Primordial Eyes

Jone, when he lived on earth, was a handsome young man who, for traumatic reasons as a child, lived in his locked house, living melancholically. Because he was blind in both eyes, he felt he would never see the beautiful side of life. And because of that, he made no effort to do anything and deeply regretted it. When he died and woke up in the body of a fifteen-year-old boy in another world where powerful cultivators, mystical beings, and divine races lived, he decided to live his new life as he wanted and without regrets. Right when he woke up, he discovered that in this new world, his eyes were now special, they carried great powers but were extremely difficult to control, and they had great seals that locked away something that this world had long forgotten. You Want Help?

"Here we are." Elder Wu said, looking at the gigantic wall in front of him.

"Here where? It's just a massive wall of a mountain; it doesn't seem like there's anything here."

"Tsk, don't be foolish, old witch. It's obvious it looks like this, or others would have found the tree long ago," Elder Wu said disdainfully at the old woman's foolishness.

"The map says the entrance is here. Search for the large stone wall in and around this area. If you find anything special, you'll receive some reward," Elder Wu told his ten disciples.

"Okay, Elder," the disciples responded as they quickly ran through the area, searching for something they weren't exactly sure about.

"You do the same. Look for the entrance. Whoever finds something will be rewarded with one of the tree's fruits," the old witch said to her disciples.

The other elder followed suit and said the same, and quickly greed and determination shone in the disciples' eyes.

They didn't know exactly why they came here, but they knew they were after some treasure. Only now did they discover that it seemed to be a tree, but for it to be important enough for their sects to send them here, it couldn't be an ordinary tree.

If they received fruit from such a tree, they would likely make advancements in their cultivation.

They quickly ran around, searching for clues in the area.

**********************

Jone was far away from these people, sitting at the top of a tree, while occasionally a dead beast appeared by his side and was quickly devoured by his eye.

"It's over."

"I lost count of how many beasts I've devoured, but it's difficult to break through to the next realm. It seems it will be much harder as I get stronger."

"From the 6° to the 7° phase of the realm is considered an high advancement; it's more complicated to break through, but I feel I'll break through in a few days."

He looked at those people again, a bit dissatisfied; he had been following them for several days, and nothing interesting had happened.

"Hmm, it seems this place is their objective." He saw the thirty disciples looking for something while the elders were together discussing something.

"Is there something in this place? Hmm, it seems there is really something." Jone looked at the large stone wall, and the wall began to transform slowly.

Energy from his dantian was sent to his left eye.

'True Sight Eye.'

"That's it, is there really such a large cave?"

Jone saw behind the illusion, and there was a gigantic cave in the wall. If he hadn't seen it, he wouldn't have believed that such a large cave would be hidden in this place.

There were roots coming out of the cave. The roots had a blue glow and were as thick as normal tree trunks.

"They're coming out of the cave; is there a tree hidden in the mountain? How big does that tree have to be for its roots to be this size?"

Jone saw that there was a path in the dark cave; the bluish roots illuminated the way, but he couldn't see what was at the end of the cave.

"It looks like I'll have to go in to see what's in this place; it seems good to have followed these people."

"But now, how will I get in?"

While thinking of a way to enter the cave, he saw that the people had suddenly stopped, and the three elders ran to a young woman.

**********************

"I found something!" One of the two girls from Elder Wu's group suddenly shouted.

The three elders quickly ran in her direction, while the other disciples stopped what they were doing.

"Where is it?"

"Elder Wu, look, I touched this place accidentally, and a blue light appeared. There seems to be something here." The young woman said this while touching a part of the wall, and a faint blue light appeared again.

"There really is something. Well, well, you will be rewarded." Elder Wu spoke as he approached the place where the disciple pointed.

"I also found something." Another disciple suddenly said.

When the elders saw what it was, they found it was the same, and soon, many found a part of the wall that glowed, and some found it on the ground near the wall.

"Tsk, this is strange; there really is something in this place, but it seems to be protected by a formation."

"None of us are formation experts. How will we find the entrance?" The old witch asked Elder Wu.

"And do you think I know? Let's try to break it forcefully; let's attack together."

When they were ready to attack, suddenly they felt someone approaching and heard a calm voice a bit far away.

"Do you want help opening the formation?"

The three turned quickly on guard, looking in the direction of the voice.

They then saw a young man coming out of the middle of the trees, dressed in simple white clothing, while walking slowly in their direction.

Surprise shone in everyone's eyes at Jone's appearance, especially the girls, but that wasn't what the elders paid attention to.

When the black bird on Elder Wu's shoulder saw Jone and looked into his eyes, it let out a cry and hid behind the elder.

"He is…" The Elder said, looking into Jone's eyes, that the feeling of being watched strengthened, and he felt that Jone's eyes were dangerous.

The other two elders looked at Jone curiously, a bit annoyed and not happy to be discovered by strangers.

"Do you know him?" The old witch asked Elder Wu.
