Darkness, yeah that was my friend. Welcomed me in everyway traveled my skin with warmth.

Welcoming warmth.

This…this was my home.

"Xavior." The weak voice cut through his linex.

Looking down he pressed it and began speaking.

"Yes?"

"Sir, don't be mad….I took Zenia to earth to shop." A fit of coughing sounded on the other side causing Xavior's heart to pound. Unconsciously he began to run to the control center.

"Kaylea what happened? Speak to me!" He yelled into it. She was his family. She was like a sister to him. One not from blood but made from water. Whether he wanted to admit he did care for Zenia very much. She was beautiful and bright. Cut from diamond. The perfect cut just for him.

"Her suit didn't (cough) work she never slowed. She isn't waking. I can't feel a pulse." He could her the pain in her voice as she broke. "I'm sorry xavvy I tried I really did." Her tears loud and clear but the pounding in his ears made it hard for him to hear much more than his own heart.

Xavior reaching the control room slamming the door open. Looking like an animal lost and ready to attack for a drink of water.

"Call Jackson now. Suit me." He ordered out men rushing around. Xavior's mind and eyes buzzed with commotion as his men began to zip him up. His thought's racing to Zenia. Her smile. Her laugh bright making the sun look dim. Her tears. The anger the sadness shook his very core and some how he kept fucking up with her. Kept needing to make right yet kept fucking up and couldn't protect her. As if she wasn't actually meant to be his. He felt the zipper slide up his back. Hearing Jackson enter. Xavior didn't speak just looked at him and he knew as the men began helping him in a suit.

Time slowed as the walked to the door to be dropped.

Xavior doesn't pray but if he did. This would be the moment he did. To hear her laugh. See her smile. Feel her lips. Love her in the way she deserves.

The floor dropped from below them sending the world spiriling.

"Calculate their coordinates and send it to our suits." He said to the control center.

The suits voice that sounded like a robotic woman came through.

"Coordinate's found. Following." The world rushed closer. Hitting his red button as he seen the red numbers flash through his helmet he began to slow letting his suit take over.

The closer the ground came the more his heart hammered. There was trees everywhere. His suit slowed more giving him a better view from what laid 50 feet down. Broken trees. Dirt and grass that had been moved from their resting spot. 2 unmoving woman.

His feet barely touched the ground as he ran to them.

"Zenia! Kaylea!" He screamed out as he and Jackson neared them. Xavior bent over Kaylea.

"I (cough) think she is dead. I am barley living." Kaylea said as tear slid down. Xavior turned on his knees to the woman lying 10 feet from Kaylea. Jackson kneeled next to Kaylea holding her hand kissing her hand. Then slowly picked her up.

Xavior walked slowly to the unmoving woman.

If he was given the chance he would do right be her even if it was just one time.

He bent over her. Pressing the button of her broken helmet. Making it pop open. Revealing a peaceful woman. He put his fingers to her neck to feel for a pulse.

Nothing.

He licked his finger placing it under her nose.

Nothing.

A small tear slid down his face. He stared at her as he spoke to Jackson.

"Take Kaylea back she needs medical attention. The queen has fallen."

He could her Kaylea break more as a hysteric of cries came out.

"This is all my fault!" She screamed as Jackson and her broke off into the sky.

Xavior's hand gently rubbed her check. Bending over he kissed her gently on the forehead.

As accustomed in their traditions if one dies on soil you leave them where they lay. If one dies inside you find them their resting spot. Xavior was to leave her exactly where she laid. He gently took off her helmet letting her hair spray free.

"You were the closes thing I had to love and I am sorry I couldn't protect you." He kissed her head one last time before he broke into the sky.

Her death was inevitable it was inviting it wanted her and it got her. The ship coming closer and closer to view but his heart slipping further and further away.

The coldness gripped and pulled. Scratching begging for entrance. Her eyes slowly opening to the night sky the surrounded her. Kaylea gone and there she was left in the middle of the woods with no idea which direction to go and no way to call for help. Here she was completely alone and empty.
