21 Chapter 21: Exciting!

The curse forced Bruce on his knees as he kneeled down on the ground and looked at Caizher angrily

"Who the hell are you?!" Caizher smirked as he playfully played with the daggers on his hands. "Your son's killer!" Caizher was about to kill Bruce immediately to avoid an unexpected variable to appear but there was one thing he neglected

The woman that Bruce was pinning down before! A long vine appeared on the woman that wrapped on her arms and she used the vine as a whip and attacked Caizher with it

"Tsk!" Without a choice, Caizher cut the vine using his daggers causing the cut part of the vine to fall on the ground while oozing with greenish juice

"Since you want to interrupt then don't blame me for your death!" Caizher ignored Bruce for now as an 'annoying pest' is still present and he charged at the woman with daggers on his hands

As a believer of true gender equality, whether it be men or women, as long as they needed to die then Caizher will kill them!

The woman was shock at Caizher's decisiveness and made more vines to attack the man. However, Caizher easily dodged those vines or cut them with his daggers

The woman was forced to continuously back away from the distance while trying to hit Caizher with her vines

However, she's mistaken if she thinks that Caizher can only attack at close range!

Caizher poured mana on his daggers and it was covered with blackish energy. Caizher cut the air and an 'X' shape black light was shot from his daggers

The woman was shocked and made more vines to use as a shield but it was cut apart by Caizher's energy attack. It still gave the woman some time though and she did her best to dodge but it still hit her on the shoulder

Caizher was about to end the woman's life when he heard Bruce shouting

"AAHHH!!" The man's body started bulging, his already muscular body turned even muscular to the point that it was already unbelievable. The curse mark on him vanished and electric sparks once again covered his body

"Could it be, he's a dual ability user?!" Caizher asked in shock. There are of course those who can use more than one ability but they are rare. Also, even if you have two abilities, it doesn't mean you're going to be more powerful than others

For example, fire and water manipulation. If you can't use two elements at the same time then what's the use of having two abilities?

However, Bruce is clearly different. He can strengthen his body while also using lightning attacks

"Shit, why did no one know of this?!" Caizher said angrily and dodged the raging Bruce

Bruce's fist landed on the bed and managed to smash the bed apart as if it was something so fragile

"W-what destructive power!" Caizher can't help but be amaze. Although his body was filled with more potential than any humans but he spent a year in the apocalypse trying to get use to his new body unlike the humans who constantly trained their abilities

If not for Caizher having experienced a 'past life' and his superior body, he would surely be at a disadvantage against most of his opponents before

A strong body with a strong elemental attacks, this Bruce is a man blessed by the heavens! No wonder he's the top expert of the base

"How bold of you. You killed my son and now you tried to assassinate me. Prepare to die!" More electric sparks covered Bruce's body as he charged at Caizher's direction not caring at the things he knocked on the way

Caizher's eyes widened as his enemy is really powerful. Without a choice, he can only sink his body on the ground while leaving his daggers behind

Bruce's punch hit an empty air and he looked around to find his enemy. Bruce saw the daggers and was puzzled why his enemies left it behind and that is when a sharp tentacle shape darkness emerged from the floor behind him

"Watch out!" The woman shouted and used a vine to wrapped the tentacle and stop it on place

"Damned woman!" Caizher complained and return his darkness into its fog-like state and sink it on the floor again

Caizher reappeared next on behind the woman while his arm was shaped into a blade and slashed the woman's back with it

"Behind you!" Bruce warned but it was too late. A long cut appeared on the woman's back and her eyes went wide open. Blood leaked out from her mouth as she slowly close her eyes

"DAMN BASTARD!" Bruce roared as his body rage and charged at Caizher's direction but the man just sink on the ground again

However, Bruce'a fist still graze Caizher's head. But to his shock, instead of seeing blood, Caizher has a missing part on his head with black fog leaking out from it

"Shit, he's really so fast!" Caizher complained as he sunk on the ground only leaving a small dot of darkness again that served as his vision

Caizher traveled on the floor and reached where his daggers are. But he was surprise as Bruce shot a streak of lightning on his direction as soon as he picked the dagger

Without enough time to fully sink his body on the ground, Caizher moved sideways and the lightning hit him on the shoulder causing more of his darkness to be destroyed

Bruce didn't stop though and continued shooting more lightning causing more of Caizher's darkness to be destroyed. Caizher sink half of his body on the floor and was about to retaliate when a loud sound enter their ears

The sound was composed of various noise and the only similarities they have is that they are loud as if someone wants them to hear it

"AAAHHH!! MONSTERS!!"

"RUN!!"

"DON'T TOUCH M- AAHKK!!"

