"Ferg, what is this fellow doing?" Gus, the riyal smith, hurriedly interrupted Eric, who was preparing to modify the handle of the sword.

"Gus, let him do it. I actually came here for him. He wants to personally modify this sword. Also, his father, the sword sovereign, gave this sword to him. So let him do what he wants." Ferg, the family smith of the Hill family, replied with a playful smile.

Gus calmed down after hearing the explanation. But he felt it is waste of his time to stare at Eric, who has a super-good (;-)) reputation throughout the kingdom.

"Look, boy, I am the one who gave this sword to your father to solve a puzzle. If you damage this sword, your family won't receive a single sword from Royal Smithy in the future." Gus added in a serious tone.
