1 Chapter 1- Calm Before The Storm

It was three months after the Giant war and Percy Jackson finally thought he would have some peace and propose to his Wise girl.

He was sitting by the beach heading back to his cabin when he heard a high-pitched screech like that of a bird by the camp borders, he ran to Thalia's pine tree and saw a boy pursued by a little hellhound holding a celestial bronze dagger running towards him, the boy screamed again he couldn't believe that sound came from a boy.

The hellhound pounced on the boy biting his heel, Percy quickly dispatched the hellhound. He offered the boy his hand, the boy hit it away   

and stood up, Percy just shrugged and capped Riptide. He used the time to study the boy before him, he was almost the same height as Percy, he had blonde hair, electric blue eyes like Jason's, characteristics of a son of Zeus.

He had a sort of arrogant air to him. "What are you looking at?" asked the boy. Then Chiron and the rest of the campers came, "What happened here"asked Chiron, "well I was directed here by my father, as I was running here, I heard a

growl and suddenly a dog easily 10ft tall started pursuing me, I screamed for

help and then this boy came running, he just stood there smirking watching me fight the giant dog and when I killed it he frowned and came over to meet me" said the boy.

"What!, I remember you lying on the ground crying about how this was not how you wanted your life to end", interjected Percy. 'what a joker' thought Percy.

"As I believe, Percy is telling the truth because the amount of golden dust depends on the size of the monster, so a newcomer to me you're lying   Percy would never do that," said Chiron. "By the way what's your name, boy".

"My name is Jake Colton", said the boy sneering. Percy knew Chiron believes him but he caught some looks of doubt on some of the campers faces. Suddenly a bright blue light shone above Jake's head, the campers looked up and gasped.

"All hail Jake Colton, son of Zeus, God of Skies, Lightning, and the King of the Gods", said Chiron bowing. All the campers bowed including Percy, albeit grudgingly. "Oh yeah, this just got interesting, I could get used to this", smirked