Aside from the loud banging sound, the two also heard the servants screaming at the top of their lungs. The two was forced to stop their fight to death as a strange creature entered the room through the window

The creature has wings that was attached on its round body. The creature was only a round shape with wings. Inside its mouth were sharp teeth and it charged at Bruce's direction

Bruce harrumphed and killed it with his lightning. However, from the window, the two can see flocks of strange creatures like this one

"Where did these strange creatures come from?" Caizher asked before he remembered something

It was a year now since the apocalypse. In the past, after a year, the black door opened and swallowed him

"Could it be, this is the other doors' works?" Caizher comes to this conclusion. If the black door can swallow him and give him a new body, why can't the other doors have other abilities? Like maybe, spewing out monsters like this

More and more strange creatures entered the mansion on every possible opening available

Caizher wants to kill Bruce but he can still see the big picture. The loud sound, the screams, these strange creatures, if you think that everything is still normal and nothing bad happened, then you are an idiot!

The most important thing for Caizher is to preserve his life. With his life intact, he would be able to fight stronger enemies in the future! Thus, Caizher decided to head out and investigate what is happening

Caizher ignored Bruce and exited the room. Bruce wants to chase his son's killer but the strange winged creatures won't let him and he was force to kill them

However, as these creatures' are too numerous, after he killed one of them, another one would replace it. It was a never-ending process and he doesn't have a choice but to flee too to find reinforcements

Caizher exited the mansion and saw several creatures outside. This particular ones only has the height of a ten year old kid and has green skin while holding a club on their hands

"Don't tell me?!" Caizher's eyes widened as he looked at these creatures. No matter where you look at them, they looked like the goblins from fantasy novels!

The goblins, seeing another alive 'human' abandoned the dead ones on their hand and charged at Caizher's direction

Caizher wasn't afraid though and jumped in the air while his foot landed on one of the goblin's face causing that goblin's face to bleed

Caizher used his daggers to kill and green blood splashed on the ground. However, from Caizher's 'back' he saw a goblin dressed and armed differently

The other goblins only wore worn-out rags to cover their private areas but this one was fully dressed in what looks like a robe. Instead of a club, this goblin has a staff on its hand

The goblin chanted some swords and three balls of fire was shot from its staff. Caizher immediately dodged by jumping in the air and covered his dagger with mana. He then threw the dagger on what looks like a mage goblin and it hit the poor goblin on the chest

Green blood leaked from the side of the goblin's mouth before its body fell on the ground. Caizher immediately went to the dead goblin and retrieved his dagger

However, instead of feeling fear from what the world becomes, Caizher's body is visibly trembling. His face has an excited look while his eyes were burning with anticipation

"The world has become more interesting!" Seeing new kind of creatures filled Caizher's body with ecstasy. The world become more like a fantasy world!

A fantasy world filled with endless possibilities. A world where many kinds of races mixed. A new and more exciting world!

While being thrilled in excitement, Caizher moved from another area to see more of this new world

Along the way, he encountered some humans. The inner area of the city was the home for the mana users experts, but their families are also living here

Their families lived a rather peaceful life even after a year in the apocalypse. With the door protecting them and mana users providing food, this kind of people doesn't have any ability to protect themselves and was unsurprisingly killed first

Caizher saw a small kid crying as a wolf creature was inching closer to her. Seeing this, Caizher covered his daggers with mana again causing it to turn black once more

Using his daggers, Caizher charged at the wolf's direction. Saving the little girl is only secondary, what Caizher really wants is to fight!

The wolf, noticing a presence approaching it turned its head back. Its body was suddenly covered with winds and pounced at Caizher aggressively

Caizher's daggers were blocked by the wolf's claw. To Caizher's surprise, even with him coating his daggers with mana, the wolf still wasn't harmed at all

The wolf opened its mouth and Caizher can feel mana gathering at the wolf's mouth and he break free from their stalemate

A line of condensed winds was shot from the wolf's mouth. Fortunately, Caizher managed to dodge in time. Caizher can feel that this wolf is slightly stronger than the mutant animals on earth and it filled him with more excitement

The goblins are weak and this wolf is stronger!

The wolf used its sharp nails to scratch on an empty space before sharp winds with the shape of the 'scratch' it made was formed and advanced towards Caizher

Caizher crossed his daggers in front of him and blocked the wolf's attack before he run closer to the wolf and returned his body on its original state

The wolf was plunged into a world of darkness and cannot see anything. The wolf howled and Caizher just let it be

Caizher condensed a part of his darkness to hold the daggers and with the protection of the darkness, stab the wolf with it

"[Darkness Style: Paralysis Curse!]" The wolf's fur has great defensive capabilities and Caizher only managed to make a small cut from it. Thus, Caizher activated his skill and turned the wolf paralyzed

On top of the wound area, a skull shape tattoo appeared on the wolf and it can feel its body losing strength. However, the wolf can still move its body albeit it was much slower than before

"Too bad, my mastery on my skill is still lacking!"
