10th Moon of 247AC

The young prince is now two months old.

Doran has already created a fame at his young age, he is a quiet but happy baby, he rarely cries or complains.

He smiles and gurgles every time he is hugged. His big black eyes and gummy smile won the hearts of everyone he met.

And he met many people.

Harry Potter was an orphan, he lost his parents when he was fifteen months old and the relatives he grew up with were scum.

The Dursleys were the worst kind of Muggles.

Their abuse and neglect left a deep mark on Harry, for a long time he had serious trust issues and believed that he did not deserve to be loved, among other things.

His friends became his family and helped him through his problems.

But not even they helped him solve all his insecurities. It was his mentor, Healer Padme Rion who made him see a therapist. He was 20 years old when he started going to therapy.

His therapist, Richard Todd, diagnosed him with post-traumatic stress disorder, survivor's guilt, and anxiety.

His recovery was a bumpy road, for every step he took he seemed to take another three steps back.

With the support of his friends he kept going and after 4 years Harry finally felt free, healed.

No more guilt, no more nightmares.

He felt free as a feather, but since fate loves to play with him, after a few months his life fell apart once again- But that's another story.

Harry never had a real blood family who loved and cherished him. At least not one that he remembers.

But Doran Nymeros Martell has a huge family. With loving uncles and aunts, many cousins, grandfathers and grandmothers, and more!

Doran loves them!

He loves his grandmother Dorna who visits him every day and tells him about her day. The Princess of Dorne doesn't seem to care that her grandson isn't (apparently) old enough to understand her. Every day she walks into the nursery, picks Doran up in her arms, and walks out onto a balcony where she sits in a rocking chair.

She talks about the meetings she had, the business dealings, the nobles she has to put up with every day at court. She complains a lot about them. Doran finds it hilarious. More than once she uses sensitive language to a baby's ears, and if she is caught by other members of the family the princess is scolded.

Doran laughs out loud every time he remembers his six-year-old uncle Lewyn scolding his mother.

A boy scolds the ruler of a kingdom.

("Mama, Dory is a baby! Oby and Trys said it was forbidden to use mean words around him!")

His grandmother is a calculating woman, always with some scheme on her hands, she has a wicked wit and a sharp tongue. But she is also studious and loves history and art. She always invites talented painters and musicians to court. At 37 years old she is still bitter that the Citadel dared to deny her access to their library because she is a woman.

Oh in the end she got her way. At the age of seven, she contacted her cousin, King Aerys I, who like her was an avid scholar. King Aerys gave her a signed edict allowing her and all her descendants unlimited access to the Citadel.

The King also tried to change the rules so that all women could enter the Citadel but unfortunately he passed away before carrying out his plans.

His younger brother, King Maekar, had no interest in such things. He was a warrior through and through, and thus King Aerys's reforms were forgotten.

When he was Harry he studied the renaissance and learned about the Medici family, Doran thinks that Dorna Martell would make a perfect Medici. She is a lover of the arts and a great politician.

He classifies her as half Slytherin half Ravenclaw.

His uncle, who is only six years older than him, is also a regular visitor. With the supervision of his nannies, the young prince sits on the floor with his nephew in his arms, playing with him and talking to him for hours.

Doran loves his mini uncle stories.

Although he finds it hard to believe them to be true, no matter how many times Lewyn insists. He wasn't born yesterday, he's not going to believe that humans rode dragons bigger than castles.

That 's crazy!

His past world had millions of mages, magic was super developed and no one has managed to tame a dragon enough to ride it.

If such a thing were possible Charlie, the older brother of his best friend, would let him know.

The Dragon expert Weasley was still bitter that his little brother and his friends got to ride a real dragon.

Doran flinches slightly, his dragon escape from Earth's most infamous bank is not a pleasant memory.

Yes, it was epic.

But they nearly cost them their lives, which isn't that shocking knowing what his life was like. What shocked him was what happened next, the dragon landed in the middle of a forest about fifty kilometers from London. There he collapsed to the ground and no longer got up. He met the beast's eyes as it took its last breath.

A being who lives his whole life in darkness, continually abused and used.

Harry Potter identified with the winged beast.

So no, Doran doesn't believe that men rode dragons and conquered continents a few centuries ago.

But still he loves his little uncle and his stories.

Lewyn Martell is an exuberant boy, always smiling and moving from one place to another. An adventurer into making. A little Gryffindor.

His grandfather on the other hand doesn't visit him as often, but that's not for lack of love.

Arthur Uller is a busy man.

The prince consort is always traveling from one place to another running errands for his wife. But every time he's at Sunspear he spends time with his youngest child and his only grandchild.

