CHAPTER 48 - BUBBLE BATH

Priya was taking a really good bubble bath and watching TV yesterday. Since the walls are used for storage, the tub is in the middle, free-standing. Ever since these new features her regiment has been more diverse, and the bubbles were invented to be just right. If I recall the show was about that one guy that's a tour guide but silly things happen and he always gets into trouble. I really liked the fourth season. The water was actually pretty warm and nice. Then the whole thing transpired. All of a sudden, this girl in a cafeteria apron bursts through the door holding a scoop. "Empress, this stuff sucks! Give me a better job! I want to go on adventures!" she yelled. My back slammed against the tub. Of course, the whole thing happened so fast I nearly fell out. Ha! She was holding her hands together hopefully when the cultic officers came, but what she had done wasn't right, so I had her escorted out and thrown in jail for a few days to teach her a lesson. Something about it seemed curious. Food stains covered her apron. Taking a closer look, I saw she was a pretzel maiden, you know, from Handshake, the same one that helped me scoop out the planets. That's a little secret, so don't tell anybody. Anyhow, I felt bad and started thinking … what would have happened if I said yes, If I listened? For most of my life I've been an introvert, even when I was a little girl. If I had talked to her something else might have happened, even though in this case I made the best choice. Beside the tub my phone was laying on a little table, so I used the auto-search and typed in, "I'm an introvert" and it came back with "Try talking to people!". Ha! Well, duh that's just common sense, right!? Not so much if you're an only child and a scientist. I slapped my forehead like a dummy. Try and top that!
