"Why am I here again? I'm not dead, am I?" Nyx asked, bewildered from within Luna's comforting embrace. Being cradled and pampered by a Goddess as beautiful as Luna was not bad at all. It was an experience that many would envy.

Currently, Ulric and Luna, with Nyx cradled in Luna's arms were in the study room where Nyx and Ulric once had coffee. 

And…while… Luna and Ulric were drinking coffee, Nyx was forced to drink milk… from a bottle… a nursing bottle, no less.

Why, you may wonder?

According to Goddess Luna, he was a baby, and for babies to grow big and strong they needed to drink formula milk.

So here he was, in the study room, being cradled in Goddess Luna's warm, comforting arms while being fed formula milk from a nursing bottle while Ulric let out occasional stifled laughs at his predicament.

"Pffft" Ulrick chuckled before his smiling face shifted into a hesitant frown, "No, but you were close to dying." He recalled how close Austin… no, Nyx was to dying. If not for that man's noble sacrifice, Nyx would have been killed before he was even born.

Nyx narrowed his eyes, sensing there was something Ulric was not telling him, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

*Cough*

Ulric awkwardly cleared his throat.

"Well, you see, something that I had not expected occurred." He paused and took a sip of coffee, so he could have a few seconds to think of possible ways to divert the conversation.

Albert's sacrifice was not Ulric's story to tell. When the time was right, he was sure Nyx's family would explain to him… or he may never learn about what transpired, due to his birth.

Imagine being told that you were the cause of a once-great hero's downfall. A hero who used to be admired and respected by many, now reduced to a limbless, bloodied figure that would forever be scorned by the masses. It would be a burden too heavy for anyone to carry much less Nyx, who even with his past life's age added together was a child in Ulric's eyes.

Nyx remained silent, waiting for Ulric's explanation. His lack of explanation was increasing his worry.

*Sigh*

Ulric sighed, within ten seconds he thought of hundreds of possible ways to change the conversation; however, none seemed feasible. Each method would lead to the kid's…no, baby's worry to increase.

With no better choice, Ulric decided a mix of truths with tactful omissions would be the best approach. And if given the opportunity, he would change the subject. "Well, you see, you might have triggered Universal Punishment when you were born." Ulric finally confessed.

As Nyx registered Ulric's words, his eyes widened, his hair stood on end, and he broke out in sweat from absolute fear. Instinctively, he felt frightened by the term. If his memory served him correctly, Ulric had once mentioned the Universal Laws. Prior to Nyx's reincarnation, Ulric had been secretive and hesitant to speak about the Universal Laws. He had mentioned that not even the Gods could go against the Laws of the Universe. If Nyx's guess was correct, the Universal Punishment should be similar in nature to the Universal Laws. Just hearing about it caused his entire body to feel fear similar to when he first heard about the Universal Laws. It was just like what Ulric said in their first meeting, knowing too much about how the Universe works was too dangerous for someone like him, who was too weak. And the result of him just hearing the term Universal Punishment caused him to feel absolute fear. Had Ulric explained what it was, Nyx believed he would have ceased existing.

Noticing the fear-stricken face and the rapidly beating heart, Luna grew worried, quickly enveloping the baby with her gentle Moonlight.

Suddenly, a vibrant silver light enveloped Nyx, starting from his pores before quickly traversing his entire body. Soon his blood, veins, and organs were all illuminated by a gentle silver radiance.

Nyx was initially shocked, but very quickly relaxed after noticing the silver energy was not harmful.

He excitedly wondered, 'Is this Magic?'

The sensation of the silver energy coursing through his body was overwhelmingly comforting.

The fear he felt after hearing about Universal Punishment vanished like it never existed.

The only sensation that remained was bliss.

Lifting Nyx by his armpits, Luna worriedly inquired, "Are you okay?" She looked into his sapphire-blue eyes with concern.

"Mm!" Nyx could only mutter in affirmation. His eyes were glazed as he continued to bask in the gentle energy. He felt he was in Heaven. The pleasure brought by the silver energy was just that good.

Time passed by quickly as Nyx continued to enjoy the pleasure brought by Luna's Magic. However, suddenly the pleasure ended, causing a frown to appear on Nyx's face. In a fraction of a second, he felt like he fell from Heaven to Hell.

Nyx looked up at Luna's unrivaled beautiful face with puffed cheeks, pouting lips, and puppy dog eyes. 

Luna almost felt her heart-breaking when she saw the expression Nyx was making. In his baby form, it was unfair for him to make such a face. And had it not been for her willpower, she would have given in.

"Humph, that won't work on me." She said with a cute, pouting expression after recovering.

"Oi, brat this is my final warning. My daughter is a married woman and even if she wasn't I would never give her hand to you!" Ulric pointed at Nyx's baby face, who from his point of view was trying to seduce his precious daughter. As a doting father, how could he sit still and watch his daughter be swept off her feet? Even if the brat was only a baby, Ulric followed a rule of fairness. 

"Father, stop speaking nonsense." Luna rolled her eyes, exasperated by her father's words even though she understood that her father's intentions were to change the subject.