Prince Arthur is not as open and physically affectionate as his wife but that is just his personality. He is a serious person by nature, his smiles are rare and his hugs even more so.

But still whenever he is home he takes time off to spend with the younger members of the family.

Doran has only seen him smile a few times but his eyes are always full of love when he looks at him.

He classifies him as a somewhat different Huplepuff, a Shiny Hufflepuff!

Hardworking and loyal but not very friendly.

He loves his grandparents and his uncle but the ones Doran loves more than anyone else are his parents.

Lily and James Potter gave their lives for him. He will always be grateful to them and they will always have a special place in his heart but he never really felt a connection with them.

They died when he was too young to remember them, the only memory he has of them gave him nightmares for years and required a lot of therapy to get over. Nobody wants to remember how their mom is murdered in front of them.

Growing up listening to Vernon and Petunia's bogus stories, he had no pride in his drug-addicted, alcoholic parents. When he went to Hogwarts and found out the truth he was ecstatic.

His parents were heroes!

He saw photos and heard many stories but never felt a connection with them.

Lily and James didn't raise him, they didn't hug him when he had nightmares, they didn't look under the bed for imaginary monsters. They didn't take him to the park or teach him how to ride a bike.

No one did that for him.

Doran doesn't blame them, the Potters did what they thought was best. They tried very hard but in the end they trusted the wrong person.

That's life, when he was Harry he accepted it and moved on.

There were people who tried to fill that void but no one succeeded, Harry had a family that loved him (not by blood, a family chosen and forged in the fire of a thousand adventures) but he never had parents.

Until now.

Obella Martell and Trystanne Dayne.

Obella is the most beautiful woman in the world from Doran's humble perspective.

With olive skin, large dark eyes and long, thick black hair that falls in waves to the middle of her back, she is gorgeous. The next Princess of Dorne is not a very tall woman, she barely reaches 170 cm but her body has curves in all the right places. Two months after she gave birth it doesn't look like she was ever pregnant, her curvaceous body is quite toned, the result of many hours training with the spear under the Dornish sun.

She is one of the best Spear wilders on the continent, second only to her uncle, Arron Martell, who mentored her.

Her full lips are always raised in a big smile whenever she is with her son and her eyes, identical to her firstborn's, shine with love.

In truth, Doran had never seen a more beautiful smile than her mother's (except perhaps the smile of the woman he doesn't even want to think about).

Obella is a loving mother, she spends hours with her son every day. She walks him around the castle and shows him all the best places. She even took him to the Shadow city once!

She is charismatic, smart and witty with a sharp tongue. She can also be quite impulsive and wild, but as she gets older she is becoming more serious. She is also calculating, adventurous, and fierce-tempered.

Doran classifies her as a mix of Slytherin and Gryffindor, two-thirds snake and one-third lioness.

His father on the other hand is a pretty easy going man. Cheerful and calm, always with an easy smile on his lips. He doesn't seem to care about politics or government.

His only true love and passion, aside from his family, is war.

Trystanne Dayne is The Sword of the Morning.

He is the greatest swordsman in Dorne, he was knighted at the age of fourteen and gained great fame by winning many tourneys. During one tourney he single-handedly defeated a dozen bandits at the same time. That feat was witnessed by Obella herself, who fell in love with the skilled warrior.

He himself fell in love with her moments after, when he saw her prowess with her spear.

Their marriage had to wait six years since the princess was only ten years old while he was fourteen.

Trystanne has olive skin, short silver hair, characteristic of the Daynes, and golden eyes. He is a tall man, 191 cm, athletic but not overly muscular, with the physique of an Olympian not a weightlifter.

He is also very handsome, with a clean-shaven face.

Doran classifies it as a Huplepuff, the perfect badger. Hardworking, loyal and friendly.

Like his wife, Trystanne spends a lot of time with his son. Most of their time together consists of playing games or taking naps together.

After completing his morning training every day Trystanne goes to the nursery, picks up his baby and goes to his bedroom. There he lies down with his son on his chest and they both take a nap.

That's the only way to get Doran to voluntarily nap, if his father can't sleep with him one day for whatever reason the baby stubbornly refuses to nap. No matter how many songs are sung to him or how many stories are told, Doran will not sleep.

House Martell has other members, distant relatives, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

But most of them live in other places, Doran has yet to meet them.

He is too young to travel or to receive visitors.

The baby prince is eager to meet them. Until that day comes he will enjoy his quiet life with his loving family.

And so his life went on.

Until one day his mother gave them shocking news.

"I am with child"

`A little sibling?!`
