52 Chapter 52: Al Simmons

"Who the fuck are you?" Violator asked in shock. He had super strength and yet the person in front of him easily stopped his attack.

"I think that should be the least of your worries demon. But just so you can pass along a message to your boss, the name is Aiden El, tell your boss when you see him that this world is off limits now." Aiden said as he squeezed his hand, crushing Violators hand into mush.

"AHHHH!" Violator let out a pained scream as he couldn't believe he was hurt.

"You... Your no angel! How....how can you injure me?" Violator tried to make sense of the situation.

"Angel? No, I'm far worse than those hypocritical bastards. You I can stomach, at least you are true to what you are. Don't worry I won't be showing favoritism here, I'll be sending those bitches back where they belong too." Aiden stated then flew forward, grabbed the two tusks on the side of Violators head and used his knee to bash the roof of Violator's mouth.

Violator's skull crunched as the tusks snapped, seeing the one claw that was left swipping at him, Aiden grabbed the claw and yanked off the arm completely, then grabbed the lower jaw and yanked it off.

"AHHHH! What the fuck are you. This is impossible, only Angels and other Hell spawn are supposed to be able to hurt me!" Violator said fearfully.

"Damn, you sure are tough, I'm this world's new protector. Now go back to hell you fucked up looking....crocodile? Or maybe orgre spider? I mean I dont even know what you're supposed to be, except hideous." Aiden quipped then dashed in with an uppercut that turn Violator into a green bloody paste as his fist connected with Violators chest.

"I will be back Aiden El. I will enjoy tearing you to pieces bit by bit." Violator's voice resounded as the bloody paste caught on fire and vanished back to hell.

"Sure, like I haven't heard that one before. How original." Aiden said as he watched the bloody mass dissappear.

Turning around, Aiden looks at the man in front of him as his body healed.

"Cool suit. A little on the evil side but still cool, the names Aiden." He said as he held out a hand to the man.

"Al... Al Simmons. What is with all the people in costumes today?" Al said as he slowly recovered.

"Costumes? Eh, your one to talk, I'm not the one wearing a mask." Aiden chuckled as he pulled his hand back since it didn't look like the man wanted to shake hands.

Aiden observed the suit Al wore, he could see it had an immense amount of strength and power. It was black with white highlights, two silver skull emblems that attached a long red cape to the suit, and a large skull that acted as a belt buckle with various chains running across his body.

"Well Al, why don't you show me around. I am new here and you seem like a fun guy to be around. It's like your a magnet for trouble, sticking around you seems to be where I'll have the most fun." Aiden stated with a chuckle.

"Fuck no. I'm not a tour guide. I got shit to do and I don't need someone adding to my problems." Al said as he lept into the air, his cape extended allowing him to lauch himself back onto the roof.

"Oh you definitely have problems my friend, but I'm not one of them." Aiden said as he flew up to the roof shocking Al.

Al pulled his gun and aimed it at Aiden, "Look here Aiden, I'm not what you call a social person, I'm more of the shoot first then talk later. So go away, before my trigger finger gets twitchy."

"You seem pretty social to me, you ha..."

BAM..BAM..BAM

Al opened fire but the bullets just smashed into small round discs and fell to the ground harmlessly.

"What the fuck, I need a bigger gun." Al said exasperatedly.

"Hey, its not the size the gun that counts, its the size of the fight in the man who uses it." Aiden stated back.

"Your not going to leave me alone are you?" Al groaned.

"Nope. You seem to be the center of a lot of attention from this world. You have both Heaven and Hell after you, so sticking near you will allow me to take out agents on both sides. Plus you seem interesting." Aiden answered back.

Aiden didn't want to run around this world too much, he knew that both Heaven and Hell would send their agents after him, so if he stuck near this man he could have them come to him.

This world was very twisted, it was far from just black and white. Heaven wasn't the good side at all, it was just as bad as Hell, tricking humans into selling their souls to each side, in fact Heaven was worse than Hell. Hell you knew what you were getting.

