Chapter 37: Lizardmen

The woman turned into a bag of bones and dried skin but surprisingly enough, she was still barely alive. Seeing this, Caizher sighed a bit. His mastery over this skill is still low. Trees that didn't cultivate and doesn't have any sentience are easy to kill but humans or other monsters are harder

But Caizher wasn't discouraged, he still can only barely use this skill yet it was already very effective. If he trained on it more, no doubt that it will become stronger and stronger

"Shaina, finish her" Caizher cruelly ordered and the woman immediately did as what she was told

Their small group continued on their way but the deeper they entered the city, the more fallens or monster they encountered. In the end, not even one of Caizher's dark goblins and wolves survived which was really a pity

Arriving at his destination, Caizher saw that the door inside the park wasn't the same as he expected. As there wasn't a base that built centered on that door, Caizher thought that there would be a lot of monsters guarding the door

However, it seems like the monsters that came out from it all disperse and abandoned the door. After a month that the doors opened, the monsters are finally free to go wherever they want. Thus, no monsters are around that park

"Let's go!" Caizher said and immediately entered the dungeon

What Caizher met on the other side of the door were mountains and mountains. The one at the base was only a forest, but this one is a forest with mountains here and there

Caizher and Shaina advanced cautiously as this is a new dungeon, they didn't know what sort of monsters they will encounter. In this world, even if you are not that powerful, as long as you have the right ability, you can still kill those that are stronger than you

Caizher quickly used his sword and cut the snakes in half. The snakes died and dissipated into mana particles only leaving one mana stone each as their corpse

Shaina also did the same, the snakes aren't powerful and didn't even required her to use any mana. A simple sword slash was enough

The man sigh at this dungeon's bottom rank monsters are these snakes. Caizher wants creatures like his humanoid dark goblins with four limbs. They can do different task unlike these snakes who do not have any limbs

"Pick the mana stones" Caizher ordered his remaining slave and the woman obediently complied. Just like before, Caizher swallowed the mana stones on his stomach

The amount dark energies on his stomach is higher than his normal mana. Too bad that he can't use all of those dark energies in one go. If not, it would make him much more powerful

From the snakes that attacked them, three of them left a corpse. However, he forgot that he killed the snakes by cutting them in half. If the snakes only have wounds, he would be able to make them his dark servants. But with a body like that....

Caizher can only sigh helplessly. This dungeon is really not as good as the one at the base

The two continued on their way and met more snakes falling from the trees. This time, Caizher did his best not to kill the snakes by cutting them in half

This batch of snakes only left a single corpse this time. Caizher walked towards it with his palm coated with dark energies

"Monarch of Dark Creatures!" Caizher slammed his palm on the dead snake and its skin was immediately corrupted and turned black

Caizher made sure to kill all the snakes they met along the way and turn them into his creatures of darkness. But since he can't use his dark energies excessively, he only made ten for now to save his strength

"Sigh... I hope this dungeon has house inside" Caizher muttered before he dodged a ball of water

The water landed on where he was before and exploded. From the trees emerged a bipedal lizard like creatures holding a trident on their hands

"Lizardmen?" Caizher exclaimed in surprise before he become excited. What he wants are exactly like this lizardmen that have two hands and can use tool!

There are only about fifteen lizardmen surrounding Caizher, Shaina, and the dark snakes. What is there to fear?

However, seems like the lizardmen are quite powerful on their own. In front of the tridents of these lizards formed a ball of water. It was exactly like the one that Caizher dodged before

"[Darkness Style: Dark Slash!]" Caizher used his skill and the dark sword light cut the water balls in half causing it to explode in mid-air

"[Ice Style: Freezing Fog!]" Shaina also used her skill and any water ball that comes into contact with her icy blue fog froze into a ball of ice before falling on the ground

Unfortunately, the snakes aren't as powerful as the two and one water ball was more than enough to kill them

Caizher coated his sword with mana and charged at the lizardmen closest to him. He slashed his sword on it but the lizard aren't to be underestimated too. It used its trident to block while two more lizards attacked him on the side

However, two tentacles formed on Caizher's side and wrapped it on the tridents' handle to stop them from advancing farther

