It was a trap from the beginning 8 Men were surrounded by Dozens of goblins

"Damn it we're in a fucked situation. Everyone gets ready to fight." Edward shouted out

And at the moment Edward screamed at the others to pay attention the Goblins suddenly started attacking them

All the crew was turning their backs to each other making a circle it was a normal strategy that Edward learned back in his days

Kayne was the first one who kills one of them it wasn't really hard to kill one good hit is enough to cut them off but their speed and their ability to dodge was a problem

After seeing Kayne killing them so easily the fear and shock Start decreasing from other members and started to kill them one by one but the actual problem was their huge number that seems to have no end

And what was in Edward mind was

' their shape isn't bigger than the usual goblin I don't is it some development or I'm just mistaking something ' what Edward though after killing a goblin and then he took a look at how kayne was doing

And he seemed to be doing great unlike the other members that had some injurys

"Huh huh huh they I'm this tired from killing only 7 of them what we're goin_ fuck what was that " not completing his sentence an arrow was about to pop Kayne's eyes but at the right moment he dodged it unconsciously " everybody watch out there's_ " and again not completing his speech The scene of the arrows going through the villagers head was the only thing he saw the blood was spreading on the ground

4 of the villagers are dead 4 left there's no escape

"what should we do ?" One of the members started to freaking out with his hands shaking

And then the moment the goblins saw a weak spot in the villagers defense the quickly took the chance and started to attack together

"Kayne do you have any plans huh ? " Edward shouted at kayne to see if he got anything they can do at that moment But the problem was "Where's Kayne ?"

"I don't know damn these pieces of shit" one of the group said while defensing a goblin attack

"Wait I can see him "

"Where is he ? Huh!!"

Kayne was the closest to the goblins attack but

"The goblins !! They just passed by him !!?"

When Kayne was completely immersed in his lost memory That feeling of disgust, that strange, ominous feeling, was caused by the need that was preventing his savage and animal nature. Goblins don't see him as a human, no, you can't see him as a human, because that aura flowing from him was worse than even those monsters.

Kayne He saw the opportunity in front of him and took advantage of it. He snuck up behind the goblins and started killing one and the other. The goblins were in complete disarray, not knowing what was going on.

Edward also pulled himself together and began the attack on the goblins.

There was only one Goblin left Kayne threw his sword

Idward said "Don't lose your guard because the only ones left are like mice stuck in a corner."

Kayne said" don't worry I got it "even though kayne was able to kill them all but he didn't take the opportunity cause killing them one by one is going to only slow him minimizing the numbers of goblins he can take out

And what seemed to be a goblin being freaked out was walking back

And that moment a weird energy hunted him at that moment kayne rolled up his hands and grabbed the goblin by the neck, and the feeling of taking a soul with both hands seemed to choke him. A conscious soul, not like the young Wind Wolf.

The goblins began to flounder and scream. Edward and the other members were terrified.

But Kayne? He didn't even blink He was listening to every moment of the goblin as he was dying until he took his last breath Kayne  felt disgusted He felt disgusted at how shameful it was for someone to be killed by such hateful creatures

They started running as fast as they could. Edward and Kayne Ahead of the others, they set off as hard as they could, but it was too late when they arrived and found all the houses soaked in blood. The strange thing is that there is only blood, there are no bodies around. .

Edward was very angry and clenched his teeth to the point of blood

" Edward Let's go to the source of the smoke." Kayne said while putting his hand on Edward's shoulder trying to wake him up

And when the were sneaking toward the source of the smoke

There were many goblins surrounding a great fire fueled by the corpses of the villagers All the corpses were men, women and children.

They were blindfolded and tied to their feet and legs. There was a goblin different from the others. A tall goblin carrying a crutch. He looked old and spoke in a strange language. Kayne felt It wouldn't be a good thing if he continued talking and then started whispering in Edward's ear

" are you fucking crazy" Edward said totally surprised from what kayne just said

" trust me we have no chance but this  to stop something bad from happening" not even trying to explain with a serious expression kayne said

Edward knew that Kayne changed From the moment that demonic expression appeared, his years of presence or mentality

completely changed Edward has no choice but to follow his instructions

Kayne crept Among them was waiting for the opportunity for Edward to do his part. Edward had to set fire to one of the houses to attract their attention, but no fire was used.
