Chapter two: The seperation

Queen Alula ran with her baby. Her husband, the king had been killed while trying to save her. She could still hear his last words ringing in her heart just before he was killed by their enemies. "Go, you're our star's last hope. She needs you" he said. "She needs you too. Who would teach her the swords and the right way to rule" the queen cried. "You're capable of this and more better in this duty than me. Remember her powers. Take her to the Figlin, he'll guide you on what to do. Go now! before its too late. I love you!" he said. "Arc! Arcturus!, I can't leave y..." She couldn't complete her statement before he was killed. She cried and ran as fast as she could holding her baby tight. She didn't risk using her wings for fear of being trapped easily. Dodging all lasers and avoiding contact with fellow warriors, she arrived at the castle where there was less fighting. she looked for an almost secure spot to hide. she always carried a disappearance flower with her and she hoped she still had one on her body. she searched frantically but to her dismay she had none. She looked at her baby and a drop of tear fell from her eye. She sighted a small opening and went there. It wasn't just an opening as she had thought, it was an opened door that led to the palace's secret garden which was known to only her and her husband. she hurriedly went inside to look for the disappearance flower. She suddenly heard a sound behind her but was quick to use her powers. She turned and realised she was not alone. Right in front of her were 5 masked warriors from whirlpool galaxy. "Kill her!" one ordered and the remaining 4 moved closer to her. She used her power to command lightening and it struck two dead while two escaped. The last warrior, apparently the leader, became furious and came closer She immediately commanded another lightening but it didn't stike him. It killed one of the two and the last one was greatly injured. She suddenly realised that their leader was no ordinary starlight warrior but possessed great mind controlling power. she continued using her powers but it only landed elsewhere. He was controlling her mind, directing the lightening anywhere other than him. She stopped using her powers, held her baby closer and moved backward preparing for the worse. he was only about 5 star inches away from her when she hit a tree. She looked back and discovered it was the disappearing flower tree. She shot more lightening to keep him busy then cut one of the flowers quickly. He was now very close to her. "You think you can escape" he said with a sardonic laugh. "The king is dead, now its your turn." The moment he said that she became furious and commanded thunder and lightening at the same time. He didn't expect it and was injured slightly as he tried to divert the attack elsewhere. As he did this, the queen enchanted the disappearance flower.

The flower brought the queen and her baby to the sacred halls of 'Theta Scorpii'. There she found the Figlin seated in the air. Around him were 3 colourful birds with very beautiful wings. The four creatures sat in a circle and made some enchantments. They seemed to be unperturbed by the activities happening in the galaxy. "ahh...ohh.." princess adhara cooed. This suddenly drew the attention of the creatures as they immediately transformed to 4 starlight creatures; 3 male and a female. They walked towards the queen, slightly bowed their heads before taking the princess from her mother. "You have done well to bring her here" said the figlin. "Tell me what I need to do " the queen said breathlessly. The figlin smiled slightly and said " you have a lot to do but for now..." he hesitated before continuing "the princess would be leaving starlight galaxy." "What! my child needs me and where would she survive without her people" the queen said almost in tears. The figlin looked at her sympathetically and signalled the female starlight to meet the queen. She had very long red hair that shone like fire. Her eyes were gray and she had pink full lips that were pouting. She spoke with such tenderness that the queen saw understanding in her words immediately. "Adhara will be taken to earth and brought up by earthly parents. When she turns 18 , she'll be brought back to starlight galaxy for her mission" The woman paused and looked at the figlin. He nodded then she continued. "At age 17, all 5 powers of light would have reached their full manifestations then she would experience full transformation. She would live in a place called Berlin in Germany" she stopped and looked at the queen who nodded in understanding but not without tears in her eyes. The queen walked towards her baby which was with the figlin, placed a star necklace round her neck and said amidst tears "You'll always be my starlight princess and my adhara. You were chosen for a reason and that reason you will fufill with or without me" "Good bye my princess" she said then she planted a kiss on her forehead and ran out of the halls to fight for her people...