Caizher opened his mouth and gathered his mana on it. He changed the nature of the mana and it turned into a black ball of light

The ball then turned into a beam of light that hit the poor lizardman on the face and it died

At this time, Caizher's tentacles can't hold down the other two lizards anymore and the man jumped in the air causing the two tridents to meet and clash with each other

Caizher used his sword on the right hand and pierce the lizard's head with it. While on his left, he turned his arm into a long sharp tentacle and coated it with mana that killed the other lizard

Shaina is also powerful on her own. She covered her sword with an icy light and slashed in the air using it. An sword slash made completely from ice was formed and the lizard was forced to block it with its trident

The woman uses this chance though and finished that lizard before two more tridents advanced on her position. She wasn't able to dodge and can only froze part of her body. The impact pushed her a bit and she gained some distance between her enemies

The lizardmen seeing that their enemies are not be underestimated clustered in a single location. They hold their tridents in front of them and made a ball of water

This time, the ball was bigger than any water ball that they made before as this one was made through all of their efforts

Caizher inhaled a sharp breath causing his stomach to bulge. The air was quickly infused with his mana causing it to turn dark

"[Darkness Style: Breath of Death!]" Caizher opened his mouth at the same time that the lizard men shot their one meter big water ball

The two attacks clashed with each other. The water slowly turned black until it dissipated into nothingness. However, it also used up a lot of winds that Caizher stored on his stomach

Shaina was about to make a move and help her master but the man gave her a mental command not to interfere. Caizher wants to do this on his own

Breath of Death is a very powerful skill but Caizher only has an initial mastery on it. The lizardmen poured a lot of their mana on this ball, how can it be weak?

Soon, the breath of death was overpowered and the water ball inched closer to Caizher. The man did his best but the dark air inside his chest was used up before he can completely destroy the water ball

The lizards' attack hit Caizher on the chest and the man flew in the air. Caizher's back hit the nearby tree without giving him a chance to use his body's ability to pass through physical objects

But of course, only the water ball was able to harm him and destroyed parts of his chest

"Master!" Shaina called out in worry but Caizher just waved his hand. There was no blood that spilled from the man and only fog of darkness can be seen inside his chest

"Woah, these lizards are really powerful!" Caizher said in amazement before his darkness 'patch' his chest and it returned back to normal. Even his 'clothes' was back to being complete again

"But you all will die now!" After saying this, Caizher charged at the lizardmen on his own. The lizards although tired still readied their tridents

However, when they were about to attack Caizher, the man vanished as darkness blanketed their surroundings. The lizardmen lose their vision and they didn't know where their enemies went to

They cannot even see anything. But to their surprise, a sharp tentacle appeared out of nowhere and pierced all of their chest. The eyes of these lizardmen widened in shock as the attacks came without any warning

Blood leaked out from their mouth and the darkness was condensed into Caizher's figure. The man rarely do this in fear that his enemies will blindly attack the darkness

But since these lizards already used up a lot of their mana, what is there to fear?

Caizher with his effort in cultivation grew a bit more than 5 cubic meters and thanks to the lizards positioning their selves in one place, the man successfully killed them

The majority of the lizards dissipated into mana particles and only left mana stones as their corpse. But to Caizher's luck, two of them left a complete body

"Heh... I turned my words back. It seems like this dungeon has a higher level than the one at that base" the monsters on his first dungeon aren't the same as these lizardmen

Even the pack of wolves cannot combine their attacks in a single attack that will have more power. These lizards has a certain level of teamwork and Caizher can't wait for the time that he made an army of them

An army means more resources! He can order his slaves to hunt for mana stones and corpse for him while he quietly cultivated to increase his strength

Of course, Caizher wants to fight but he wants to become stronger so that he can head deeper in the dungeon to meet more monsters

Caizher ordered Shaina to put the corpse on one side before he sat on the ground and rested his back on a tree to rest. He already fought a lot today and he needs to rest

As he's still just in the edge of the dungeon, only snakes discovered him. Those weak snakes were easily dealt by Shaina and the few surviving dark snakes
