When school started the next day, our friends couldn't believe Arielle had got a boyfriend. Berrine (Berry) and Lisa both had one, though Blair, Arielle, and I didn't. Well, technically until now. We three even had a Whatsapp group chat, Single Book Club.

And for the next month and a half, that's how it was. Everyone believed that Arielle now was, in dating terms, 'taken'. Both me and Ari decided to just lay low and make sure no one, NO ONE knew about our secret.

How, may you ask, we did that? We told everyone we knew Ari had a boyfriend.

March rolled in smoothly, and Ari and I had fooled everyone we knew. It was great, absolutely.

Until Lisa's annoying ass boyfriend stuck his huge ass nose in our bizz.
