enemy and will be supported in any cost of funding. And he accepted it and then he began his planning on creating an army that is able to rival the enemy and warships that is able to stand. At first, he must think off the army that is competent enough to effectively fight the Zygon. And to begin with, fighting the Zygon is not like fighting some terrorist armed with gun. It's much harder to fight as Zygonians are tougher than normal human and also stronger and better in every aspect. Which make sending the normal soldiers just unsuitable for the job. What make them more unsuitable to fight Zygon is that Zygonian warriors easily adapt to the environment they will be fighting in. In such cases, that during The Operation Takeover, the Zygonians quickly adapt to close quarter combat where they will use their sword and their extreme agility to fight the British soldiers. After examination of all the previous attack report, it seems that nearly all of the report stated that the Zygonians used their sword in urban fight. This would give an absolute disadvantage to the soldiers as they are not equipped with sword, and instead they are equipped with a knife which would prove itself futile. At this point, he needs men who are capable to not only capable of fighting with swords, but also people who are capable of rivaling even a Leadership.
Not long after thinking, Kariyama suddenly remembered about The Ghost Division, which was a division that gain their reputation during The Great Death Witch Rampage. It was an event that could have possibly not forgotten by everyone as during The Great Death Witch Rampage, more than 300,000,000,0 people lost their lives due to plague, famine and even The Death Witch's army that their job was to spread death and corruption across the globe. And it was due the heroic action by The Ghost Division lead by husband and wife, Azuki James and Haruna Torsney which both were Japanese-Caucasian mix. They lead the division which were consisted of around 300 warriors from different countries and cultures. For the first time, humanity set aside their differences and fight to stop the Witch. After decided to use the descendants of The Ghost Division due to a huge amount of the original Division members are either dead or retired from the job, Kariyama decided to take his contact book containing the phone number of one of Azuki James and Haruna Torsney daughter, Azuki Luna. She is the oldest sister of The Azuki Quadruplet and the head of their band and the vocalist called "The Quadruplet". He called their home phone a few times but there has been no one answering his call. It is until the 8th time, that someone finally answer it.
"Umm…Hello?? Wh-who is this??" asked the girl with low-pitched voice on the phone while the background noises filled of arguments as if God and Satan are having an argument and has come down to Earth.
"Uhh…Yes hello, yea. Is this the Azuki's Resident? I'm Kariyama. Haruhato Kariyama talking. Also, may I know who am I talking to?" asked Kariyama with a serious voice while he is trying to ignore the awful background noises that is equal as how Hell come to earth.
The girl on the phone just go "uhh" for around 10 seconds before saying "Excuse me, I'll be back in a while" before putting the phone on her chest and yell "Shut up and stop fighting for the sake of our parents!!". And then she put the phone on her ear and clear her throat before start to talk "Yes, this is the Azuki's Resident and this is Azuki Lina speaking."
"Ah, Lina. It's you. Nice to hear from you, I can pretty much sure you don't ever remember me. But yeah, I met you when you were a small. Around 8 months old or something like that." Says Kariyama before a smile started to form on his face thinking about how adorable Lina was when she was small.
"Ahh, is that so?? Well, I can pretty much assure you, sir. I don't remember anything until I am 4 years old. So, may I ask, why did you call here??" question Lina.
"Oh yes, the reason I call you. Is Luna around? Can I talk to her, if you do not mind it?" said Kariyama with the relax tone in his voice.
And then Lina went silent for a few seconds before putting away the phone on the table and yells "Luna!" as strong as she can. Though far from the microphone, Kariyama still hear it as if she is screaming on the microphone of the phone. Then a scream on the background from a yell could be heard "What the hell do you want?!" and the voice is nearly as similar as Lina's voice. And then Lina yell "Just come here! Someone called Kariyama would like to talk to you!". After that, the girl actually come to the phone and both Lina and her starts to talk about something that Kariyama are not able to hear because of how slow and vague their talk is.
"Uhh-…Hello? This is Luna. Lina said that you are Kariyama. General Haruhato Kariyama. Right?" asked Luna with suspicious tone.
"Yes, Luna. It is me. How are you. Good? Well before you say anything, I need you to come to my house tomorrow. I will give you the location. It's about Human-Zygon. We have a chance to win, but I need you to come and meet me tomorrow at my house, I'll explain it further there.". Said Kariyama in a hurry tone, as if the world is going to end in a few days.
"I-.. Alright, I guess. I will come tomorrow. Though I can't confirm when, but I will come." Luna responded in the same tone before Kariyama hang up without saying a thing. And as Kariyama putting down the phone, he suddenly remember that their forces are in big need of warships or at the very least a transport that is big and tough enough to transport a few squad of their new soldiers to the battlefield. Right after that he got an idea and take a piece of paper and start drawing random stuff on it. Time and time again he would throw away the paper that he has drew. He actually does that until he accidentally fell asleep.