Heaven portrayed itself as good, but in fact they didn't care about humans in the slightest bit. They had killed many innocent people, all to take their souls to build up their own armies. Their agents had bombed elementary schools and hospitals all around the world, same as hell.

Al Simmons was the second oldest son of Bernard Simmons who was a traveling salesman and Esther Simmons who was a devil worshipper. He was a very intelligent, physically strong, and highly decorated officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served with Force Recon and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, then he joined the Secret Service and became a high-ranking official with them as well.

He was so successful he was eventually recruited by the CIA into the U.S. Security Group which was an umbrella agency encompassing the CIA, NSA, and NSC becoming and elite black ops assassin.

Over time he met a woman, Wanda, and fell in love. After marrying her he began to question if what he was doing was right, basically growing a conscious.

This led to his boss, Jason Wynn, to see him as a threat, he didn't want him to quit, not only because he was the best, but he knew too much and could seriously damage the group if he ever talked.

Jason Wynn was already in contact with the forces of Hell, so when he began to plan Al's death, the forces of Hell wanted Al for themselves, so they had Wynn give Al a special contract that looked like a seperation agreement, but hidden along the sides of the contract was him signing his soul over to Hell.

After signing, Wynn sent him on his "last mission" before his retirement. Al had a bad feeling about the mission, but had no choice, it was the only way out of the group. Needless to say, his gut feeling was correct, it was a trap set by his boss and best friend and partner, Bruce Stinson. They sent him into a bio-weapon manufacturing plant that was rigged to blow up as soon as he entered.

Upon his death, he was sent to Hell and ended up making a deal with the devil Malebolgia, agreeing to become a Hellspawn and serve Malebolgia if he is allowed to see his wife one last time.

When he was sent back to the realm of the living, his whole body was severely burned beyond recognition. Malebolgia had removed many of his memories, causing Al to wander around in a state of confusion with only vague memories of his past life.

Using those memories he broke into the CIA and stole his file, along with several military grade weapons and ammunition. He used the file to locate his wife Wanda, only to realize that five years had passed since his death, and his wife was already re-married to his other best friend Terry whom she already has a daughter with.

This angered Al greatly, not at Terry or Wanda, but at Malebolgia for tricking him, he learns that his powers ran off Necroplasm, once he uses it up he would return to Hell. Not wanting to return to hell, he began using guns to limit his use of powers as much as possible, not only that but he was an excellent marksman anyway and was a miltary man his whole life. So he was most comfortable with firearms.

He began to fight against both Heaven and Hell, protecting the world from being destroyed by either side. Violator was sent to be his demonic guardian as it were, but now Violator was sent back to Hell by Aiden, which messed up Malebolgia's plans.

Aiden followed Al to a church, this was where Al had been staying as he tried to decide what to do with his life, it also was where he had hidden all the military grade weapons he had stolen.

Along the way Aiden stopped several muggings, rapes, kidnappings, arsons and various small crimes. His little acts of heroism didn't go unnoticed, not just by the people he saved but also Al.

"Why do you do that?" Al finally asked as Aiden flew back to the roof after stopping a thief who had stolen an old ladies purse.

"Do what?" Aiden asked confusedly.

"Stop every little crime you come across, I mean I understand major crimes, but that thief didn't attempt to kill that lady, or did he harm her, yet you still acted." Al asked, he was still undecided on what he was going to do now that he was back on Earth.

"Well, it's the right thing to do. You remember when you were a kid, and your parents said not to do something, what happened when you did?" Aiden explained, but not receiving a reply, he continued, "You get disciplined. So that's what I do, I administer discipline. To you, what that man did was petty, but you don't know what was in that bag. It could have her whole life in that bag. Not just money wise, maybe the last picture of a loved one, or the last letter or drawing given by someone dear to her. So to her that theft isn't so petty. It could be devistating to her. Or maybe it is money, she may need to pay rent and if stolen she would be out in the streets. Small acts of kindness go a long way, it renews peoples hope for a better tomorrow."

