I took my head off the pillow and before I could stop myself; I let out a sob- "Why can't we be together? Why must the moon goddess hate us? WHY CAN'T WE BE BLOODY HAPPY!?", I ask as I'm bawling my lifeless eyes out.

"I don't know those answers, Faye.", Cam tells me.

Dropping my already heavy-hearted body against Cam's; Valentina begins to softly rub my back. They continued to comfort me until I felt a painful shock going through my body and I let out a cry. Having difficulties breathing while my body feels a sharp pain; as the pain continues, my wolf, Alina, speaks while I'm trying not to pass out. "It's alright, Faye. Let the darkness take over." and that's what I did.

⁕ I wake up to see that I'm in the meadows but not the same one, that Cam, Christian, and I hang out. I continued to look around when I felt a hand touch me; I was going to freak out, but they spoke; "It's just me, Alina."

I smile and turn to face her, as I do that I'm pulling her into a hug. Before I should say anything, I felt someone behind me, so we both turned to see the moon goddess. Bowing to her and she simply shakes her head before helping me stand. She gives me a soft smile and I return it. Sniffing the air, I soon realized that Kevin was also here; turning around, I saw Kevin and two other people. The two people grabbed Kevin and led them to us. Before they could get all the way here, I gave him a big smile and ran into his arms. I turned toward my wolf and moon goddess to see her hugging the two guys. After the reunion, the moon goddess talks, "Hello, Kevin. I apologize for making you and Faye go through the pain, but I needed you both to come here in your dreams."

"What do you mean, mood goddess?", I asked.

"Simple. You two will end up being pregnant twice, but the second time, you two won't be able to be in their life.", the moon goddess tells us.

"So, we have children but the second, we won't be able to raise them.", Kevin and I say.

"Yes. Please understand, this is for our future. You may be a beta now, Faye but in reality, your the queen of the vampdragons since your mate is the king but Kevin's father doesn't know that once you turn eighteen, no matter who has the title, they wouldn't gain any powers.", she explains to us.

"So, we can be together?", Kevin asks.

"Yes, and no.", she replies.

"That-"

"In a sense, we can be together but in reality because of our second child, make it no.", I say.

"Correct!", she says happily.

"Why us?", Kevin asks.

"Simple, but I'll let your sides explain it.", she says while turning toward our creatures.

"Right, Faye, my name is Zaff and I'm Kevin's vampire."

"I'm Dikais, and I'm his dragon."

"Hello, Kevin, my name is Alina."

"We are… we're descendents… from the first vampdragon werewolf mates.", they say. We stay silent as we wait for them to continue.

"This may come as a shocker, but please ask questions at the end.", Zaff tells us.

"Like we said before, we're descendants from the first vampdragon werewolf's mate. None of you know about them because they took it out of history books a long time ago.", Alina continues.

"They had a child, but they died, once everyone found out that it was both. So they tried again and again, but each time, the vampdragons and werewolves would kill their child.", Dikais says.

"We know, you must be wondering why us? And that answer is because of yourselves.", they say together. I look at them in confusion. And then suddenly there's a text floating; it reads: To the future vampdragon and werewolf's mate; we hope you will have better luck than we did. There is so much we need to tell you, but let's start from the beginning- My name is Martin and I'm a vampdragon while my dragon's name is Dikais and my vampire name is Zaff. My mate's name is Agatha, and she's a werewolf. Her werewolf name is Alina; throughout the years vampdragons and werewolves could never be together, but I wanted that to change. So I set out to look for my mate. Agatha wasn't my first mate; in reality, it was a woman who goes by Valeena, who was a witch. But she falls in love with a werewolf; I wasn't mad at her, but it sucked that I wouldn't have a mate until she gave me the werewolf's old mate. It thrilled me to have a mate again, so I searched for them; it took me many months, and when I found her; she was a werewolf, but I didn't mind. We had lots of difficulties since her pack hated vampdragons; little by little, we could be together. That was until she fell pregnant; everyone wanted to know if they were a vampdragon or a werewolf, but never if they were both, which for us was bad because they constantly killed our babies. Agatha fell into despair and soon after she killed herself. After weeks, I followed behind from a broken heart. The witch that was originally my mate told me a prophecy:

A young vampdragon and a young werewolf will fall as mates and they will have children, but they won't be able to raise one of them since they were both. But because they couldn't raise them, they grew to see all creatures as equals, and from there they changed the world.

It surprised me I could read the text. As I'm opening my mouth, I see the moon goddess about to speak, so I close it.

"You may wonder why you could read that text since it wasn't in English. That is because it's your native tongue, which is Dovahzul. Cam, Christian, Valentina, Jaylen, and Rave are the only ones who understand Dovahzul. This reason alone is to help you in the future; I know it's a lot to take in, but please know this is the only way.", she explains.

Everyone was silent as we let what we read sink in and once it does, my eyes go wide before glancing toward Alina then Zaff, and Dikais. I notice Zaff and Dikais have tears coming down then I look toward Kevin, which he has tears coming down as well. So I make my way towards him and hug him. As I'm holding on to him, he bursts into tears; hearing him break like this is more painful than what I went through before coming here. Before long we fall asleep once again.⁕

I wake up to the smell of my mate; he has this weird nature smell to him, similar to how a rainforest would smell after a rain shower. Taking a look around, but I didn't see him so shaking my head, I got dressed for school. I make it to the kitchen to her Valentina and another witch talking.

"Reject that stupid mutt and curse this bloody pack already! You'll be weaker if you stay with that… that disgusting mutt and his pack!"

"ENOUGH MOTHER! I would understand where you are coming from, but I can't. I get if grandma was telling me this because her mate was a HUMAN! Dad is a Wizard, and he's still alive!", Valentina tells her mother.

"I would if you wouldn't make a stupid mistake.", her mother tells her.

"That's enough, Selena.", another witch says.

"But-"

"Enough!"

I walk into the kitchen to see three witches and my pack. All the pack members didn't seem to hear what they were talking about, so I shot a look at Christian and Cam to see them awkwardly eating their food. They are the only ones that heard their conversation; grabbing a bowl and about to grab some cereal when one girl entered the kitchen.

"Hello there, Faye, was it?", the girl asks.

I didn't answer her and continued to make my breakfast; I was heading to the fridge just as she raised her voice.

"Are you not going to answer my question?"

"Yes… but I didn't see why I had to answer you.", I state bluntly.
