"Agreeing" to Help

She looked at Jone, still expressionless, for a moment, and then said.

"Oh, and what was the first one?"

"I". Jone said with an expression like it was something obvious as he pointed to his face.

'This guy really isn't joking,' she thought, looking at Jone's smug expression.

"I see". The young woman still responded without any emotion.

"So, what do you want from me? I imagine you didn't come to see me just because you had free time." Jone had already returned to normal, and her expression became calm again.

Jone saw that it was impossible for this young woman to belong in this place. If there was someone like that in this place, she would be extremely famous, and people would certainly hear about her when she arrived in the city, but no one commented on this person.

And Jone needed to spend energy to see her true appearance, even with his eyes. Other people would never imagine that her appearance was not real, he was really curious about what a person like that was doing in this place.

Jone felt that this young girl was much stronger than him and would not stand a chance against her, but he didn't sense any bad intentions from her. At least on the surface, she didn't seem to want anything bad from him.

Well, a large part of that feeling came from finding this young lady too beautiful to be able to do anything bad to him.

The young girl had the same feeling and didn't think Jone was being rude; even speaking a little arrogantly, they both had a good first impression of each other; maybe beauty really blinds people a little.

Not only was Jone's appearance pleasing to her, but because he had a celestial bloodline like hers, she treated him better than she would other people.

At least on the surface, the two talked normally.

"I came to see you to confirm something." Said the young woman.

"Oh, and?"

"I confirmed that your eyes are useful to me, you will help me with one thing."

"And why would I help you?" Jone said looking at her face.

"I'm not asking for your opinion, you're in my territory." She commented as Jone suddenly felt some moonlight lock onto his body as if it were trapping him.

"Well, we can talk properly, I wouldn't turn down a beautiful lady." Jone said as he smiled at her, not really caring that he was being threatened.

"It seems like you agree; don't worry, you will be rewarded. You can even leave this place at the end of the world, it's too small a place for people like us."

Jone was silent for a moment and then spoke.

"Okay, tell me exactly what you need my help with."

"You will know the details later, just know that we will go to the ravine in the mountain range of monstrous beasts."

"One of the five forbidden places on the islands? What would I do with my cultivation realm in this place?" Jone said, but in his mind he had already agreed to go along, that was one of his goals for coming here.

"Calling these five places forbidden places is a joke; just in this ravine, there is something really special to exist in this small place; the other four forbidden places are just silly things."

"When you leave this place, you will know what it really means to be a forbidden place."

"And you don't need to worry about yourself being weak; naturally, I will protect you in this place; after all, you accepted to help me with this."

"You just need to use your eyes for me, I can give you all the resources to help with your cultivation."

'Tsc, she talks as if she gave me a choice'. Jone thought, but he wasn't too worried, he really didn't feel this person's evil intentions.

"I don't need cultivation resources, you'll have to offer me other things." Jone said while looking at her.

After thinking for a while, she replied.

"Okay, tell me what you need."

Jone stared at her silently.

'Why is he looking at me like that? Is he stupid? Or does he want to die sooner?' She thought that maybe Jone was thinking something impossible, and she was already thinking about how to kill him if he said something she didn't like.

"I decided that I want to be able to ask for help once from the force behind me when I go to the mainland, and I want some martial arts techniques." Jone said after thinking about what he needed at the moment.

The young woman thought for a while and finally spoke.

"I agree with the techniques, but that only has to do with me and not with my family, but that's okay, I accept this as your reward."

"I will owe you a favor, you can ask me for something when you go to the continent, but nothing that goes against my principles and my family's purposes." She said it after thinking it was a simple thing.

"Okay, I agree, so when will we go to the ravine?" Jone asked curiously.

"In two months, you can do whatever you want in the meantime." She said this as she handed over a necklace with a moon pendant.

"Put it on, it increases your strength and defense, as well as showing me where you are and allowing me to speak to you when the time comes."