Al contemplated Aiden's words as he sat down to think on what to do. Much of his memories were still yet to return, so he was using his file to help jog his memory.

Aiden sighed, he felt the indecision still within Al's mind so he decided to give another example, he wanted to give the man a goal to strive for, to give him hope.

"Imagine if I did nothing, that lady cried for help, how do you think she would feel if no one stepped up to help her? They just watched as she was in distress. She would lose hope in humanity. She would feel that no one cared enough to even try, not just her, anyone. A man getting mugged, beaten half to death, yet no one does anything but keep walking. Or a woman crying for help as she is being assaulted, the simple act of a stranger, even if its just shouting at the men and taking a picture of the assailants would go a long way. They don't even need to physically try to stop it, no one should risk their own safety unless they feel compelled to. But something so simple will let the victim know that people do care. They have a renewed hope that the world isn't just going to shit." Aiden said as he looked around.

"I never thought about it like that. So what are you, some hero for justice?" Al smirked as he wanted to lighten the mood.

"I wouldn't say that, heroes don't usually kill, I have no problem killing if it calls for it. So maybe I'm more anti-hero maybe, but I think of myself more of a protector of the innocent and weak. I defend those that are unable to defend themselves. I have the power to help, if I just stood there and did nothing, when I could stop something bad from happening, doesn't that make me worse that the actual criminal committing the crime? Just something to think about." Aiden said as he watched Al.

As Aiden and Al sat on the roof of the church, all across New York and the nation, news agencies began to report on Aiden's activities.

"Breaking News on Channel 5, we have been receiving various reports of a man going around New York stopping various crimes. What we are about to show you is actual footage captured by eyewitnesses, some of this footage may be disturbing, so viewer discretion is advised."

All across the nation video footage of Aiden swooping down and stopping various crimes played on the televisions. It showed him get shot multiple times with nothing happening to him, he flew into burning buildings and rescued those trapped within with not one burn mark, lifting cars with ease to keep them from falling off a bridge.

"Who is this mysterious person people are now calling 'Superman'? How is he able to do what he does? We will update you as we obtain more information, please stay tuned. We now return you to your regular broadcasting."

Aiden's figure was plastered all over the the internet, people were torn between love and fear. Most people praised him for rescuing people, others feared him. The strength he showed was scary after all. Many questioned what if he was bad, what if he wanted to take over the world, what could they do to stop someone with that much power.

Within a high rise building, a beautiful woman with long red hair and white pupil-less eyes with black markings around them, large round breasts and an athletic build with milky white unblemished skin had been watching the reports. To sum up her looks in two words, perfect beauty. She was currently starring at a image of Aiden on her laptop computer.

Next to the computer was an ancient looking parchment, the borders of the parchment were emblazoned with wings, the body of the parchment showed Al Simmons with the symbol representing the Hellspawn.

"Interesting, not only is there a new Hellspawn for me to hunt, but there is something new. He isn't a fellow angel, but neither is he a Hellspawn. Maybe if this Al Simmons doesn't give me a descent enough fight, after I kill him I can turn my attention to this Superman. He is a good looking man too, maybe I can play with him if he is strong enough. If he survives that is."

With that she stripped down naked and with a thought a golden ribbon appeared which wrapped around her body, covering her chest and crotch, similar to a bikini, then it formed gauntlets which fully covered her arms as well as boots that came up to her knees. On her head a golden winged tiara appeared along with a large lance.

These were her Angelic Ribbon and Dimensional Lance. The ribbon was a sentient armor that radiated heat to keep her warm and she could communicate with it to use in battle. The lance was the ultimate weapon against Hellspawn, it could ignore the Hellspawns protective carapace by releasing a dimensional resonance that can destroy the Hellspawn.

"The hunt begins."
