Kumotsuki had stopped the lecture, and Amelia was lost deep in thought. Although she realized she did not understand everything that Kumotsuki was talking about, she also recognized that there were a lot of things that she could latch onto.
She realized how chess did, in fact, represent the entirety of life and how the story of King Vishtaspa of Persia and Zarathustra, while a legendary tale, had absolute truths regarding it.
That the game of chess was a divinely inspired game that used as metaphor and tool for people to use to understand the world around and begin the path to self-mastery.
But it also represented the external events that happened in the real world, such as the War of Gods, between the Titans and Gods and or Asuras and the Devas.
She also recognized that the pieces all represented various different aspects of a human being's consciousness and probably that of the “divine” beings, such as the gods and titans.
